we recently sold our house in Spain to relocate back to the UK, this company was amazing. We were kept well informed about every procedure, how it worked and all the staff we spoke to were so helpful and friendly. A very professional company and we would have no hesitation at all in recommending their services.

The website is outdated, so according to the website info, I thought one of their service is available, I filled all the information and send them copies of my bank statement and ID card. However, after long time they told me the service is no longer available. They could have show the information when I filling the on-line form already, apparently the system is not up to date by their maintenance and backstage engineer.

The worst situation came later, I request them to delete my personal data from their end according to GDPR, they promised to do so. Yet after 1 email sent and 3 times of calling. They still haven't done so. I feel they are kind of fraud company being honest.

Hope this review can raise an alarm for people who is considering FC exchange.

I have recently used F.C. Exchange to transfer currency into the UK following a property sale. Lauren was my allocated broker. She was easy to contact, extremely helpful and was able to answer any questions I had. The currency transaction was completed quickly and without any problems. I would definitely use this company again.

Used them first time on the 8th February. Sending funds to Cyprus for purchasing a property.
First time it got to my lawyer it was shortfall , Then second time Again shortfall.Wasnt told that the bank in Cyprus would charge us for doing the transaction into Euros from sterling .wouldnt use again.Please be aware if sending money for property purchase As there are hidden charges and F.C. Echange will not tell you this .

Very patient staff (especially Sam Edmanson) who understood my needs and talked thought the best way to pay for and transfer funds efficiently. Recommended by Money Saving Expert as one of the best currency exchange companies and I fully concur with this. Always available on the end of a phone or by email.

It's a total con, you do not get the rate on the live fc exchange site, or advertised as "amount received" on comparison sites. They say no fees, but clearly take a hidden fee. The guy on the phone gave me a classic sales approach. I guess some people are fooled by this. I received a much better rate from another company that was more transparent.

Excellent work done by Charlie. He called me directly in Australia to ensure that everything was taken care of directly. He was prompt with responding to my questions, and was professional. Very much put my mind at ease, especially in light of my concerns about exchanging such a large amount of money.
When the time came to make the transfer it was very quick; it arrived in my bank account in less than a day.
Highly recommended.

I have used FC Exchange and in particular Sam Edmanson, for a variety of fx transactions with great results. All staff/branches of the company are professional and strive to get the best rates for their customers, and I am pleased with the level of security and ease of use of the client account access online.

Very nice people, personal and patient. Although I don't reside in the UK, they called me. They explained the procedure and after registration we agreed on a rate. Next they send me a email confirmation. You then transfer the money. Although the money (in my case) was going through 3 different countries, I got my currency in 3-4 business days. I don't think it can be any simpler.

FC Exchange was favourably reviewed on compare websites so I tried them out. Opening an account online was very easy indeed. Telephone communications were professional and friendly to confirm my requirements. My call to deal was handled smoothly and professionally. I hadn't been expecting to negotiate a rate but ended up doing this when I turned down first rate offer. So, I recommend you have rate in mind when you call to deal. Once rate was agreed everything went through instantly. Very professional, very easy and I have no complaints whatever.

Great company to do business with if you control the envelope and agree terms. Streetwise is best,however if not they will still and sure look after you.

From beginning to end, the process of transferring over the proceeds of our house sale to Europe was very smooth.
