Eurom IR remote reads BADLY WRONG

Bought a Eurom IR panel for the bathroom via Hornbach.
First remote sensor came with a cracked glass. The replacement came and I saw that it was reading 3-4 degrees too high without any heating in the area.
Checked it with six other different temperature sensors all NEXT to the Eurom sensors. They were all within 1 degree but both the Eurom sensors both read between 3-5 degrees too high.
Eurom contacted by Hornbach and Eurom said this was NORMAL and I should take it into account when setting desired temperature... RIDICULOUS!!
Up to 5 degree error may be normal for EUROM but it is NOT the tolerance other manufacturers have. Other manufacturers say tolerance is within 0.5-1 degree..
Eurom 3-5 degrees error makes it almost UNUSABLE.
My wife will NEVER get used to setting a 3-5 degree higher temperature that she actually wants.

The temperature sensor is designed primarily to regulate the heater, and readings can be influenced by factors such as the airflow, and surrounding surfaces. Because of this, the displayed temperature may differ slightly from other measuring devices.

However, we understand that the difference you observed is not the experience you were hoping for. If you are not satisfied with the performance of the sensor, we would recommend exchanging the unit through Hornbach, so the product can be checked or replaced.

Sorry but the app/wifi is about the…

Sorry but the app/wifi is about the worst I have ever experinced. Two electric heaters but none able to connect to a hotspot - And absolutely no help in the "Help", regarding this. Well yes sort of "Try adding them manually" but this ends up in excatly the same place as the auto-connect.

Best customer service....

Best customer service I have come across. We have bought Safe-t Convect 2200 and had an issue with a remote control.
Contacted customer service and received a replay next day. The issue was solved one day after that. Keep up the service Eurom.
