Very bad experience!! Bought the ticket from expertos en vuelo and airline cancels ticket 2 days later. They did not help at all in resolving issue. They charge me a fee for nothing since the airline cancelled for no reason and expertosenvuelo kept the fee. Always buy directly from airline.

I am not a fan of travel agencies, but I trusted this one because they seemed nice and I didn't have time to sort out details myself. This was a mistake and I would never recommend them. I reserved a seat on an Avianca Airline plane flying out of El Salvador through them and regret it.

What they do have down-pact is their ability to steer away from clear issues with seemingly innocent and constructive verbiage, but this agency wants you to purchase and refuses to assist after.

I was charged additional fees (almost doubling the price of the actual flight itself) which they claimed were necessary for taxes, airport fees, etc. When I asked why that was they would only resort to "We are helping so you don't have to pay anything else out of pocket and for a smooth flight experience".

The representative took it upon themselves to supposedly purchase a specific seat number when that was never requested. I say supposedly because I was never given a seat number with my airline ticket and was simply given one at airport check-in.

When purchasing my ticket the representative did not book the flights exactly was were confirmed in the reservation (You make the reservation online and then have to speak with a representative confirm and actually purchase your ticket). My outbound ticket was changed without my consent and when brought up I was told that after a successful payment was made it would be looked into and changed (Wrong on my end to accept that BS, yes I know).

I was then charged $129 dollars to add a wheelchair and assistance to my reservation, which I later learned is a free service to the elderly and disabled upon request by the airport.

I was told that baggage at the airport would be "$30-$35" and that I could pay in person to make it simpler. Upon arriving at the airport I was made to pay $140 for my luggage. I was told by airport staff that this was an error on my end for coming in person to pay and that luggage should be paid for online or through an agency to avoid ridiculous in-person fees by the airport.

After going back and forth through numerous phone calls and e-mails, they were still not transparent with what I had paid for up until that point. I asked for an itemized receipt (because they only ever send payment confirmations) and they are refusing to send it.

Overall, this has been a horrible transaction and experience. I have an extreme amount of patients and I've dealt with bad agencies, but have never had an experience like this one. I would avoid them at att costs.

TLDR: Would not recommend to anyone, a lack of transparency, too many additional miscellaneous expenses, full on charged me for something that I came to learn was actually free, and after paying they don't really provide much customer service. If I had booked directly with the airline I would've saved myself money and headaches.

We were very well assisted by Jose Lopez, who was in charge of our case. He always was will to help us and provided us with different options; he was kind and patient. 5 stars to Jose.
the non-remarkable point: we purchased 9 tickets from the website based on price comparisons among different websites (it was the best option). once the purchase was complete (and so the charge on the credit card) we received a call, telling us 9 tickets purchase was a huge amount of seats, and the airline only had 7 seats available for the fare chosen, so we would have to upgrade the remaining 2 seats to executive (and final value would increase significantly).
We were offered with another flights options with no refund option. Finally we were forced to change our flight schedule with an increase in final value of almost USD900; it was two options: lose all the money (2787 USD) or change our plans and pay 30% more compared with initial vaue.
We felt almost scamed

First of all the process wasn't instantly. Yesterday I bought a flight but the process could not be completed. A person, Rovman, took my case and told me (via WhatsApp and phone) the fights had changed but the price remains being the same. Which is not true because I noticed that it had increased 50 USD. He called me and convinced me to agree the new price by mail. We hang out and 3 minutes later I changed my mind and wrote him via WhatsApp to cancel because I had found another flight 100 USD cheaper. He ignored my message, proceeded to booked it and then called me saying that the process cannot be canceled. We continued, made me a discount and now I have the tickets, but I still don't understand why it couldn't be canceled.
