Fraudulent Company
I placed an order with Everything Fireplaces on Dec 12, 2022. The purchase was paid and I received email confirmation of the order. Shortly after, received another email indicating longer than expected shipping delays for the product. On Dec 20, 2022 I received email indicating the product would ship from the manufacturer. Due to the manufacturer taking the holidays off, the product would ship after Jan 6, 2023. On Jan 6, 2023 I received an email advising the order was being processed and I would receive a following email with shipment information and tracking Numbers. Jan 10, 2023: I emailed the company and spoke with a representative and later received email indicating the product would ship out in 2 weeks. Then on Jan 17, 2023, I received an email advising the order would ship that week (an exact shipping date was not know, but I would receive an email when it did ship).
On Feb 10, 2023, I spoke via telephone with a representative and was advised they could not advise when the product would ship. I requested to cancel the order and was advised to send an email requesting to cancel. I received an email the same day indicating the cancellation of the product and should receive my refund within 5-7 days. I did not receive my refund within 14 days and began to contact the company both through email and telephone communications. No email reply was received and all phone calls went to the company's automated system. After selecting the appropriate prompt, the phone just continuously rings. I have made 15 calls since then and selected different prompts with same continuous ringing. I have no other option to reach the company and I am at my wits end. It appears the company has either closed or in process of filing bankruptcy...
