I parked in an evening as I had arranged to collect my son from a day out. Had not even considered that I would receive a fine for exceeding 10 minutes in the car park. The letter states an appeal wil... See more

Shocking
I would give them zero if I could, the entire company is set up to con people and make money through disproportionate fining and confusing parking instructions. My question is, how are they legally allowed to operate? The legal parking regulations are not fit for purpose and should be reviewed, so that Euro Car Parks and others are not allowed to operate in this manner.
being fined for no reason
My father went to Weatherspoon for a quick breakfast, during which he parked his car in its complimentary car park. Days later, he received fine ticket, claiming the park belongs to private property and he has no authority to enter that area. He tried to contact the company and explain the situation, but unfortunately with no luck. Had to 120 for bill that he was not responsible for. Absolutely terrible experience. 0/10
Waste of a company
Company can go take a dump in their hand and clap. Refused appeal with literally no reasonable reason. Using the facilities that employ this sham company at 6pm with the carpark being EMPTY and was there 30 minutes over their small sign notice. Absolutely pointless business that just prey on people.
Oh and no email or phone number to actually talk to someone ? POINTLESS
£60 fine for 40mins in a Service…
£60 fine for 40mins in a Service Station is simply extortion
Lies about first discount letter
Don’t park in euro car parks! If you go slightly over your time they won’t send you an original discounted amount. They will send an original letter apparently l after the ‘discounted amount letter’.
You can’t speak to anyone about it either. Useless.
More than £60 for a 37-minute breakfast! Euro Car Parks blocks independent appeal after forcing payment.
I am a regular, loyal customer at JD Wetherspoon (The Golden Beam in Headingley), but I have been completely ripped off by Euro Car Parks due to predatory and poorly communicated changes to their parking system. I spent 37 minutes inside the pub having a quick breakfast that cost me around £6, and it has ended up costing me an extra £60 in unfair penalties. That is more than ten times the cost of my meal!
During May 2026, Euro Car Parks completely altered the car park layout, space suitability, and terminal logging requirements at this site without any prominent warning signs inside the venue. As a regular customer who visits multiple times a month (with bank statements proving purchases on the 6th, 14th, and 26th of May), I had no reasonable way of knowing that the historical terms of parking had suddenly changed mid-month.
Look at how unfair this timeline is:
06/05: Parked and consumed at the pub as normal. No issues.
14/05: Visited for my quick 37-minute breakfast. Unbeknownst to me, the layout/rules had changed this exact day.
15/05: Received a formal "inform notice" via mail, realizing for the first time the rules had changed.
26/05: Returned to the pub. Realizing the change, I spoke directly with Wetherspoon management in the afternoon who manually authorized my car into the terminal. Despite this on-day authorization, I was still issued a PCN for the 14th!
13/06: Euro Car Parks rejected my initial appeal.
Fearing escalating debt collector fees and under immense pressure because their arbitrary "discount deadline" was running out on 16/06, I felt forced to pay the £60 mitigated fine. Two days later on 18/06, Euro Car Parks emailed me saying: "As the parking charge has been paid, the complaint is now closed."
This is a dirty, predatory tactic. They use aggressive deadlines to force genuine customers to pay, and then immediately shut down the case so you can't take them to the independent referee (POPLA). They are punishing paying, loyal patrons during a chaotic transition period and ignoring the fact that the venue management authorized the vehicle. Absolutely shameful customer treatment.
greedy scum
got charged £100 for overstayed 12 minutes in empty car park.
The government should step in!
The land owners using this company should be absolutely ashamed themselves! It’s clear profiteering off the unsuspecting public. There should be governmental intervention to protect us from such unscrupulous “businesses”!
Euro car park issued me two Parking…
Euro car park issued me two Parking fines and stated that i parked my car overnight until the following day. They also send the pictures to evidence that my car stayed all night.
I wrote yo them to dispute that their camera was faulty as needed my car to drive home as I live in another city. They cancelled the tickets.
Euro car park sent another parking fines stating that I had exceeded the time by 14 minutes, which I dispute that and believe that their camera has an issue.
They have taken the matter to court, although I responded to the claim, the court still recorded a ccj against me.
I am writing to the court to remove the ccj.
Euro Car Park do not care about all the negative reviews.

This is the worst company it cons you all the time if I had any sort of power I would close them down and put all management and ownership in jail

No way of appealing a wrong charge notice
Was wrongly billed,so followed the instructions to put in an appeal on their website. Heard nothing so assumed my appeal was successful. 3 months later received a warning and final notice. Wrote again explaining how and when I had appealed - heard nothing. A month later, another letter demanding £100 saying I hadn't appealed within 28 days - a lie! Where do I go from here? There's no way of speaking to these people.
If I could give zero stars I would
If I could give zero stars I would. We followed the rules, input the reg and the screen says confirms the parking session. You then get the ticket. You appeal and they reject it, suggesting I am incapable of inputting a reg. You can't call and the clock ticks on appeals. It is a scam. Shame on you.
In correct Reg Number
I parked and paid but entered an incorrect registration number I incorrectly entered my car reg but I was in my wife's van. I explained this and sent a photo of the tickets and the two vehicles on my driveway clearly showing both registration numbers. The appeal was rejected so I ended up paying for parking and a fine. I and my wife will never use a Euro Car Parks again so in the long run they will just loose money It was a genuine mistake and any company with morals would have understood that they just have no empathy or decency.
Don't visit Sainsbury's twice in a day
Was issued a penalty notice saying I was at my local Sainsbury's 4+hours . I had returned to the store for another purchase but they say I have no proof they were at fault. Robery, it's criminal.
I used a Eurocarpark
I used a Eurocarpark. I paid fir my ticket and put the ticket in the front of my car. A month later I received a fine for not paying. I had thrown away my ticket and cctv was gone. I sent them my bank details proving I paid them. Another month later they rejected my appeal. I asked my bank for the exact time and date of my transaction on a legal document to prove I paid. They rejected it again saying I hadn't put the correct registration and I was not allowed to appeal. They made me pay 100 pounds when I had proved to them I had paid to park. If I didnt pay they would put me to a debt collection agency. I am absolutely heartbroken at the injustice please please please dont use these carparks
Failure to communicate
My wife received a Parking Charge Notice (PCN) for a 14 minute overstay at a ECP location. I tried to pay the charge online but a message came up saying that payment could not be taken at that time.
I had entered the website address on their PCN but was directed to a slightly different website. After several attempts to pay, with the same message appearing, I became concerned that it was a possible scam, so emailed the Managing Director Barry Tucker (several times) regarding the concerns over the website address. No response has been received which seems typical of the other treatment on this site.
How is it possible to make a complaint regarding this? It seems like it isn't, unless some form of legislation changes the way that these companies can operate.
If ECP have any decency they will respond to this review. If they have no decency whatsoever they will not respond.
I was at Sainsbury's car park and…
I was at Sainsbury's car park and shopped at there. Eurocar park machine said nothing to pay. However I have got a fine after a month saying I breach their terms. Appealed with evidence but rejected.
Cheats....poor signage, no comms fines
Cheats....poor signage, no comms options when fined £60 at Rugby station car park which was in dreadful condition for the 11 minutes it took me to establish I couldn't leave the car overnight. Lesson learned. Never use Euro Car Parks. I'm encouraged by Trustpilot's accuracy. Euro Car Parks deserve a minus. Sickening. I'm so sorry for people who are employed by them. Well done Trustpilot. Shame on ECP and goodbye.
1 star is too much...
It's a shame there isn't an option to give less than 1 star. The whole enterprise feels like a grift. Visited a car park two days in a row - used the same machine and keyed in the reg number exactly the same each time. One visit didn't generate a fine, the other did. Made the mistake when I appealed of saying I didn't still have the original ticket, but had the card receipt to show I paid on that day, in that car park. I was told that what was on the system didn't match my reg, despite knowing it was exactly what was printed on the ticket. They then offer a reduced fine or appeal to POPLA but if that's unsuccessful you pay the full amount. Just feels like a way of getting people to pay fines. Awful company
