Ezviz is the worst

Ezviz is the worst. so called security camera, if not pay their subscription, the camera is worthless as security camera. only save to SD card, the card needs to be removed to delete videos. going to do this ever week? such a stupid company.

I have asked to cancel my subscription…

I have asked to cancel my subscription six times ( three through email and three on the app ). All I get is automated responses and a phone number that does not work. They continue to charge my credit card. Stay away from this company.

Very Poor Experience with EZVIZ

Very Poor Experience with EZVIZ – Unqualified Support and No Real Warranty

Unfortunately, my experience with EZVIZ security cameras has been extremely disappointing. The company lacks a trained technical support team — all they do is send the same firmware files over and over, with no genuine attempt to resolve issues.

Even worse, there's no fixed office or reliable customer service in the UK or Europe, which means there's essentially no warranty or any practical way to return a faulty product.

If you're considering buying a smart home camera or security system, I strongly advise looking elsewhere. There are far better brands out there with real after-sales support, reliable customer service, and functioning warranty policies.

Avoid EZVIZ if you value your time, money, and peace of mind.

This people are scams they rob you money from you card be careful the are a rip off robin b s tars please be careful I buy a camera and I use the cloud for 4:95 now they one too charge 10 pounds no en euros en pounds and the camera don’t wok the camera is mine if I am not happy with te paimen why they turnoff my camera becarefull don buy this product they rob you money

If you lose the box

If you lose the box, you lose the camera. I used to use Tapo, which has a flawless pairing experience and I thought about trying Ezviz for the first time not knowing how important the "box" is, all went fine at first, I paired it using the sticker at the bottom, but over the time the sticker was erased and now I am stuck with a camera that won't work because the verification code was erased.

the camera does not connect and the assistance is not able to solve. i'm going back to the store to change it with another product.

My Experience with EZVIZ

My Experience with EZVIZ – Important Warning for Consumers ⚠️

Unfortunately, I had a very bad experience with EZVIZ after purchasing one of their products.
The issue started a while ago and still remains unresolved.

🔹 Unprofessional technical support
🔹 Inconsistent and unclear responses
🔹 My complaint was ignored for a long time
🔹 Many promises with no follow-through
🔹 Even on weekends, I received replies despite them claiming they don’t work then!

If you're considering buying a product from this company, I strongly urge you to think twice.
We, as consumers, deserve respectful service from a company that claims to be professional.

The product itself is okay and performs…

The product itself is okay and performs as expected. However, if you ever face a problem, abandon all hope of meaningful assistance from their customer service. My agonizing five-month siege with their live chat and email support, exclusively run by what seemed to be Indian personnel—including their sham 'senior' technicians—was not just an insult to my intelligence, but a colossal, soul-crushing waste of every single moment. They proved to be catastrophically useless, endlessly regurgitating the same questions in a futile cycle without a shred of progress. I ultimately surrendered, realizing their support infrastructure was fundamentally broken and utterly incapable of resolving anything.

DB1C - unstable product.

I use the doorbell DB1C of Ezviz for the last year or so. Product is very unstable and interface is not the most user-friendly. Yet, real problems start when you try to integrate it into Alexa or/ and Home Assistant.

I spent hours trying to configure it for the very basic functions of rtsp, and then extra hours to speak to their useless product support. 4 agents had no clue, kept giving me confusing advises. Apparently, to make this camera use rtsp, I need to install Windows SW Ezviz Studio (??) , which needs to be further modified in *.ini file to give me access to advanced mode (can you believe it?) . But event this option did not work, and at the end they asked me for my e-mail address to put me in contact with the second line of support.

Easier and cheaper to buy more reliable brand with better support.

My second saga of Ezviz took place with their door lock, and after months of struggling I just wasted it into the garbage bin. Ezviz? Never again.

horrible customer service

horrible customer service. refused to honor warranty and asked me to buy other devices to try and prove me wrong. gave me the run around and then acted like i didn't send pictures and proof. 30 emails later and still no resolution. basically gave me the run around until i gave up.

Continued Excellent Support - Thanks to Milan (Customer Service Agent)

I dropped my phone and made mince meat of it. Due to that, I tried to connect my phone downloading the EZVIZ app to the cameras but no success. ONE PHONE CALL LATER and thanks to crystal clear, instructions from MILAN, both cameras are back up and running. Cameras are fantastic and the footage has assisted the Garda (Irish Law Enforcement Agency) to arrest and prosecute criminals. Quality is superd.

Micky mouse company

Bought a camera and base station last week. The base station is not working - completely frozen. Their customer service told me to buy an SD card reader to download the firmware update and install it onto the base unit. That didn't work. 5 days worth of emails back and forth with what seems to be a one man operation, an Asian man called Norman. Only for him to tell me to speak to Amazon.

Amazon have advised me that, because I have bought it via a third party seller, it's EZVIZ's responsibility. "Norman" then told me he would have to refer it to his manager.

During every conversation, his "manager" was on a live chat with him. But when I asked for an instant answer, I was told that I would have to wait a further 24hrs for a response.

It's a micky mouse operation.

Ezviz 2.5k camera and light

Ezviz 2.5k camera and light. Pathetic first one went back would not receive wifi despite having put a mesh box within 12 inches. 2nd one only just received wifi signal control interface is useless, despite how I set it up it seems to have a mind of its own. I have it mounted next to a side door and the camera cannot be angled enough to see down the pathway. When the light is set to recognise humans it doesn't come on until yo are on top of the camera. No matter what setting you have it is extremely slow to warn you of anyone's presence ie if someone comes through the door they are in the living room before it alarms. Absolute waste of money.

I bought an EZVIZ camera and the hardware works well, but the ezvizlife.com platform and app are incredibly frustrating to use. The software is anything but user-friendly—basic settings are scattered in random places, and you often have to dig through unrelated menus to find what you need. Many functions are buried under vague or misleading labels, making setup and daily use way more difficult than it should be. A solid product is being held back by poorly designed, confusing software. Very disappointed.

The product is good but the software is…

The product is good but the software is terrible and not at all clear. Instead of finding everything in the "settings", you have to search a bit here and a bit there and many functions are under words that have nothing to do with it. A tip: go to Google and ask a question: with artificial intelligence you can get there. Once you are accustomed no problems! Furthermore, the recordings, even if set to the lowest definition, use a lot of memory, with 20 GB of memory you cover a week of clips/movements. Ok, this is not a big problem but they could reduce the definition further more.

Ezviz Customer Deterrence Service

I'd leave no stars if possible. They don't care once you've parted with your money. I asked a simple question and have had multiple replies, all of which suggest that the authors, always different people, haven't read or understood what I'd asked. It's head against a brick wall kind of stuff and will eventually lose them custom. They've lost mine.

Absolute garbage

Absolute garbage. We changed our WiFi provider and had to reconfigure the CCTV cameras, which should be easy, right? Wrong!! We have to go up a double length ladder to press a microscopic reset button on the camera. Why can't the cameras be reset online?? The cameras simply won't reconnect. We've tried everything. Our WiFi is fine, cameras are showing connected but keep getting 'configuration error'. Extremely frustrating and dangerous. I will be cancelling my subscription and buying cameras that actually work

No USA phone number

There is no USA phone number to contact the company. A lot of the links for support in the app do not work. The company has not responded to multiple emails requesting help. The camera I installed kept losing connection with my network and had to be manually reset (on the bottom of the camera). Totally unacceptable in a real world application. The live view in the app kept disappearing.
I returned the camera.
