I bought Examzify's test prep for the ICC C1 Coastal and Floodplain Construction Exam. Compared to literally every other exam prep I've had for an ICC building code exam, Examzify's test prep is worthless. For every question they try to explain why the answer is what it is rather than the far more important WHERE CAN I FIND IT? Every ICC exam is open book, you need to know where the code section is and not memorize why the answer is whatever. All the reviews are bogus too. People taking this exam would already have two code certifications (one in commercial building codes and another in residential building codes). These people wouldn't be gushing over how "thought provoking" the material was. They wouldn't be talking about how the format kept it fun. They would be professional contractors and building inspectors. I left a 1 star review on their site and never saw it posted. I wonder why?

questions are wrong. the way creating the questions and also wrong answers. that opens the door ; for the questions you are not sure you r doing it right or wrong too. F.Instance: what happens if you fail to finish your continue education in real estate in florida..the answer is : license becomes null and void !!!!
i have immediately stopped working on this which started to happen over many questions .meaning that i can learn the wrong way too. damageful

My husband bought an extra test paper package for $10. Questions are same which are in the free test available online. Dont waste your money.
Feeling cheated, he is so disappointed.

The correct answers were largely correct, and if you're certain that one isn't (like I was with just one in particular after reading the boating manual for my state), you can report it, and the team will presumably try to fix it. They generally explain the correct answer well, and there are plenty of questions to practice with before the real test-- the boating practice I was doing had 400 questions, although I noticed a couple were duplicates. Extra practice isn't necessarily harmful, though, so I'd still consider the experience positive and helpful, especially with not having to deal with any kind of paywall, like many other websites I looked at had.

Please don't waste you money to buy any of their services. The questions were AI generated with very wrong answers and they are not even close to the examination style of questions
