A Strong and Intensive Introduction to Cybersecurity
Overall, I am very satisfied with the course and the quality of the training. The instructors are mostly highly competent and engaged, and the program covers a broad range of topics in the field of cybersecurity. The course turned out to be significantly better than I had expected, especially compared to reviews of similar programs.
There are, of course, some aspects that could be improved. The technical equipment is somewhat limited, and the laptops often struggle with resource-intensive tools such as Webex and virtual machines. Some modules, for example Basics of SOC, could benefit from a revision of the content or the teaching approach. In addition, complex topics like Firewall and Cloud are very dense and would require more time for deeper understanding.
The workload of the course is high, which is understandable given the intensive format and the relatively short duration compared to programs that last 3–3.5 years. As a result, it is difficult to prepare for professional certifications during the course. However, this is more of a personal wish than a critical issue, and certification preparation often has to be postponed until after the course has ended. Short breaks and dedicated self-study weeks for exam preparation could help prevent burnout and further improve learning efficiency.
Despite these points, the overall impression of the course is very positive. It provides a solid foundation, realistic insights into the profession, and a clear direction for further development. I consider the program valuable and would gladly recommend it to anyone who is ready for an intensive learning experience and wants a strong entry into the field of cybersecurity.
