Fanstastic quality, delivered by an expert team.

Sadly the Ercol of today is not living up to their esteemed reputation.

Is Ercol good quality? We have a large Teramo extending table bought in 2024. It turns out that the the table is veneered oak, not solid and it's a very thin veneer at that. A veneer seems like a poor choice for a kitchen table that's expected to encounter heavy use. We only realised the top was veneered after gently sanding it down before re-finishing and revealing the ply underneath, it is that thin! We thought this was a forever table investment but sadly not.

Do Ercol offer good customer service? We also have a set of Ercol dining chairs, one of which has developed a fault, the back spindles are coming loose. We contacted Ercol and instead of helping, we were simply told to contact the retailer we bought from. I do understand that our contract is with the retailer but it just felt like I was being fobbed off. Unfortunately the retailer haven't responded either. We're just past 12 months since purchase so we'll see what happens.

After purchasing a large Ercol dining table, 4 dining chairs and 3 bar stools, sadly we're left disappointed.

Prompt and efficient delivery and unwrapping in the room of our choice. Beautiful bench. Also, practical and attractive two-tiered hall table. Very attractive additions to our new home.

Beautiful pieces of furniture at a great price from the Ercol Outlet. Unfortunately some considerable damage to one of the sofas which occured in transit.
A very large heavy sofa was placed in the room by the courier where the damage was not visible. It must have been visible to the courier as it was unpacked at height on the back of the truck and turned on its side to be carried. However it was not pointed out by them.
Great service and assistance from Lynne at Ercol in offering a resolution. Cannot fault Ercol or the items, maybe apart from their choice of courier. I would have happily paid more to have the furniture delivered to me in the condition in which it had left the factory. Would be a 5 star review otherwise.
Don't make my mistake and ensure you check everything thoroughly before signing for it!

Beautiful furniture. Looked at a lot of other brands and were disappointed with the quality, we didn’t think we could afford Ercol. However, bought three items from their outlet page and are delighted with what we purchased. It’s definitely worth saving a little extra to purchase Ercol, it will last years. Buying was easy and delivery extremely reasonable. I would definitely recommend and will purchase again from the the website. Thank you, a very happy customer.

We purchased a dining table & chairs from the outlet store. The service at the store was excellent and the ordering and delivery process were very efficient. We were also able to order the manufacture of an addition chair to complete the set & this was delivered yesterday. Particular thanks to Caitlin for her pleasant & knowledgeable customer service.

Excellent and most comfortable Chesham Dining Chairs purchased from the Ercol Outlet. Great price and a lovely welcome when I arrived at the Ercol HQ in Princes Risborough. Had a wander around the showroom whilst there. So much classic furniture I'd like to acquire. In a few years time!

Delivery was quite slow considering it was an item ftom the outlet. The items was perfect and well wrapped. The delivery men were excellent. However the delivery lorry was large enough that they couldn't use the closest road ( and I am NOT talking a country lane)

An excellent sofa delivered from the Ercol Outlet shop. Due to it being a larger sofa than I'd had previously, it was quite a challenging delivery having to go around a corner in the hallway (one half) or four doors down the street and around the back (the second half) but all was done successfully and with smiles. It could have been a little faster given that I was buying a stock item from the outlet store, but it was delivered ahead of the stated four week schedule.

I'm delighted with the furniture and may go for an Ercol sideboard, table or kitchen chairs in future.

Found a product we liked at a great price. Delivered within agreed timescale, unpacked, installed and in perfect condition. Very satisfied.

We have had some Ercol items for several years and this latest purchase has completed the set. Very well made and delivery arrangements were excellent.

Got sofa of them from outlet two different shade on back one half was new other half was used. Phoned up and didn’t have another I could return it but that would meet I wouldn’t have a sofa and I had already purchased the chairs that matched so kept it and put it against a wall. The delivery guys were brilliant.

Extremely pleased with the purchase. As discribed & well priced.
Easy to order ,but delivery did not go to plan.The size if the delivery lorry was extremely large fir devon village roads.Although a double deaker bus drives through the village the delivery lorry couldn't. Without discussion said would take item back!.We would have incurred large charges. We drove our own small van to the lorry and took the item the last few miles. Delivery men not helpful at all. Ercol ,you can do better.
