Part warranty
My daughter recently bought a car, with the car came a Europart receipt for the battery. The battery has a 3 year warranty which runs out in 2025.
The battery was bought online by the last owner. To buy off there website you have to give a vehicle registration.
The battery is now starting to fail now the weather is getting colder. On inspection the battery supplied was suitable for a smaller petrol engines (076)
My daughter took the car to the local europart where she explained this, they would only exchange the failing battery for the same battery even though it was incorrectly supplied. She offered to pay the difference as the correct battery was approximately £20 more expensive. The staff member refused this offer and explained incorrectly the batteries were the same. The diesel requires an 096.
My daughter came home with another new incorrect battery.I spoke to customer services who agreed the previous owner would have had to put the car registration into the search engine to buy the battery, but bought the cheapest option.(You can’t)
I’ve tried this search, the only option is a selection of 096 batteries not 076.
We won’t be purchasing anything of with euro parts again. This is the second warranty issue I’ve had, there won’t be a third.
Still waiting for my follow up after being told I would be contacte about my review.
This definitely hasn’t happened as stated on their response.
annoying popups on website
Their parts and store service are fine my problem was the website. When reading details on brake pads I kept getting pop ups for brake discs and other adds. Very annoying - don't the software developers try out these systems before going live? You're just wasting my time and may put me off buying from your site
3 trips before they gave me the correct…
3 trips before they gave me the correct brake pads, when over-charged me. Reading Branch 30/6.
This is what's known as a gyp!!!
This is what's known as a gyp you company it seems to me that they purposely omit the manufacturers name so you as the consumer won't shop for a better price as they label their parts OE equipment. Do yourself a favor and bypass this site for a more reputable one
their prices are over the top look…
their prices are over the top look around and you will find a local motor factor with a better price and stop getting had over
AVOID until they sort themselves out.
I was surprised went to Halfords near me better battery, longer warranty period, on the shelf and £2.00 cheaper. What's going wrong with europarts ?
Halfords open 7 days a week and if a problem take the battery back to any one of their stores.
I ve used europarts a number of times in recent years and found the staff in the depots excellent, products and service good.
Ordered a battery last night only to find the price had doubled when I had paid, the actual price not appearing as I put the credit card details in. Staff at the shop helped and cancelled the order with a five day refund wait. The staff at head office claim it clear that you must enter a discount code, I have screenshots and it is obvious that no prompt is made to do so.
Lots of local car factors cheaper and safer, I ll be and I can only advise go to them.
Europarts obviously have some problem and are in denial.
Euro Parts ended up being nearly twice…
Euro Parts ended up being nearly twice the price as mercedes own parts .
Excellent service
Excellent service. Part delivered as described and early in day. Very pleased.
Thoughtless and selfish company
Based in Prittlewell - made two complaints about beautiful sycamore trees on Network rail land near to their carpark/delivery area.
Now because of them I have lost any privacy that these fifty foot beauties gave me, they were cut down to ground level a month ago. Now rather than a lush green tree full of wildlife, I get to look upon their ugly building with windows directly facing my frontroom and bedroom windows, and their very busy carpark, and let's not forget the huge fire engine red bin they have there too. Large delivery trucks arrive at 6.30 most mornings and reversing sensors that I never heard before trees were removed, now make my life a living hell.
Also, I have the added view of an old rusting blue tank and old gas canisters which I feel they should now remove as they haven't considered their neighbours who actually live within 3 to 4 metres of them and the impact of removing said trees.
Website showed incorrect wiper blades
Website showed incorrect wiper blades. I returned them and received a refund and the correct set. Friendly staff. No issues, will use again.
Website needs correcting.
"Ground shipments are not a priority..."
3 Days after placed my order I had to call to get an update, as none were forthcoming from EuropaParts. "Your bolt is not in stock and ground shipments are not a priority" I was told over the phone, despite the website listing the item as in-stock. Still sitting here with a broken down van waiting on EuropaParts to get their act together.... never again.
Euro no good
Used euro parts for sparkplugs for my car that showed were in stock and ready for dispatch. Turns out they were not in stock and still to this date have not received them, that was now four weeks ago. Rang them to query my order and they just want to sell you a brand you don't want. Why bother ordering something that is for your vehicle and them to try and sell you something different. Unimpressed. Will not be using them again. Still waiting for my refund.
