We 'discovered' Farmstyle Insurance after hearing about them on Tim Thomson's Farm Learning YouTube channel. The film mentioned that some so called farm insurers don't deal well with hobby farms and end up over insuring them or simply charging them too much because they don't want to deal with such clients. How pleased were we to discover that Farmstyle is everything it purports to be. A friendly team dedicated to insuring small hobby farms. The quote was significantly less than the other insurer we'd used and had a lot more inclusions. The online quote form was easy to use and clearly demonstrated that Farmstyle understand their client base. We signed up for 12 months insurance immediately. Haven't had to make any claims yet so can't comment on that aspect but we have no reason to doubt they'll be a delight to work with.

I like the efficient yet friendly manner in which my queries were handled before taking out our farm policy. The total cost of the policy was very competitive compared with our previous insurer, and while I hope to never have to make a claim, with insurance companies the proof of the pudding is how they handle and settle claims should such a situation arise.

Easy to use on line estimator, easy to change and update quote to add or change items. Price was very competitive. Perfect policy for small hobby farms that need cover but dont need big farm cover and price.

Simple easy to apply and competitive rates

I got a Farmstyle Insurance brochure at the Moss Vale Small Farms Day, and I did say that we were insured but I will look at you when our insurance was due.
When we received our insurance renewal, I was unhappy with it. It had gone up dramatically. We had been using this company for many years, initially through a broker and the last few years I have dealt with them directly. I guess loyalty does not count with some companies these days. My shock made me have a look at Farmstyle Insurance.
I provided our property details and requested a quote. Farmstyle Insurance got back to me quickly and wanted some more details. I thought this was good on their part wanting extra information. Once these were provided, I had a quote on the same day. The quote was $2866 less than the other insurance company. I changed without any hesitation.
Farmstyle Insurance is backed by QBE Insurance, and this gave me more confidence in this company.
My experience with the Farmstyle Insurance Team, particularly Tamara was excellent. Tamara was thorough and quick to respond. Nothing was a hassle.
I highly recommend you get a quote from them before paying your insurance with your current insurer.
