Total SCAM

Total SCAM! They signed me up the day after a massive surgery, 10 days after an accident (which I told the salesperson), under Executive Ranks... I called and cancelled 4.5 months later (and they say I didn't cancel because I don't have a cancellation confirmation email to prove it)?...I didn't know I needed one, which I'm sure was not a mistake either (that I didn't know I needed the email?!); while they at the same exact time changed the name to Advisory Cloud which both my husband and I thought was a "Storage Service - for data, work files, photos, etc in the Cloud" (because we had canceled Executive Ranks). Of course it was just a name change to a name that doesn't tie to their business at all "intended to confuse customers" that had been sucked into their Automatic monthly $200 charge. They owe me $2,000 and told me to go pound sand. What a group of awful, scamming people not using ethical business practices, they can answer in the afterlife.

Its a con job

Its a con job, period. I actually called several of the business "looking for directors" where I had applied, over half had never heard of ExecRanks. They said they did "due diligence" on the companies looking for directors, I do not think so, as I am a Due Diligence expert, and I perform my own research and found one of the companies recommended to me was run by a felon with multiple convictions.

WASTE OF TIME & MONEY - AND TIME CANNOT BE REPLACED!…

I spent good money and time to go through their "Program" and accrue courses and certificates. Nothing resulted and I finally said - enough is enough. Don't let your ego overstep your logic. WHERE are all the Director Jobs? Not here! AVOID - spend your money on upping your image - better business cards, promotional iitems - i.e.pens, flashlights, giveaways - you will be much farther ahead.

Zero Stars

If I could give them zero stars, I would. Do not waste your money on this scam. Whether it's called ExecRanks or Advisory Cloud, please avoid.

Avoid this black hole!

Spent a lot of time and money on this, and never got so much as an invitation to interview for anything. They are good at telemarketing, good at the follow-up call, and then everything falls off from there.

Fraudulent

They are a fraud. I paid $1900 and got absolutely nothing. Is there a group willing to form a suit. If so., I can be reached at 510-566-3426. Ed

Advisory Cloud warning

This is not a serious service and they do not deliver what they promise. Please do not use this platform expecting any opportunities related to board positions or intra consultations. I strongly believe (most of) the P2P inquiries are rigged.

Complete disappointment and let down

Complete disappointment and let down. I trusted this company and followed their guidance, I kept the service for well over 6 months and sent out resumes, they never matched me with a company who truly matched up with my experience. i called frustrated and did not want to continue the service but i did not talk to the cancellation department. I thought i had taken care of the account and cancelled the service. Months later i realized we were still getting charged. i called in and they said they had no record of the cancellation, I was a day out from another charge and they needed 15 days notice so i was out another $200. They said there was nothing they could do and was not willing to make any accommodation regardless of the account having zero activity.
I was told its like a gym membership, if i did not use it, it was my issue not theirs! I asked for one month credit at least and pleaded my case, they responded saying, nothing we can do. I asked if there was anyone i could talk to or is there anyone in the company that cares whatsoever about word of mouth? I was told she will send my complaint to management, that was the best she could do. At this point i would absolutely not recommend this company, they do not match you will with your skill set, they do not care about their clients success, and they do not care about their reputation! STAY CLEAR!!!

A total scam

A total scam. Exact same comments as others! So bad that they now have changed their name to Advisory Cloud. Don't be fooled. They'll take your money and you will get nothing out of it except busy work they keep telling you you have to do.

I have more than 25 years of international experience at a senior management level as well as four degrees and have established and managed marketing divisions of major financial services corporations. I have presented in 8 countries across 4 continents and worked with governments. Sadly I was very disappointed with this enterprise. I wasted two years and lots of money to gain no interviews and zero interest, from anyone.

With their very skillful marketing, I wish I could recommend it, but based on my experience, the opposite is true.

Do not use !!!!!

I was a member for 1 1/2 yrs. and never received any help or any leads. I have over 32yrs management experience and have spent my whole career coaching, training and leading others. I never got any help or contacts to do any type of consulting. I have done more on my own just from word of mouth and from people that I have worked with throughout my career. I was very disappointed with them to say the least.

Disappointing

Disappointing, to say the least. I had a call scheduled with them for 8 am and it never happened. My phone still works, so it was not me.

After reading all these reviews, I am glad they forgot to call.

God does help those who are good to Him!

Account cancellation policy and procedures reflect poor business strategy

For a service tailored to exceptional executives who are putting their name and expertise out for potential consultung oppoertunities, Execranks/Advisory Cloud has totally low class and unprofessional account services, especially for cancelling services.
- The telephone number displayed on their credit card debit info has been taken out of service
- Their customer service phone line is always backed up and they force you to leave a message for a call back
- Nowhere on their "my account" site do they offer any info on cancelling service
- The changed their business name with inadequate notification and no option to decline to continue service under the new name, site, services.
- The focus in making cancellation a challenge is obvious, not very classy and counter intuitive for the client base they are targeting.

Finally, the reason they make cancelling our accounts so difficult is because the bulk of their business traffic is exec's looking for consulting opportunities. So few of their paying customers are people looking to hire consultants, it reflects the same low class and ineffective business strategy/practices as their approach to retaining customers by making cancellation so difficult.

I believe this service is at risk and won't be a viable service, no longer recognized as a cost effective investment for experts looking to market their services.

Zero Value

Zero value. Was sold on a large network of companies looking for valuable consulting. Only opportunities were businesses asking how to 10x revenue in the next year. Finally canceled after a few months of no opportunities worth pursuing. Was informed they needed 15 or 20 days notice before the next billing cycle and I was still going to be charged this month. What a scam.

Do not waste your time or money.

One of the reviews is EXACTLY what…

One of the reviews is EXACTLY what happened to me. After months of being fully engaged I noticed the posting were primarily for P2P posting. This is NOT what I paid for over several months. Should have pulled the plug earlier. But I though because I’d been so busy it was my fault. Well, formerly ExecRanks, currently named AdvisoryCloud is in my opinion a scam if they sell you what they sold me and that is they will assist you in getting a paid board seat. They will not because after paying months and months of dues they only offered me a lower monthly due if I wanted to stay on. Wish they’d offered me the $50 per month instead of the $200 per month they took from me. At least my losses would have been less. No refund offered and none forthcoming. However after reading all of the same bad results I’ve now read from others, I hope they will read my displeasure and at least make it right with a refund to me. Meanwhile I am working my own contacts and networks to help myself accomplish what I entrusted someone else to help me with.

Stay Away or Beware of What they claim

This site is only a typical listings board. The fee is borne by both sides and is quite high considering there is no "assisted" service to connect the two parties. You are told at the beginning it takes 6 months for people to "find' you. At 5 months when I complained of no activity I learned I was supposed to be pursuing at the rate of 10 per month to achieve results.

It also carries a 15 day departure clause that states if you want to leave with less than 15 days left, they will charge you an entire extra month. I find the selling process to have misrepresented the real platform. Had I known it was all up to me, I would never have "joined" when in fact I was simply subscribing to a list service.

And the platform was not all that easy to use, either.

One star was generous.
