I'm sorry I didn't google the reviews for this website before sending them my money. I was sent a code that didn't work and all I asked them to send me a refund is like they have an AI responding having me in circles. Now I ask for my refund they send me a different code. I don't need another code, I need my money back ASAP.

I told you to refund me back the $60

Hi — I’m really sorry this has been frustrating. I can see your order (placed 21 Aug 2025) is showing: Reported as Not Unlocked, waiting customer feedback. You’ve paid $28.99 for the Eligibility Check and $60 for the Standard Unlock.

A couple of important points from our terms:
- “An Android device is only able to be unlocked via a code if the device asks for an unlock code when an incompatible sim card is placed in the device.”
- “Eligibility Check: These checks are non-refundable.”
- “Incorrect Unlocking Code: If, having worked with our technician to get the code to work, and we cannot get the code to work, you'll be refunded.”

Your unlock code is: 6656211113413222

Please tell me one thing so I can help immediately:
1) Did your S24 Ultra prompt you to enter an unlock code when you inserted a non-T‑Mobile SIM? — If yes, try the code or I can get a technician to walk you through it now.
2) If it didn’t prompt for a code, the phone requires a Remote USB Unlock (additional fee) — would you like to upgrade to that?

If you want the tech to try the code with you now, say “Assist me” and I’ll arrange it.

I would be very wary of this

I would be very wary of this. The company do unlock your phone and provide a good service but a couple of days later, after receiving £10 back for leaving a positive review, my card was hacked and someone tried to take a lot of money out. I also got a phone call pretending to be my bank and offering to sort it out. When I finally did sort it out through the bank, they asked if I had used any unusual websites. This was the only one. You give them your bank details and phone number. So beware!

Hi — I’m Charlotte. I’m really sorry to hear about the card fraud and scam call — that sounds stressful.

Please note: as our Terms state, "Your purchase will appear on your card statements as Expressunlocks," and "We do not store customer payment card details, these are passed directly to our payment provider(s) for the purposes of payment only." (Terms 12.4). I recommend continuing to work with your bank and reporting the scam call to them.

To investigate your order and check any possible link, I’ll need your IMEI (or order number). In the absence of any reference we cannot address specific concerns. Please use the Live Support on your tracking page or reply with your IMEI/order number and I’ll look into it right away.

Hi — sorry to hear you feel let down. I can see your order from 20 Sep 2025: a €5.99 Network Check and a €28.99 Standard Unlock for an iPhone 16 Pro Max on a UK network, and the order status shows "Unlock Complete."

Please try the final iPhone steps listed in our terms: "iPhones: connecting the phone to WiFi and turning the phone off and then on;" If that doesn’t work, reply with any error messages or a short video/screenshot and I’ll personally check what’s happening and advise next steps. Note that if a Premium Service was required it would be shown in your order/status.

A couple of points from our policies to explain the charges: "Eligibility Check: These checks are non-refundable." and "Pre-orders, eligibility check, and unlocking costs are incurred immediately upon placing your order." This is absolutely scam

This is absolutely scam. I don’t want credit to your scam website . I want my fricking money back in my bank account !!!They literally have a department for refund trying to confuse the hell out of you so you don’t get a penny back or somehow they get to keep the money. They send you paragraphs after paragraphs of stupid policy garbage talk trying to work around keeping your money. They will get nothing done. They will keep offering more fees and fees and fees and nothing will be done. Stay away from this.
I am contacting all authorities and doing everything I know to take this scammer down. They took $93 already and now they want $174 more. In their website it says 100% guarantee unlock and instant. This is a complete lie they just want your money. This is just sick stuff like this exist.
They keep trying not to give you the money back no matter what. I will be contacting my bank if this is not resolved. Your service description does not meet your garbage follow up for a refund. You said don’t hundred percent guarantee and instant.

Update!
They will not give you the money back as they kept circling back with the same scam replies. They offer the service with 100% guarantee and they did not deliver that scam. I called my bank and reported a fraud. I will get my money back if they want or not these scammers suck

Hi — I’m Charlotte. I’m really sorry this has been so frustrating.

I can see your order placed on Sep 17, 2025 with status: "Unlock cancelled by client and full value credit note issued." That credit note covers your payments ($24.99 Eligibility Check + $68 Standard Unlock = $92.99).

Quick notes from our terms:
- "Standard Services which fail and which are not upgraded to Premium Service will be issued with a credit note only." (T&Cs 7.8)
- "Credit Notes can be used against any sim unlocking service... simply click 'Use Credit Note' on the checkout page when purchasing." (T&Cs 7.10)

While Eligibility Checks are usually non‑refundable, your order shows a full value credit note has been issued. I can either:
- Apply the credit now toward a Premium iPhone unlock for MetroPCS USA (if required), or
- Walk you through using the credit at checkout.

Tell me which you prefer and I’ll get it sorted right away.

This is a SCAM

This is a SCAM. Dont do it! you will pay for them to "check" if they can help you, then you will pay for the unlocking, then you will pay for extra premium service. Company only tells you that all this fine print and everything is explained in their terms and conditions ( which is very deceitful) it is purposefully done to steal your money.

Hi — I’m Charlotte, sorry you’ve had a bad impression.

A couple of things from our terms to explain why you may have been charged for checks: as our T&Cs state, "'Pre-orders' also referred to as 'Eligibility Checks' are not covered by our money back guarantee" and our Refund Policy also says "Eligibility Check: These checks are non-refundable." We do, however, refund in specific failure cases (for example: "Incorrect Unlocking Code", "Criteria Mismatch" and certain Premium/Remote USB failures) as set out in the Refund Policy.

I don’t have your IMEI or order details here — we need the IMEI to locate your order and properly investigate. In the absence of that reference we cannot address your specific concerns. Please use the Live Support link on your tracking page (or reply with your IMEI via Live Support) so we can review your case and try to make this right.

Misleading, exploitative service — avoid at all costs

I feel completely scammed by ExpressUnlocks. The website looks professional, but the way it’s set up is deliberately misleading. You’re shown one low “initial” price, only to be hit with another, much higher “final” payment once you’re already committed. At no point is this made clear upfront — it feels designed to trap you.

Hi — Charlotte here. I’m really sorry you feel that way and I understand how frustrating unexpected charges are.

To explain briefly: some orders start with an eligibility/pre-check and may require a further unlock payment. As our Terms state, “Pre-orders, eligibility check, and unlocking costs are incurred immediately upon placing your order. By clicking Credit/Debit Payment you wish for the order to be commenced immediately.” Also, “If you decide not to proceed with the unlocking payment, we cannot refund the cost of the Eligibility Checks…”.

I don’t have your IMEI or order details, so I can’t review your specific charges. Please use the Live Support link on your tracking page and provide your IMEI there so we can investigate, explain each charge, and find the best next step (credit note or further options).

Absolute con!

It's a con! I paid £14.99 in good faith and all this company did was carry out some "eligibility checks". Once these were complete they asked me for a further £30.00 to receive my unlock code! This is not made clear at the start so I was not expecting it.
I was about to request a refund but their refund policy states that they will not refund the cost of eligibility checks.
My advice would be to only use these people if you don't mind paying £45.00 for a network unlock code!

Hi — I’m Charlotte. I’m really sorry this has been frustrating.

I can see your order from 17 Sep 2025 shows you’ve paid the £14.99 Eligibility Check and it’s currently “Only paid for Eligibility Check, awaiting Unlocking Payment of £30.00.” Please note our policy: “Eligibility Check: These checks are non-refundable.” and “It is not possible to cancel your order once it is paid for.”

If you want the actual unlock, please initiate the £30.00 unlocking payment via your Tracking page. If a Premium Service is required for your iPhone, that will be shown in your status and would need to be paid in addition. If you’d like, I can walk you through the Tracking page steps or check what your status shows next. Hi — I’m really sorry you feel this way and I want to help.

Please note that some orders do require an extra service (for example upgrading to a Remote USB or Premium Service) — as our T&Cs state “There may be an additional price to pay for the sim unlock itself” and “It is not possible to cancel your order once it is paid for.” At the same time our Refund Policy does provide refunds in specific cases (for example “Premium Services which fail - both your Standard and Premium payments will be fully refunded” and “Remote USB Unlock: Refund is given if the service is incompatible or doesn't work”).

To investigate your case I need your IMEI or your order reference — without that we can’t look up what happened. Please use the Live Support link on your tracking page or reply with your IMEI/order number and I’ll get this sorted for you ASAP.

Hi — I’m really sorry this has been frustrating. I can help, but I need to check your specific order first.

Please note our terms state: "It is not possible to cancel your order once it is paid for." Also, sometimes an upgrade is required and "If your phone requires an upgrade (e.g., from Standard to Premium Service), any initial payments are non‑refundable." These are why extra payment requests can appear.

We don’t have your IMEI on file — without an IMEI we can’t locate your order to investigate. Please use the Live Support on your tracking page (or send your IMEI there) so we can review what happened and resolve this for you.

Hi — Charlotte here. I’m really sorry this was frustrating.

I can confirm from your order notes that the device “doesn't prompt for unlock code, unfortunately a remote USB unlock is not possible for this device.” Because of that, our terms apply: “Eligibility Check: These checks are non-refundable” and “Android phones which don't ask for a code, will be refunded in the form of a Credit Note…” (T&C 7.6). Also, “Standard Services which fail … will be issued with a credit note only” (T&C 7.8). A credit note has already been issued for your order placed 30 Aug 2025.

You can use the credit note at checkout by clicking “Use Credit Note” (T&C 7.10). If you’d like, I can help apply the credit to another unlock option or check alternative solutions for your ZTE MC801A1 on STC — tell me which device/network you want to target and I’ll look into it.

Again, I’m sorry for the hassle — I’m here to help get this resolved.
