Fake goods
I ordered night cream from this seller, as it was advertised as being by Boots No 7. I received day cream instead. The label was buckled and the tub completely different from the day cream I'd bought previously from Boots. The No 7 logo displayed usually was missing. The cream was thin and watery.
As I bought this from the Onbuy platform, I contacted them to request a refund. This was after several messages exchanged with the seller. I was told by Onbuy to return the item using the return label and that if there were any problems with the refund, to contact them again. I don't have a printer.
Despite voicing my concerns regarding fraudulent items, Onbuy seem to have no concerns regarding this. I received an email informing me that they don't sell fake items on their website.
Who is the villain here? Well, the seller, of course, as the purveyor of fake items. But closely followed by Onbuy, who are complicit in this fraudulent practice. Last time I looked, fraud was a criminal offense. I won't hold my breath to get a refund from them.
