We are confused by the cooking instructions for microwaving the meals.Are the meals to be thawed out are kept out of the freezer after we receive them?

The delivery times are all over the…

The delivery times are all over the place. Some weeks they get here early morning and the food is still cold. But this most recent delivery hasn't been arrived yet and I'm afraid I'll be asleep before it does. This service is too expensive to have food come so late in the day where the insulation is already melting, esp when it's hot outside

Please know that our delivery window is between 8 AM and 8 PM, and while we strive to ensure timely deliveries, occasional delays can happen. Our meals are shipped in insulated boxes with gel packs designed to keep them at safe refrigerated temperatures during transit. It’s normal for gel packs to be partially melted upon arrival, as they release cold air to maintain temperature. Each meal also includes an “Enjoy By” date for guidance on freshness.

For safety, meals should arrive at 41°F or below—if you ever receive meals above this temperature, we recommend discarding them and contacting our Customer Experience Team for assistance.

The meals are great

The meals are great. Jitsu takes all day though, and sometimes they deliver at 1030 am and sometimes at 4 pm. And I have had the Jitsu driver slam my boxes down a few times.

How is factor?

Delivery is packaged well, but drivers are dumb and can't tell which end is up. Meals are OK, nothing to write home about. Not sure what you all seal the meal plastic with, but I need a blow torch and pliers just to get them open, even after heating.

The order was delivered really late in…

The order was delivered really late in the day so most of the packaging was wet which I didn't really like.

It is a convenient service and meals…

It is a convenient service and meals are easy to heat up. The meals are pretty good but get repetitive after a while. A lot of the meals use the same ingredients. You can change your order online but if you forget, you will get what they preselect. I wish there was a way to permanently remove certain meals so they do not get pre-selected. I had a few shipped that I really do not like.

We want you to know our chefs are creating new and different meals regularly and improving old favorites! Our teams receive your feedback and take it into account as they develop or improve meals (and add-ons)! We hope you'll keep an eye out for different options hitting the menus each week!

Additionally, you can make changes to your account and orders by Wednesday at 11:59 pm CT, one week prior to the delivery day. You always have up until this time to pick meals or skip the order if you don't need meals the following week! There will always be five weeks of menus for you to view and change at a time.

Also, please know that you can choose from any meals from the menu. If you do not choose your meals, our system will assemble a selection of meals within your preference, High Protein in your case! We appreciate you taking the time to rate us! Thank you for being the best part of Factor!

Quick and Easy

The ease of the food coming to the door. Quick to prepare in microwave. The food is tasty. A few dishes I did not care for but still edible.

Good food makes life a little easier

Like: The ease of ordering, the quality and taste of the food, the food is packaged well and stays cold for hours, when I am not home to bring in immediately. I can pause a week delivery with ease.

Dislike: While there is a good number of choices, I don't care for most (only because I don't eat seafood and some spices or mushrooms.) It limits what I can order. The premium meals are good, but I think a bit expensive (for my budget). I would order the salads again, but the lettuce was often, wilted and droopy. The boxes say don't recommend freezing so I can't over order or I will have to throw out food.

Overall, I like the food and the service. It makes life a little easier.

We do not trust this companies business…

We do not trust this companies business practices.
We bought a gift card for a single man raising his 7 year old daughter. He works all day, making it challenging to get good meals.
So they picked out their meals the first week. The package of food came to our house, not the family in need. We let them know and we're sorry for the system glitch. The next week, we get another box of food. We contact them again ... Silence.
This week they are trying again to send us food.
The sad thing is we have enjoyed the food, but we will never order from this company with fraudulent business practices.
Good luck dealing with their poor service and force feeding without authorization.

My order was scheduled for Monday

My order was scheduled for Monday, it was delivered on the day before and the package stay outside on my porch in the heat for over six hours. Because of the early delivery, no one was home at that time to get it. When opened, the food was at an unsafe temperature and had to be disposed. The cool packs that were inside were melted and saturated with the liquid used inside. Total waste of the food.

Happy that I started using this.

I have been using Factor meals for almost a year now. No complaints.
The Customer service is very good and helpful when i needed them.
I really like knowing that I have a ready meal every day and always something different. A great thing for one person.
