I am reconstructing the timeline of my destruction by Exetal so that others can measure the speed at which this scam operates. Week 1: A close friend mentions a man she met on a dating app. He is soft-spoken, intellectual. He claims to have written an algorithm that automates smart contract trading. Week 2: She shares his referral link. I am intrigued. I connect my Web3 wallet to the dApp and make a small deposit. The dashboard shows immediate, modest gains. Week 3: I test a withdrawal. It arrives in my wallet within hours. Confidence established. Week 4: I increase deposits. The dashboard performance strengthens. I deposit more. Week 5: My total deposits exceed $120,000. I decide to withdraw a significant portion. Day of Withdrawal Attempt: The withdrawal button does nothing. A banner appears: “Account Under Risk Review.” Days 1-7 Post-Lock: Silence. Support tickets go unanswered. Days 8-14 Post-Lock: Demands begin. First, a “tax liability” of 5% on my “gains.” I pay. Second, a “risk resolution contract” fee. I pay. Third, a “withdrawal processing node” fee. I pay. Day 15-Present: Account remains locked. Support is defunct. The dApp may still be active, targeting new users. My funds, traced on-chain, moved through a series of laundering wallets and into exchanges. Law enforcement response: a case number and silence. This entire lifecycle, from introduction to theft, took less than six weeks. Exetal is optimized for rapid extraction. Do not let them optimize yours. I was in a state of absolute despair, lashing out at everyone.
It is a mess. Then by some stroke of luck, I found = a'yRLP =. They are the only ones who can actually navigate this disaster. = a'yRLP = got the money back! They managed to retrieve every single penny when the authorities did nothing. I'm simply appalled that such scams are allowed to exist. It is ghastly.
