Farthing Electrical recently installed some external lighting for us. The initial install was completed efficiently and to an excellent standard. Unfortunately, one of the lighting units subsequently failed due to a manufacturing defect - There were absolutely no issues in arranging for installation of a replacement unit.

I have known James since 2018 when he came to wire my new extension, install a new fuse board, chandeliers and downlights. He has since then installed the electrics for my hot tub. Although this job is not his biggest he is very professional in his approach and ensures that the customer is comfortable with whichever solution works best. I will definitely use James and his team again. I consider him one of my most trusted traders!

James arrived in very short notice and sorted my tripped RDC board out within the hour.

James fitted a mesh Wi-Fi system in our house which has really helped improve Wi-Fi coverage. We had a couple of black spots before, but not now. James took the dimensions of the house and did a heat map to show where the mesh Wi-Fi nodes/discs would be most beneficial. He did a great job of fitting them and even the data cupboard looked very organised, neat and tidy when he had finished! Really happy with the result mesh Wi-Fi has given us and with the fitting job James did.

Farthing are innovative at quoting work and excellent at communicating through quote to invoice stage. They are reliable and the quality of the work is excellent.

Farthing electrical re-wired our entire house as part of a wider renovation project.
