No one exists at Everything Fireplaces to resolve your issue.

Never got credit for returned item (grill). Never got resolution for wrong item (decorative frame). Never got warranty replacement for bad pilot line ( they didn’t understand product well enough to send correct part and simply gave up). I had to call Am Ex to resolve this. I’ve never done that with any purchase before. I’d give them a minus 5 if I could but 1 is the lowest allowed. Horrible place.

Fraudulent Company

I placed an order with Everything Fireplaces on Dec 12, 2022. The purchase was paid and I received email confirmation of the order. Shortly after, received another email indicating longer than expected shipping delays for the product. On Dec 20, 2022 I received email indicating the product would ship from the manufacturer. Due to the manufacturer taking the holidays off, the product would ship after Jan 6, 2023. On Jan 6, 2023 I received an email advising the order was being processed and I would receive a following email with shipment information and tracking Numbers. Jan 10, 2023: I emailed the company and spoke with a representative and later received email indicating the product would ship out in 2 weeks. Then on Jan 17, 2023, I received an email advising the order would ship that week (an exact shipping date was not know, but I would receive an email when it did ship).
On Feb 10, 2023, I spoke via telephone with a representative and was advised they could not advise when the product would ship. I requested to cancel the order and was advised to send an email requesting to cancel. I received an email the same day indicating the cancellation of the product and should receive my refund within 5-7 days. I did not receive my refund within 14 days and began to contact the company both through email and telephone communications. No email reply was received and all phone calls went to the company's automated system. After selecting the appropriate prompt, the phone just continuously rings. I have made 15 calls since then and selected different prompts with same continuous ringing. I have no other option to reach the company and I am at my wits end. It appears the company has either closed or in process of filing bankruptcy...

Pay attention to these bad reviews

Pay attention to these reviews. This company is awful and all the complaints listed about no communication and end arounds are true. Placed an order week after Christmas for in stock fireplace that 7 weeks later still has not been delivered even though it is in a distribution warehouse 40 miles from my home. They will lie to you and do everything but get you your product. Save yourself weeks of frustration and buy your products elsewhere as this is not a good company to work with.

I would not purchased anything from any…

I would not purchased anything from any everything fireplace. I placed an order with them on November 28, 2022 they advertise 10 to 14 working days. It wasn’t delivered anywhere‘s near that timeframe. It was delivered about 28 working days double what they promised. Everything fireplace customer service constantly gives you the runaround, they never return your calls when they say they will call you. Do not respond to emails. You cannot get a supervisor on the phone. ( Nicole.) they constantly tell you they will call you back, but never do I complain to one of the owners via email. He never got back to me until about a month later I started complaining about my order not being delivered properly on time. But it was already paid for. When I finally had enough of the runaround, I had to threaten them with legal action in order to move this order forwards. When I did that they placed my order again and the new order date is December 19 I didn’t receive the stove until January so if you’re willing to fight, yell scream argue with them, they’re very polite and nothing gets done. And after all of this happening, the stove came damaged. They quickly gave me replacement parts and shipped them to my house and now I have to pay to have those parts installed. So, as I stated in the beginning, I would not buy anything from everything fireplace.

Disgusted with the service and lies

Keep in mind today is 11/30/22. I've never met a more f up company in my life. On 10/19, I called and spoke to Kevin in sales. He explained to me exactly what I needed and HE suggested a fireplace kit. I called back the next day and placed the order. The item was delivered on 10/27. I called a local company for installation and they advised me I was missing parts (termination, fire stop and shield.) I called back and spoke to Nicole who is a co owner. She advised me they would expedite this right away. I advised her how urgent it is because of three little children, a pregnant wife with a baby do very soon. Keep in mind a hole in my exterior wall. I follow up with an immediate call to talk to Kevin again and he acknowledges there is an issue and their system screwed up and the item is NOT supposed to be included but assured me this would be handled. I call back the next day and speak to a female which was a Friday and asked for an update on shipping. She advised someone would call me back. No call back happened. Call back on Monday morning and spoke to Kevin in the morning who advised me he needed to talk to Nicole who was talking to the manufacturer. This was a red flag as they said they would ship it with priority the prior Thursday. I call back in the PM Monday and speak to Nicole who said Kevin put the order in last Thursday and it was being shipped. She said she would email me with shipping details. I don't receive that email. I call back Tuesday and Kevin puts me on hold as he says the folks are getting ready to ship and said he wanted to get to them before they leave. After several minutes of holding, he comes back and says "i've got good news, we can ship this today and we are going to waive 50% for your inconvenience." I'm like why should I pay when you were the one who quoted the original package and both you and Nicole committed you would get this handled ASAP. Kevin literally starts disrespecting me by saying "what did you think you were going to get this free ..." I'm like actually I expected to get what you told me I was getting after speaking for you for two days on the phone and finally placing an order. The continues with the insults and disconnects. I try to call back with no answer. Finally I select customer service and ask for the manager. Derek comes on the line. We went back and forth and Derek says he'll waive the charge but will send it out normal shipping. I approved. Keep in mind that was Tuesday 11/8. I call back on Tuesday 11/15 and there was no shipment and I again explained my preg wife due any day as well as the kids. Mary says she'll handle and gets it confirmed. I receive the item and the company comes for install and says the replacement parts are not the right parts (terminal, guard). I call back and go through hell sending them pictures that what was sent was wrong. I honestly don't know if it was deliberate but I honestly couldn't believe this is happening. Finally Mary says I'm going to transfer you to Jasmine and gave me a disclosure that she was expecting (I don't know if she said this to me so that I would be nice but honestly I've been nothing but patient and respectful with this company.) Jasmine confirmed that on 11/23 they did in fact send the WRONG parts again and would get over the right parts right away. I call them on Friday as I notice no confirmation email was received. They advised Jasmine would call back. I call again on Monday afternoon and they said the same thing. I call again Tuesday and they said she'll call me back. I call again Tuesday afternoon and finally get Jasmine on the line where she tells me that because of Thanksgiving, this was delayed. I said that's why I called you Monday twice was to make sure you spoke to them. So then she says it will go out either Tuesday night or Wednesday morning. Well today is Wednesday and I still DO NOT HAVE confirmation. I write this at 1030PM as we have a windstorm happening and my home is cold while my heat is turned all the way up.

I don't understand how a company can really screw up this bad. Part of me really wants to think they are sticking it to me. But I will never ever do business nor would I recommend everythinghearthandhome.com, everythingfireplaces.com to anyone. I have screenshots of the site when ordered and what was said to be included in the original package. Everything I state I 100% true and cannot believe this all started 10/8 and we are now at 11/30.

Took money without delivering

FRAUD. Took our money (over $2000). Delivery of the ordered product continued to be delayed. I finally asked for it to be canceled and they said no problem and told me a refund would be issued. BUT THE REFUND NEVER SHOWED UP. They sent me screenshots of “refund transaction details”, but my bank has not received anything and said there is no possible way this can happen unless the store did not send the refund to us. Our bank said what they have done is FRAUD. Looking into legal action now. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Waited 10 months for an "in stock" wood stove. No refund.

Waited 10 months for an "in stock", wood burning insert ( Osburn Matrix 2000 ). I understand lead times and the covid supply chain issues and I expect my patience to be rewarded with some integrity. It has not been.
I purchased on Dec. 1st 2021. EverythingFireplaces.com said the unit would ship in January. Ok fine. Then March, then June, then August, then October, then November. I canceled the order on October 3rd and I am still waiting for my refund. They are blowing me off, telling they just got my email and phone calls, and to check back next week. It appears they are trying to steal my money. Derrick Moran is the owner and is looking for a job on Linked In. How is he able to run a website and hire people if he can't refund $2500.00 bucks? All while claiming veteran owned business status?
Update: 10/17/22 after hounding them by phone, PayPal payment requests,
and emails, all day long
and threatening them with more negative reviews, they finally refunded my money. It cost me the PayPal fees, but glad to be done with these "people". They even tried to offer me a check in the mail. Then lied and said PayPal had an error.

Kevin assisted us regarding our…

Kevin assisted us regarding our purchase and optional items and expressed true expertise as to which items would work best for our home. He was knowledgeable regarding the unit and showed compassion and patience as I am a recent stroke survivor. He also alerted me to additional savings!!! More companies need employees like Kevin!

Great customer service and fast…

Great customer service and fast delivery. They did a great job answering all my questions during a owner installed 45" direct vent linear fireplace with the HeatFlo ducting. Fan, lights, flame all adjustable included - didn't have to add later.

Great service and response. They found a stove insert when no one else could. Best prices around. I was a little nervous due to some negative reviews on line but they provided a great product and fast response to questions. 5 Star

Excellent Service

After ordering, was advised item out of stock for three weeks or so. Option to wait or cancel. I waited and was informed when item arrived, then was promptly shipped. Good follow up by seller.
PS>>Temp guage for Prestige Pro grill works perfectly and is a snap to install.

They deserve a ZERO rating!!!!

They deserve a ZERO-Horrible liars and rip off artists. They promised me a fireplace and that it was in stock. Due to issues beyond my control I was unable to buy on "the spot" was told no problem just let me know when you are ready, there is no expiration on the quote . When I contacted them to order and check stock it had increased in price and was going to cost me nearly $500 more. I begged them to help and for them tostand behind their invoice but they wouldnt. I ended up finding it much cheaper than my original invoice however I must wait at least 8 weeks for it. I am sure my better experience with Fireplaces Direct will dwarf the disasters I have had with Everything Fireplaces. I hope no one has to deal with these CROOKS again!
