Regarding the ticket price, ferry fares are also set by the respective ferry company and are displayed through our platform according to the selected route and travel conditions.

the worst experience ever!
I had the worst experience buying ferry tickets through this website! I have a minibus and I was choosing from the options offered on the website to indicate my car type. There were only two options for cars, one for cars up to 4.25m and the second option for cars over 4.25m. Since there were no other options, I logically chose the one that suited me best, over 4.25m. How was I supposed to know that the website simply didn't have the option I needed??? When we arrived at the ferry, the port workers said that we had the wrong car ticket and that we needed a ticket specifically for the minibus!!! I initially paid 40 euros on the website. At the port, they told me that I had to pay the full 60 euros for the car ticket again! In the end, the trip from Igoumenitsa to Corfu cost me 100 euros for a minibus!!! This is simply outrageous! I wrote to customer support, but they don't care about their customers at all! They told me that since the ferry had already departed, tickets are non-refundable! How could I have contacted them before? That's when I found out the ticket was invalid at departure! Of course, no one ever refunded me! They sent me to deal with the ferry company directly, even though the error was on the website when I bought the ticket! And it wasn't my mistake! It's better to buy tickets on the spot!

The vehicle categories available during the booking process are supplied directly by the ferry company’s reservation system. Ferries.gr, as a travel agency, displays and processes the categories and fares made available by the respective carrier; we do not independently create or determine the vehicle classifications accepted for each sailing.
The classification of your vehicle as a minibus, the requirement for a different vehicle ticket at the port, and the additional amount requested before boarding were decisions made by the ferry company and its port representatives according to their applicable vehicle and fare rules.
Your request was also reviewed by our customer support team. Once the original journey had already been completed, any refund or adjustment of the ferry ticket was necessarily subject to the ferry company’s terms and approval. For this reason, you were correctly advised to address the relevant claim to the carrier responsible for the ticket classification and the additional charge.
It is therefore not accurate to state that our customer support simply did not care or that Ferries.gr imposed the additional €60 charge.
We understand that this was an unpleasant experience and we take your observation regarding the presentation of vehicle categories seriously. However, the one-star rating largely concerns decisions, vehicle classification rules, and charges that were determined by the ferry company rather than by our travel agency.
We therefore ask that your review be reassessed fairly and reflect the booking service, information, and customer support actually provided by Ferries.gr.

Please provide us with more specific information about the sailing concerned and the departure point you were directed to, so that we can examine the matter properly. We take the accuracy of the travel information provided with every booking very seriously.

Passenger Seating Arrangement and Common Area Management
The seating arrangements on the ship are highly disorganized and there appears to be no clear system for passenger seating. There are no visible signs, designated seating areas, or staff members actively directing passengers to appropriate seating locations.
As a result, passengers are freely using chairs and tables from common areas such as cafés and other shared spaces as personal seating. In some cases, a single passenger occupies four or five chairs at the same time, either by placing personal belongings on them or simply reserving them for themselves. This significantly reduces the number of seats available to other passengers and creates an unfair and uncomfortable environment.
This situation is particularly problematic during busy periods, when passengers may have difficulty finding even a single available seat while several seats are being occupied by one person. Shared seating areas should not effectively become privately reserved spaces without any control or intervention from the crew.
I believe this is not an acceptable standard for passenger management and should be addressed systematically.
The ship should have a clear and visible passenger seating policy, including:
* Clearly designated passenger seating areas.
* Clear signage indicating that seats in common areas are shared and cannot be reserved by individuals.
* Staff/crew actively monitoring common areas during busy periods.
* A reasonable “one passenger, one seat” principle unless additional seating is genuinely required.
* Clear guidance on the use of café and restaurant seating by passengers who are not using those services.
* Intervention by crew members when passengers occupy excessive numbers of seats or attempt to reserve shared seating for extended periods.
* Better planning of the total seating capacity according to passenger numbers, particularly during peak travel times.
Passenger comfort is not only about the physical quality of the ship; it is also about how effectively the available space is managed. At present, the lack of seating organization creates unnecessary inconvenience, unfairness between passengers, and a generally chaotic atmosphere.
I strongly recommend that the operator review and improve the passenger seating management process. A clear seating policy, visible communication, and active crew supervision would significantly improve the overall passenger experience.
Overall, the current seating management is below an acceptable passenger service standard and requires immediate improvement.
