Absolute scam, don't use. They stole £44 from me, customer Service is AI. They don't offer refunds, only fake credit notes. the service is a SCAM.

The stole 50 dollars from me and made the website unavailable, I reachd out through whats app but they don't respond anymore.

SCAM.Very disappointing service. First 28$, they have done nothing. another 60$ i paid and they come back after one week saying i need to pay 178$ more to unlock the service. I have requested this service because i am out of the country i cant go to verizon office by myself. I have fully paid alredy the cost of my phone. expressunlock came back with the wrong information after one week asking 178$ more. this is a scam do not fall for it.

Should have been something for the fraud. This site is a total scam. The site initially said it will take 1hour to unlock and they charge £11.99. Just as I paid, there came another charge of £ 26. Unfortunately, I paid that as well. In an hour they said that EE has rejected the request and they have sent the request to Apple. And this will now take 4 days and 17 hours. I told them that Apple site says that the phone can only be unlocked by the provider, and asked for a refund. They sent a very long email, telling me that it’s not true. Apple can unlock. It just takes longer. And that this is not company policy to refund. Meanwhile, I went on EE website and got my phone unlocked within 5 seconds. Now my phone is up and running with the new sim and their site is still showing the remaining time 4 days and 12 hours. But now the site is not in English. It some language that I don’t understand. I have reported the site to action fraud.

Also note that most of their 5 star reviews sound ridiculously positive and come from accounts with only 1 review.

This is a scam website, designed to con you out of more than expected whilst providing no actual value in most cases.

The sales pitch is along the lines of ‘a couple of clicks and can will unlock your phone’.

However when you try is a bit of a bait and switch from one screen to the next. On the next screen the fee only covers the ‘eligibility checks’ for $29, which is mandatory, and then in a much lighter grey font the smallprint says they’ll charge you another $50 for the actual unlock if you are eligible to do it.

This has many issues over just the scammy design of the webpages:
1. The mandatory ‘eligibility checks’ are free on other websites
2. The ‘eligibility checks’ don’t actually check if your phone can be unlocked. If there are payments outstanding on the contract for example, the phone passes the checks but fails the actual unlock.
3. They will try to keep your money for both the $29 and $50 if your phone fails to be unlocked, instead issuing a credit note.
4. If your phone is actually eligible to be unlocked, then it would have been free to do it directly with the carrier.

The funny part is that as soon as you pay the $29, you receive an automated email explaining the scam. So many customers complain that they save time by just instantly telling you your been had and that you need to cough up the extra $50. They highlight with a screenshot the fine print you missed.

The sickening part is their efforts to try and gaslight you into thinking that they are a legitimate service. They really are relentless in this regard.

I got my $50 refunded in the end by calling them out and demanding it else I would escalate it to numerous online fraud agencies. I’m happy to leave the $29 as a lesson to myself to be more careful of scam websites in future.

Thought I was dealing with a division of AT&T as their logo is in their site. Seemed strange to have to pay a fee to see if I qualify to unlock my Samsung phone.
Paid it and then the next payment request of
$ 102.00 popped up. My wife looked at their site and said you have been scammed!!!
Turns out AT&T does this FREE!!! So sad that we seniors on a fixed income's are prey to scammers. Drop the AT&T logo on your site so we who use these seldom used services are not DUPED!!!!!!

Have never gotten issues, information is truthful and timely

Whilst unlocking was pretty easy and fast to do, don’t be fooled into thinking that it will only cost £11.99, as shown on clicking the unlock link. This £11.99 is to pay for step 1 only, the pre-unlock checks. Once complete, they then advise that the £11.99 is non-refundable and you are required to pay a further £26 to complete the unlock. Pretty sharp practice at best and far from transparent. This is apparently shown in the small print that I def saw no sight of throughout the process. I hate feeling ‘had’ which I most definitely now feel.
