Attempt to order online from HI is a waste of time

I tried to order online from the Exofficio website but because I'm in Hawaii, the site gave me an error message that the shipping method needs to be changed (I now see that they leave HI and AK out of their free shipping offers even though they're located nearby on the west coast - shameful), but there was no way to update the shipping information even if I were willing to pay extra. Therefore, I could not complete the transaction and they lost a sale. I also clicked the FIND YOUR LOCAL EXOFFICIO RETAILER link from their marketing email sent today, and it came back with the message "Sorry, the requested page was not found." Extremely lame for a retail site that sells expensive stuff. They need to fix the site to avoid wasting would-be customers' time.

Great Product & Service

I’ve been wearing their great travel underwear daily for years. They had a 30% sale plus free shipping.I thought they were offering additional savings if I signed up for their sales emails. I called customer service, they answered quickly, explained their offer, gave me an additional discount and ensured that I got the discount on the order placed after the call. I’m happy with the product and the service.

The website was problematic and customer service was not helpful.

The website showed that items were no longer available. Therefore, I ordered a different item. The website was glitching, so I thought I would look the next morning to see if the items were available. Both items were indeed available. I called customer service to purchase one of the items that I originally wanted and asked for it to be added to my initial order so I did not have to pay shipping again, especially since this was a website issue. The answer was "NO." What? If I wanted the item, I would have to pay shipping cost even though it was due to their website issues. I asked them to waive the fee, if they could not send the item with my original order and the answer was, NO. As noted in the other reviews, poor customer service. It's worth paying a little extra for good customer service and purchasing from a company that is reliable.

Item didn’t ship. Support unresponsive

The estimated shipping was very slow but I was willing to wait. It never shipped. I contacted them via email and they never replied. Their chat is offline. I called and sat on hold for 30 minutes with no answer. Every 30 seconds “thank you for your patience…”. I’m now trying to cancel my order but can’t get a hold of anyone.

Expensive, Falls apart, bad warranty support

- item seams completely fell apart before even 1.5yrs of normal use.
- Long time to get through to customer service.
- warranty requires for you to pay for shipping the defective item in
- they removed my 1 star review of the item for mentioning that you have to pay shipping on the warranty because apparently you can't mention anything about customer service at all in a review

I purchased 2 pairs of jeans from Ex…

I purchased 2 pairs of jeans from Ex Officio. They were absolute crap.

I have also made several other purchases of insect proof clothing. My experience is that several other manufacturers of travel clothing are far superior.

Don't fall for the deep discounts offered by Ex Officio.
