Terrible customer service

I have used the EVYVE charging systems. Whilst i have had only one issue at the charger the main issue is their invoice generator. I have been trying to get copies of my invoices for months. I am a business customer and require VAT invoices. You cannot speak to anyone that can actually help. Their contact form and email is also a complete waste of time. No-one ever responds. If you can find another charging point do so because this company is useless

Requested a VAT invoice 5 times and sent 2 emails and called escalate but nothing.
Cant see how a response is so difficult

Extremely poor experience with evyve

Extremely poor experience with evyve. Their charging points appear to be completely outside their control. When I contacted customer support because I was unable to stop the charging session and disconnect my vehicle, all they could say was “we understand your frustration” — but they admitted there was nothing they could do.

As a result, my car remains plugged in and continues to charge without my permission, using more of my funds than I ever intended. This is unacceptable. If a charging provider cannot remotely stop a session or release a vehicle, that is a serious failure of service and consumer protection.

Public EV charging should not leave customers trapped, stressed, and financially exposed. Until evyve gains proper control over their chargers and empowers their support team to actually resolve issues, I would strongly advise avoiding them.

Terrible chargers

Terrible chargers -
They take £70 each time you try and charge and still don’t refund after 14 days even though they’ve taken the cost of the actual charge from your account separately!!!
They don’t answer emails and the people on the end of the helpline (when they eventually answer ) don’t understand your problem

Poor Customer Service, Do not recommend

Charged OK but have requested a VAT invoice 3 times and sent an email but nothing. Will never use one of these chargers again as there are so many better options that are much more efficient to use and instantly give you an invoice.

I need a VAT invoice and they're ignoring me

I need a VAT invoice. I’ve requested it 3 times, both via the Vat invoice generator on the website and by email. I called them and the woman said “not my area, send an email to info@“. They don’t respond to email. I’d have charged my car through the app if there was any frickin phone signal at the charger.

Stopped to charge, no charge, nonrefund

Stopped to charge. Billed me £45. Pressed start. Response was 'it has taken to long' I was then unable to charge the car. Had to drive off on 13%. They have not give me my money back. The phone number hangs up, they won't answer App Support, they won't answer emails. Do not use this company

Worse customer service

The charging point itself is good and convenient to use, but the aftercare is extremely poor. The people on the customer service line are rude and unhelpful, and no one responds to email, whether you're trying to raise an invoice or follow up on a complaint. This has been the worst customer service experience I have ever had. Because of this, I will never use their charging stations again.

Cable stuck in my car

Wanted to charge my car before a long journey just to be safe. Tried to plug my car into the charging machine at a pub car park and it didn't work so went in, had a drink and went back out to try again.
Still couldn't get the car to charge and the app was completely useless. I couldn't even determine which charging unit I was attached to.
The cable from the unit then got stuck in the car. I tried calling the company multiple times, they couldn't tell me; which machine I was attached to, whether they could send out an engineer, why the cable was stuck in the car. They were on Google telling me to find the emergency release in my car which doesn't exist and then suggested I disconnect the battery of the car.
Awful service, wouldn't listen to me, and didn't help solve the problem or give me any information I couldn't have found online myself.
I don't know whether it is good value or not but based on this experience I will not be using this company again and suggest others don't either.

I said that I am stuck to your machine and your machine is not recognising my car, what can you do about it? Can you remotely reset the machine, can you send out an engineer. All I was told was that the issue had been flagged...

£49 for 26kWh? Outrageous and Unresponsive

I was charged £49 for just 26kWh of electricity, which should have cost £14.30 at 55p per kWh. I’ve reached out multiple times for an explanation, but no one has replied to my queries. The complete lack of communication and transparency is unacceptable. Avoid this company if you value fair pricing and decent customer service.
