I subscribed to EveryDollar Premium Misleading Refund Policy & Zero Accountability…
I subscribed to EveryDollar Premium through the Apple App Store, under the belief that they offer a 30-day refund policy for first-month subscriptions, as stated on their website. However, after being charged immediately, I attempted to cancel and request a refund—only to be denied by both EveryDollar and Apple in a frustrating loop of zero accountability.
When I contacted EveryDollar Support, they told me that they have no control over refunds and that I had to request a refund from Apple instead. When I reached out to Apple, they refused to issue a refund, stating that EveryDollar is responsible for refund eligibility.
This means EveryDollar advertises a refund policy but does not actually honor it for Apple users. If you subscribe via the App Store, the 30-day refund guarantee is meaningless. Now, I’m stuck with a charge I didn’t expect, and neither company is willing to take responsibility.
Key issues:
Misleading refund policy – Their website says refunds are available, but they make it impossible for Apple subscribers to get one.
No accountability – EveryDollar blames Apple, and Apple blames EveryDollar.
Terrible customer service – I was given generic responses with no real attempt to resolve my issue.
If you’re considering trying EveryDollar through the App Store, DON’T. You will not get a refund if you decide it’s not right for you. This was a complete waste of time and money, and I wouldn’t recommend this app to anyone until they fix their policies and actually take responsibility for their customers.
