Service excellent. Install and ease of the transaction helped in making the decision to use FDW in Crystal Lake. All expectations met!! Will recommend to everyone!

From the beginning to the end of project FDW did a great job. Ashley was phenomenal in helping us pick out the right style of carpet to the perfect color. She came onsite to see and measure and again everything was spot on. The job amounted to just over 1,000 square feet and required a lot of furniture moves. The crew of 3 did an amazing job and never sat around. It took just under 5 hours and included lots of detail work and stairs. It all came out flawless. Would I use FDW again?Absolutely! Very high quality job. Thank you.

I have been a customer for years now, and highly recommend FDW Carpet One Floor & Home without hesitation. They've installed both wood floors and carpet throughout my home and I couldn't be more pleased. Both Ashley and Brian are a pleasure to work with, always available to answer my questions and provide flooring advice. I recently had to replace some carpeting quickly, so I called them up, Brian came out to measure and I had my carpet installed within the week. Additionally, their installers are very professional, do a great job, and always leave my home spotless.

The crew was great! Very helpful in moving some furniture to make it easier. The carpet looks great. Only thing to make it even better would be to better vacuum up the areas around the baseboards, as I had to follow up with vacuuming each room so that all the small pieces leftover from the trimming would be gone. Overall a job well done!

From the purchase in store to the installation - everyone was super friendly and easy to work with. The installers were here for 12 hours installing carpet in 4 bedrooms, a hallway and stairs. They moved furniture with caution and care. The only complaint - they put the master bed back together backwards - no one's perfect.

I needed a bedroom carpet replaced fast! I went into the store 30 minutes before closing time, found a remant that would work, and was able to have it delivered and installed the day after! The installers were great and did a fantastic job! I would highly recommend them!
