We had an amazing holiday. The hotel was in a great location, child care was incredible and the food and service were brilliant. We will definitely be going back!
Accommodation was basic but comfortable and great value for money. The childcare was exceptional and our daughter (3 years old) had a great stay. She thoroughly enjoyed the snow club activities and her ski classes.
The hotel ski in/ski out location was great.
One big negative was the catering service for special dietary requirements. My daughter has a milk protein allergy and I am vegan. I had to repeatedly request specific suitable meals for us despite paying an additional premium when I booked. There was lots on offer for everyone else at breakfast, afternoon tea and for canapés, but I had to make requests for suitable meals, which were actually available. By the end of the week I felt I was putting the staff out (despite having paid extra for vegan meals) when I booked 3 months previously.
Third holiday with Esprit. Great if you have kids but you can definitely feel the quality slipping which is a shame.
Food not great for adults same menu year after year. Would be nice if there was a bit more attention to detail and food was better...it is, after all the parents who are paying and who are also on holiday!
This was our first holiday with Esprit (the company had been recommended by friends) and it couldn't have been better. Took three kids aged 10, 8 and 6. Smooth travel, great transfers, staff were amazing with children (mine are clingy but couldn't have been happier to go with staff). The ski lessons/supervised lunch element meant adult ski time and kids only tea meant we could eat our ownhigh tea and relax! Babysitting services fab. Hotel was a bit tired but food fantastic and we all (including adults!) made new and lovely friends. No idea where they find the staff or how they train them to be so brilliant but they made our holiday. Our children will never forget this trip and neither will we. Wouldnt hesitate to recommend. Can't wait to go back!
Our 5th year skiing with Esprit and will return next year. Faultless childcare and easy transfers. Hotel food this year was not as good as previous years but that really was our our niggle.
Good holiday - very basic service in terms of food and cleanliness - we did raise this with the rep and it did improve but overall it was very average. I would use Esprit again but only on the hope that the catering would be better.

Only reservation was the rooms were a little basic. Only one room in the family suite had a window so the kids cooked. Lots of hanging space but no shelves so clothes were everywhere.

Just home from Esprit ski holiday with four little children. Have had the best holiday, great staff, couldn't be more helpful! Worth every penny... will be back :-)
Childcare - first class. Chalet host and resort support- excellent
We stayed in Les Gets, in the Chalet Karine. This was our 4th holiday with Esprit and we usually would award 5 stars but this just didn’t reach the same quality of service. Communication of events didn’t happen - such as the usual sheets at the end of the childcare day and we had to ask about the presentation ceremony at the end of the week (good job we had been before so knew it would happen).
The chalet also needs an update. It was a bit dirty and the room dripped from the ceiling due to condensation.
The skiing area was good though and the kids enjoyed being with the staff.
This was our 2nd time with Esprit and we booked on recommendation from others due mainly to the childcare and we will not be re-booking for a 3rd time. Check-in was a shambles as according to Manchester Airport Esprit have outsourced check-in to Menzies and they therefore had no control over it. Check in opened late and then only opened 1 out of 3 desks because, and I quote, "the others are teenagers and are probably still in bed". The resort was good (Peisy) and chalet was lovely however the cleanliness was appalling. Even after asking the host to clean, it was left in a filthy state. Toilets were never cleaned, beds never made, floor never vacuumed and we had to ask for replacement toilet roll when we ran out. We spoke to the Chalet manager who agreed it was unacceptable and spoke to the staff and although improvements were made it was minimal. There was not enough room at the dining table for all guests when the children were with us for breakfast and as people finished and left the table their dirty plates were not removed for the whole of breakfast and we had to reset the table ourselves around the dirty plates and many items were regularly missing. There was no cheese, ham or French bread for 2 days because they hadn't ordered any!
One of the big reasons however for not rebooking is that Esprit are now moving to two nights eating out rather than one which significantly increases our costs as a family of four and Esprit are offering no saving to the customer ever though they are providing a days less meals. No canapés or petit fours this year, outsourcing check-in and flights and only providing 5 days of food not 6. Corners are being cut and but still charging the customer the same price. The people who recommended Esprit to us after using them 4 times are also going elsewhere next year.
5th time with Esprit and it is likely to be the last. Although the resort and chalet were amazing, the cleanliness was appalling. Even after asking the host to clean, it was left in a filthy state. We resorted to calling the Chalet manager who agreed it was unacceptable. Although improvements were made the following day, the standards were not kept and the filth remained. The food was awful this year too, very small portions and generally not up to standard, cold, overcooked or under cooked. The service was lacking. At each meal time the table was not set, items such as milk, butter, jam, bread, water missing. Crockery and cutlery were dirty as the dishwasher was not only broken but dangerous. Child care and ski lessons as always were good, which makes it more disappointing that we were let down by the accommodation and food. Our party has written a formal letter of complaint to Esprit and we await a response.

This was our 6th year with esprit and like any company their are some niggly things but overall a great experience every year.
We've just come back from our first Espirit holiday and thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff were absolutely brilliant and genuinely seemed to care about all guests. They were full of energy and just great with the kids which makes all the difference. We were abit hesitant at booking about how the kids would be in ski school and new people but they had no complaints and seemed to live every second. The baby listening service was so great and meant that we could have some quiet adult tie in the evening. It's no luxury hotel or holiday but it's everything you want in a relaxed, easy ski holiday. Would definitely book another espirit ski holiday.

Excellent childcare, lovely chalet and fantastic food, great holiday for all of us.
Great company, lives up to its reputation for child care. Staff were excellent, worked hard and gave lots of feedback on the children everyday. The children really enjoyed themselves, and learnt a lot despite young age. Food well cooked and tasty, wine very good quality. Chalet warm and comfortable, and very convenient for nursery and slopes. Would definitely go with them again
