My experience with FairClaims / FCR Services LLC has been extremely disappointing.
I hired FairClaims for a roof replacement in November 2024 and paid in full based on their intentional misrepresentations, including upgraded GAF products, ventilation improvements, warranty coverage, and a Maintenance and Service Agreement. More than a year and a half later, the project remains incomplete, and contracted work is still outstanding.
I selected FairClaims in part because they are represented as a GAF Master Elite contractor. Most people do not watch their roof installation, so they only see the finished product without any idea if it was installed properly.
Unfortunately, the issues remain unresolved. The Intakepro ventilation system appears to have significant installation concerns. The Cobra 3" Z Ridge Vents are partially blocked, and the vent openings appear inconsistent in size. FairClaims has refused to correct these issues.
There are also concerns regarding the installation conditions.
The crew installed shingles while they were wet and while the roof underlayment was wet during light rain. I objected to installing materials under those conditions, but my concerns were dismissed. I also paid additional amounts for upgraded warranty protection and service agreements. They failed to honor the warranty and complete numerous outstanding work.
My position remains straightforward: FairClaims should demonstrate that the work shown in the photographs complies with GAF installation requirements and the contracted standards,
The photographs provide a clear record of the condition of the work that remains unresolved due ti inproer installation. FairClaims has not corrected the documented issues or completed the work it was paid to perform. Instead, they proposed an unreasonable credit arrangement that would not even cover paying another contractor to finish and correct work already paid in full in 2025.
After exhausting good-faith efforts to resolve this directly with FairClaims and GAF, I intend to pursue available remedies, including claims for breach of contract and violations of the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act (DTPA), as well as filing appropriate complaints with applicable organizations. I was also advised to file a theft report, because I can show intent and this would be a felony based on the amount.
Consumers should carefully research contractors, warranties, and what protections actually exist before relying on a contractors certifications or designations. Consumers should film or watch the entire installation process. No matter what Fairclaims / FCR Services states, the photos say it all! (See photos)

FairClaims Roofing / FCR Services recently made a settlement offer based on an amount I proposed in 2025. At the time I made that proposal, I had not yet consulted with an attorney and was not fully aware of my legal rights.
My offer was made in good faith in an effort to resolve this dispute. FairClaims did not accept or respond to that proposal at the time, the company ghosted me for over a year. The amount I offered would not even cover the cost of correcting the installation deficiencies & hiring qualified contractors to complete the outstanding work that FairClaims was paid to perform. FairClaims requested mediation, and I responded with a good-faith settlement proposal in the hope of resolving this matter.
If Fairclaims Roofing / FCR Services is a honest company, they would want to do right thing, They would agree to a fair and reasonable settlement: 1) refund for work they failed to do and incorrect installation 2) cover all repairs and all outstanding work, however, based on the unreasonable settlement offer I recently received, I do not believe that their request for mediation was made in good faith to resolve this dispute, If this matter proceeds to litigation, when I am successful, I intend to seek all damages and remedies available under applicable law, including attorney's fees, costs, and any other relief authorized by law including RCAT and DTPA claims.
