We purchased a 50GB SIM card package, but the service stopped at 30GB. There was no prior information about any limitation, and this is completely unacceptable. They probably assumed that we will never need so much GB and maybe will never notice that. Even 1 Star is by far too much!

I bought 3 simcards at the airport

I bought 3 simcards at the airport. 2x 44gb 1x28gb. Both the 44 gb cards stopped at around 25gb. The 28 is stopped about to stop at 22gb. I would higly suggest not to buy from this scammer company. This also include Vodafone, as we bought it at their booth. When contacting Etisalat they did not offer to give me the extra 48gb back. So I asked for 24gb. They would not even give me that. In conclusion: Do not but with Vodafone/Etisalat as they will not gove your the right amount GB and also will not help you when you meed help. Buy WE, they always give me the right amount of GB. This happend in Hurghada Egypt.

Never choose etisalat

Etisalat- marina mall.

If I could give 0 stars I would have done it. We took out a telephone subscription there 2 weeks ago. We were told that we had to come back because something had gone wrong. When we came back another man said there was nothing wrong. Then our numbers were suddenly blocked and we couldn’t do anything anymore. We went back. We were inside for 45 minutes and we were definitely not well helped. Johannes would help us, that’s what we came for. He definitely didn’t help us right away. He helped 3 people mixed up and we had to wait every time. When we asked Yassmin, we were not helped either. She was too busy on her phone. Then we asked Khaleb if he could help us, he came for 1 minute and then went to take a break in the middle of the help. He suddenly walked away. Long story short, worst experience I’ve had with phones and subscriptions. If I had known this, I certainly would not have come to etisalat.

I am extremely disappointed with…

I am extremely disappointed with Etisalat’s handling of a prepaid refund.

AED 5,000 was deducted from my account, the refund was sent to an incorrect IBAN, and I was repeatedly given incorrect information by chat support stating the issue was resolved when my bank confirmed no incoming transaction.

My ticket was closed without contact, I waited over 20 days, and I incurred additional costs due to the delay.

This experience shows poor internal coordination and lack of accountability. I hope Etisalat seriously improves its refund and customer support processes.

Shocking customer service

It is amazing how the teleco works in Egypt. I would not blame the staff as they are courteous but the problem is the lack of training and certainly the work culture. I can only hope that customer service improves from a to z and that all staff are fully trained to o ovide better customer service experience.

The worst mobile company in Egypt

The worst company in Egypt, terrible customer service, no solutions, always blame customer directly and indirectly. If I’ve a choice, I’d never deal with them again.
We tried to convert to e sim, followed the instructions and made the required payment and it didn’t work, went to the nearest store as requested by the message, they were very unprofessional and asked to call the customer service. Called them and asked to go back to the store and they started to blame each other, very unprofessional. No solution was found, sim is not working, no commitment to anything, so overall terrible.

I would give -1000 Stars for them

I would give -1000 Stars for them. Made 3 extra cards on my passport when I rechecked on an other store. Went back and they refused everything, this guy sold me a SIM card with 28 GB for 900 LE 😂😂😂 and he said this is the only shop in all Egypt after I confronted. My right to see all cards on the system is not legal, as he said. I have no rights obviously. Sadly can not add a picture.

Got some money back but still not all

They employ thieves at their Sheraton street Hurghada store.
Charged me over 4000le for a wifi router and sim card, refused to let me pay by card told me cash only.
Gave me no receipts, no contracts, nothing. Signed me up to 2 different contracts which I did not ask for nor want.
Customer service is appalling they claim to speak English but don't understand a word that is being said. They claim to have fully investigated my complaint by telling me that according to the paperwork (remember I was never given any) that I paid 2900le. So of course I must have spent all this time trying to get someone to listen to me, because I am lying!
Took a deposit from me for a router that I was buying outright, and I am now stuck in 2 contracts that they refuse to cancel!
AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE

UTAP Scammers - BEWARE!!!!!

We initially chose UTAP services for our company, believing it would help grow our business. Unfortunately, their unprofessional behavior has put our operations at risk. They hired customer support agents from India (Nikunj and Jyoti) who have been unhelpful, disconnecting calls and failing to assist frustrated customers. Our AED 20,000 transaction was held for over a month, causing us significant business losses due to their inefficient processes. Despite being told the refund would be processed within 10 working days, it is still pending. Additionally, our request to increase the limit has gone unanswered. Based on our personal experience, we strongly advise against trusting this company, as their customer service does not meet UAE standards.

I bought a Utap POS machine for the company, the daily transaction limits were low and despite my repeated e-mails and calls to resolve the situation, I could not find a solution. Not only could they not help me, but my contracts with my customers came to the point of cancellation. They are trying to get past me with very amateur statements and say that your transaction will be completed today or tomorrow and your device will be activated, but there is no development. Neither the head office nor the managers nor the field team are still directing me to each other and not only cannot find a solution, they are also causing me harm every day. I regret it and my disappointment with the service continues. You should also be careful.

Review for Utap – A Disappointing Experience with Their Payment Services

We engaged with UTAP, a subsidiary of Etisalat UAE, to provide payment devices for a Restaurant after receiving numerous calls from their team urging us to work with them. After multiple discussions, we agreed to a one-year contract with a fixed monthly fee, after which we would only be charged a commission per transaction.

When their team arrived to sign the contract, the restaurant was busy, and we were unable to thoroughly review the documents. Later, we were shocked to discover that we had unknowingly signed a three-year contract instead of the agreed-upon one-year term. We made countless attempts to contact them to rectify this issue, but each time, they gave us empty promises that the matter would be resolved soon, yet nothing was done.

Eventually, we decided to stop using the device until they amended the contract as originally agreed. Two months later, we were surprised to find out that they had unilaterally canceled the contract without informing us and had sent the outstanding amount to a collection agency, demanding a payment of AED 4,000, despite the device itself being worth no more than AED 500!

This behavior reflects unethical and unprofessional practices, where profit is made through deceptive means rather than through genuine service. Due to this highly disappointing experience, we strongly caution others against dealing with this company. We will be posting this review across all rating and review platforms to ensure potential customers are well-informed before making any commitments with them.

تعاملنا مع شركة Utap التابعة لاتصالات الإمارات بهدف توفير أجهزة الدفع الإلكتروني في مطعمنا، وذلك بعد تلقي العديد من الاتصالات من فريقهم لإقناعنا بالتعاون معهم. وبعد عدة محاولات، اتفقنا معهم على عقد لمدة سنة واحدة برسوم شهرية، وبعدها يكون الدفع فقط على أساس العمولة عند استخدام الجهاز.

عند حضور فريقهم لتوقيع العقد، كان المطعم مزدحمًا، ولم يتسنَّ لنا قراءة التفاصيل بدقة. لاحقًا، اكتشفنا أننا وقعنا على عقد لمدة 3 سنوات بدلاً من سنة واحدة، مما كان مخالفًا لما تم الاتفاق عليه شفهيًا. حاولنا التواصل معهم مرارًا لحل هذه المسألة، لكن دون جدوى، حيث كانوا يعدوننا مرارًا وتكرارًا بحل المشكلة دون أي تنفيذ فعلي.

في النهاية، قررنا إيقاف استخدام الجهاز حتى يتم تعديل العقد كما تم الاتفاق عليه في البداية. وبعد شهرين، تفاجأنا بأنهم قاموا بإلغاء العقد من طرفهم دون أي إشعار مسبق، ثم أحالوا المبلغ المستحق إلى شركة تحصيل ديون (Collection Agency)، وطالبونا بدفع 4000 درهم، رغم أن سعر الجهاز نفسه لا يتجاوز 500 درهم!

هذا الأسلوب يعكس سلوكًا غير مهني واستغلالًا غير مبرر، حيث يتم تحقيق أرباح بطرق غير متعلقة بالخدمة الفعلية. إن هذه التجربة غير المرضية تدفعنا إلى تحذير الآخرين من التعامل مع هذه الشركة، وسننشر تقييمنا هذا على جميع منصات التقييم والمراجعة حتى يكون العملاء على دراية كاملة قبل اتخاذ أي قرار بالتعامل معهم.

Мы начали сотрудничество с UTAP, дочерней компанией Etisalat UAE, для установки платёжных терминалов в ресторане после многочисленных звонков от их команды, настойчиво предлагающей нам их услуги. После нескольких обсуждений мы согласились на годовой контракт с фиксированной ежемесячной оплатой, после чего плата взималась бы только в виде комиссии за транзакции.

Когда их команда приехала подписывать контракт, ресторан был загружен, и у нас не было возможности тщательно изучить документы. Позже мы с удивлением обнаружили, что подписали трёхлетний контракт вместо согласованного годового. Мы многократно пытались связаться с ними, чтобы исправить ситуацию, но каждый раз получали пустые обещания, что проблема скоро будет решена – однако ничего так и не изменилось.

В конечном итоге мы решили перестать использовать терминал, пока они не внесут изменения в контракт, как было изначально оговорено. Через два месяца мы с удивлением узнали, что они в одностороннем порядке расторгли контракт, не уведомив нас, и передали задолженность в коллекторское агентство, потребовав оплату в размере 4 000 дирхамов ОАЭ, несмотря на то, что сам терминал стоит не более 500 дирхамов!

Такое поведение свидетельствует о неэтичных и непрофессиональных методах работы, когда прибыль извлекается за счёт обмана, а не качественного сервиса. Из-за этого крайне негативного опыта мы настоятельно предостерегаем других от сотрудничества с данной компанией. Мы разместим этот отзыв на всех доступных платформах с рейтингами и отзывами, чтобы потенциальные клиенты были осведомлены перед тем, как принять решение о работе с ними.

The idea is that you are a tourist so you have money, so 350 dirhams can be stolen. disrespectful, no morals and bad for tourism. Some people just dont learn.
