Farmfoods, a Scottish family business, has served Great Britain for over 60 years. From a butcher shop in Aberdeen we have grown to more than 300 stores and four distribution centres nationwide. We work hard to bring you the best value on the food your family enjoys and on the household essentials your family needs. In addition to frozen food we sell groceries, chilled foods, bread, milk, fresh fruit and vegetables along with a range of household items. Across our ranges you will find the brands you know and trust at prices you will love. Our specialism is frozen food and we believe passionately that frozen food is the best solution for most family meals. Our exclusive label chicken, beef, turkey, lamb, pork, fish and vegetables are all as fresh as the day they were frozen and because there is almost zero waste, great value too. We are a family business and our owners work in and lead our business every day. We think, particularly in today’s corporate world, this is a real strength. We are a diverse team of around 4,000 people who share a passion for getting a great job done. Whether they work in a distribution centre, a retail shop or an office, Farmfoods people are trusted to take responsibility for their work and to have control of delivering a great value, simple and friendly operation.

. I had a very disappointing experience at Farmood in Heath Town, Wolverhampton. I purchased eggs from this store and later discovered they were mouldy, which is a serious health and safety concern. With a baby at home, consuming these eggs could have put my child's health at risk. When I returned to report the issue, the manager behaved unprofessionally and did not handle my complaint properly. Even more concerning, I noticed there were still mouldy eggs on the shelves being offered for sale. This is unacceptable and shows a lack of proper food safety standards. I hope the store takes this matter seriously and improves their quality control to protect its customers.

We had a flyer posted through our door for farmfoods Weston Super Mare. We hadn't been in for years, got there, and the stock was empty, and they did not have what we wanted; most freezers were empty.
We were told by 2 members of staff to come back the following morning, but we got there and nothing had changed even after ringing the store and being told yes, it was definitely in stock and to come to the store.
It is a shame but we will stick with the food warehouse or Iceland as it is owned by much better stocked.

I shop at farmfoods on ward gate way pretty regularly, the shop is generally well stocked with a very good variety of things...the prices are very competitive. The staff are very helpful and go above and beyond. The shop is very clean and tidy..

I shop here every month and look forward to the discount as its a big shop for me. Today I did another shop and no vouchers attached to any of the recent emails received so had to pay the full amount. Even the shop assistant tried to help finding the vouchers but got nothing. Very disappointed.

The shops are spacious & cool, the SHOP staff are extremely quick, helpful & amusing, best staff ever (along with Heron Foods staff), the products are MOSTLY good & are nearly all well-priced – but what lets it down, & in a big way, is that, when you very occasionally come across an awful product & let them know online, it takes 20 minutes of repeatedly trying to get past the "I'm not robot" thing (thus strongly implying they don't really want to hear from customers) & if you actually manage to get your complaint Submitted, then the staff who reply clearly don't read all that you've put & just bizarrely+illogically say they'll ask the manufacturer! (oh & offer to send you a voucher to the address that you din't give, which they didn't notice cos they barely read your complaint) - asking a manufacturer about its own bad product is obviously like asking a caught-out thief to report on the status of his own honesty, so as I say, bizarre & illogical.
Update after Farmfoods' reply, which reader will see below –
Thank you to Farmfoods for withdrawing from sale the 1 awful product, after my second complaint which included threats to take the matter to regulatory bodies & the press.
Obviously it shouldn't've been necessary to make such threats, nor did I at all enjoy having had to do so!
So it's good that Farmfoods had internally addressed its customer complaints procedural problem, presumably to try to ensure that this attitude doesn't happen again.
As I say, the shop itself is wonderful, & in many years I've only ever come cross this 1 bad product, that had to be withdrawn from sale.
& hopefully now Farmfoods' online customer services will have improved.

This shop is very well stocked, with all the weekly offers, this shop is not my local store as my local store never has much stock or any of the offers.
The manager (Rachael) and all the staff are very helpful!!
Credit where credit is due 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Walked out of the store today in Ellesmere Port. Waited for 5 minutes for someone to come to the till as the queue grew in size. Completely unacceptable. Often there is only one checkout open with a long queue.

Yardley Farmfoods Birmingham went in today a very rude new supervisor called Zara shockingly wearing a manager top. She was shouting rude at all customers. Just as I put all my shopping on the till belt. She said card only I politely said I wish you had said before she said three times moron and attacked me remember court and police action could be brought into force. All the old staff and managers gone new staff some with totally bad attitudes.

I would also like to rate your Lyon's fig rolls, they are the best with plenty of fig filling, I've had other brands but Lyon's are more tasty.

Honestly the Gravesend store has really gone down hill over the last few months. Product availability absolutely shocking across all product lines, regularly feels like a shop on the last few days of a closing down sale. Seems a lot of new staff too some of whom are quite rude. Also rarely see the special deals that pop on social media in this store. Used to love Farmfoods. Now it’s a waste of time going in there…

I have been shopping in Farm foods for many years they are fantastic value and as a bonus they even give you money off vouchers without ant hassle if you sign up for their emails they have fantastic offers if you are prepared to buy in bulk.Great deals on frozen chicken i bought 5 kg of fillets for £3 a kg less 9% using a voucher butter 250 g 99p, bacon always very cheap king prawns work to about £8.23 a kg uncooked if you spend £ 28 using a £2 voucher ,the general supermarket price is £20 per KG , toilet rolls are also a great deal and much more I have saved loads of money over the years you don't always get the best deal if they sell out but that is because the deals are so good and there is no restriction on what you can buy.
You can save loads shopping here and have a better quality of food if you are prepared to shop in bulk.I have no connection to this shop other than being a committed customer who has saved loads of money stay out of the large supermarkets shop here also the staff are always interested friendly and helpful.

I went to farmfood Enfield to get some water but i couldn't find any do a staff member of staff was near me so I asked him, his name is Subir (I hope i wrote his name right) .
Subir was really kind and told me it was a fire in the warehouse that was the reason they had any water ...
I told him that I was coming all the way from an other area just for water...Subir kindly when he heard this, offered me to take a 40 pack bottle of water which meant to be for him to take home ...
I found this really really really kind and it did mean a lot to me .
Thank you so much Subir much appreciated

Just tried the farm foods crispy battered chicken burgers. Absolutely disgusting. Imagine a chicken burger the size and thickness of a round biscuit, doesn’t taste much like chicken and is so chewy I had thoughts of s dog chewing a tennis ball with every bite. I’ve half eaten one, the rest will go in the bin.

After not being able to buy 7 day specials for a month I complained and I was told that things would improve
Lo and behold nothing has changed.
3 days into a 7 day special and no stock on the shelves.
I contacted customer services who referred it to the area manager who returned the call but had a very nonchalant attitude. He confirmed it is the store managers responsibility to order promotional stock up to a week or more in advance, so no excuse for having empty shelves of promotional items.
It's false advertising at its worst, getting customers to use their time and travel expenses for something they cannot buy.
This particular store is on School Brow in Warrington.
Do not bother going there for promotional products because they don't order any.
