They keep getting the time and dates wrong on images and videos once you've download it from them. This happens to all Android devices, which over 70% of the world has, and all PC and laptops , which over 50% of adults worldwide have.
They can't fix it and simply told me this when i told them -
"Thank you for your recent inquiry to FamilyAlbum Customer Support.
We’re sorry for the inconvenience. On Android devices, photos and videos may appear under the date recognized by the operating system, such as the download date.
We understand this may not be ideal, but you can also view your photos and videos directly in the FamilyAlbum app without downloading them to your device.
If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to contact us again."
So, you have to view it online and through their app to get the right time or date on the images or vids. You can't download them from the app and get the times and dates correct, it will not let you. It's utterly pointless using this till they fix the simple things like getting the time and/or date right for the worlds most popular devices, and why they haven't done it and made it compatible is simply incredible. There are other free image and video sharing apps for your family out there that work perfectly well. We have tried 3 different phones, 3 different PC's and laptops and 3 different galleries trying to make this app work, but NONE have worked. Use a different app if you don't want to be left seriously annoyed.
