Overall - Excellent
Over many years I have received excellent services from facultybooks.com. At one point there was confusion, and an error, in pricing of books - that was readily taken care of with a phone call. Over 15+ years the service has otherwise been superb.

Give bonuses to old customers as well as new
I have been annoyed at being left out of bonus incentives. I sell elsewhere instead of Faculty Books, because I receive several notices a year offering 10% and 15% bonuses to new members only. As a faithful repeat customer, I believe I have earned and should receive a bonus at same time "new customer incentive bonus" is offered. This is why I have researched and trade with other book buyers.

Often worth it.
After accounting for fees and other costs, I find it is often worth selling to Faculty Books rather than on Amazon.

There always seems to be issues with a book on their end. The book was bent in shipping. Other faculty members have had orders that were never received.

Great Company-One Complaint
I have been conducting business with facultybooks for well over a decade and have been very pleased with the service, particularly the turnaround time involved in processing orders. Although I give the company a five-star rating, I have one long standing and one minor complaint: the long-standing complaint is that from time to time I am informed that several books in my shipment were "damaged" or otherwise defective. I have always been careful to include only pristine copies of books in my shipment (no used copies or books with bent pages, etc,) I have taken offense to such evaluations- my second complaint: I hate the new website because it is difficult to negotiate!

The turnaround time is good, but they had a promotion which provided an extra percentage on top of your book sale. I did not receive the extra amount when I received payment.

Great!
Lots of titles accepted, quick turnaround time from shipment to direct deposit. Book evaluations (new vs. used) are fair and reasonable. Of course, I still have books they won't take, so it would be nice if they accepted even more, but they can't accept every book out there, can they? Conduct business with assurance.
