Melissa and the rest of The Firehouse staff were great, Melissa explained all the differences in the types of units, offered advice and opinions but didn't over-emphasize anything in particular. She gave us time and space to carefully make a decision. While considering our log set it was convenient for us to stop in their other store and the folks there were equally helpful. Melissa even located a log set that was discontinued but, one we really wanted. She helped us with a contractor as well. All in all so far an excellent experience.

Lots of help in picking out the exact fireplace insert for the conversion from a wood burning fireplace to propane. They also recommended an installer, who did an excellent job. We needed to co-ordinate with a stone mason to make changes to the rock to make everything fit. It could have been a very complicated job, but everything ran smoothly. The fireplace is not only beautiful, it is functional. It will help heat the living room which tends to be colder than the rest of the house in the winter. So we have regained a useful space. Now if only we could get past these summer 90 degree temperatures so that we can finally use it!

This is a family owned company and their employee attention to customer service is outstanding! I would definitely recommend purchasing either winter items such as gas fireplaces or summer items such as patio furniture from them.

I purchased a FireMagic grill island off the showroom floor. There where a few issues to work through because the grill was converted from natural gas to propane. All of the issues have been resolved and I’ve had excellent follow up from the team a Fire House Casual Living to ensure I was happy and all issues with the conversion were resolved. Excellent customer service and highly recommended.

Service up to sell was better than average however grill was missing parts and left message and email with manager with no response of action taken. Jury is definitely out on Saber grill. So far it doesn’t justify cost.

Furniture is beautiful and wonderful quality. Of course it is given the price tag. Super happy with the pieces we received.... so far... after ordering 3 months ago. Reason for the lower rating was the overall experience. I was trying to order some pieces for a party we were having a month out so ordered specific pieces of furniture because i was told they were in stock and would be delivered in time. Of course, nothing was in. If i would have known the turn around time (1-3+) months i probably would have considered other options. I am still waiting for pieces to come in unfortunately. Definitely recommend if you don’t care spending the money and have an open timeframe for when you get your stuff.

We purchased four wicker pieces for $3K, $350 each. Twice what we could buy at big box stores. Stupid on our part. Surprised it took ~.45 minutes to ring up the deal! (they had to look up individual pieces); So far furniture are performing well.

The sales person that helped us was very good but before delivery she left the company. After that everything went completely downhill. Half of our order for patio furniture was lost and delayed and promised and finally delivered three months later. After we received the furniture, they were trying to call us to take receipt of additional items that were never ordered and asked for payment. We had several other sales people call and ontinue to ask for payment on items not ordered Tried calling Manager of the store to prevent a negative review and he never called back. There are other options in Raleigh who do a lot better job than the service at this store.

So far I cannot fully write an accurate review due to the fact that we are 7 weeks after my order and still no furniture from the manufacturer? I loved the furniture in the store but spent an awful lot of money to have the representative promise me furniture in 5-6 weeks and most likely she stated I would have it 3-4 weeks. I have called twice each time stating our order is not complete

I have been asked twice to review, yet have not even received the furniture that I ordered. Awaiting product before giving a good review.

I ordered sling back fabric for the chairs and they turned out beautiful! The gentlemen who provided the labor was great!

Had a great experience purchasing a full suite of patio furniture. The sales associate was knowledgeable and low pressure. I'm loving my furniture. The only issue is with the covers - they weren't the best options for the furniture I bought. They should have brand-specific options and the covers for tables should come with a prop inside to allow the water to run off.

We have purchased every piece of outdoor furniture from Fire House Casual Living for our last three outdoor areas since 2003. The first home was on Lake Norman. We found a fabulous outdoor cart, hutch, huge dining table and chairs, a cocktail table, towel rack, etc. We frequented the Exit 18 store and Jonathan was on our speed dial! He is still there. Look him up!

Our last two homes here in South Charlotte created new and fun outdoor spaces. We were pleased to find their Johnston Road location carried everything we needed and much more. We added love seats, swivel chairs, a round coffee table, two huge and beautiful cushion boxes, a round dining table with matching chairs, a stand alone umbrella and a table umbrella. In our most recent backyard, we have traded our round table for a hexagonal table and added two matching chairs. Amazingly, FHCL is still able to find the fabrics we've used all along, so with each move, we are able to keep what we've had before. The fabrics all still look brand new. I love their throw pillow fabrics, which dress all to perfection. I've got my eye on a round cocktail table/fire pit. We are waiting to cover the patio to figure out which one will look and fit best. I've visited all the other outdoor stores once, but all is from FHCL. Best quality, best prices for the quality, best selection, best service and best sales people.
