Great communication from all team members with super fast response and updates along the process. Without them we wouldn't have gotten the case resolved.

An excellent High Court Enforcement Office to consider if you have to enforce to recover a debt

After much researching as to which High Court Enforcement Office to use to recover a debt for which there was a court judgment (and which had not been paid by the defendant), Equivo was chosen above others and mandated. The complex process of obtaining a high court write against the defendant and then enforcing was made extremely simple. The high court writ was obtained only in a matter of a couple of weeks given Equivo's (which is normally not the case) and the debt promptly recovered thereafter. Words cannot praise enough the professionalism, courteousness, understanding and knowledge of each of the members of the team with which there was interaction. This whole complex process was handled very efficiently by Equivo (including providing status updates) and the debt recovered promptly despite the defendant not wishing to pay.

I wish you could rate 0 stars

I wish you could rate 0 stars. Horrible horrible service. I bought a car, later went to sell it found out a previous owner hadn’t settled the finance and was sent to Equivo I was messed around from the start to finish, no clear response I rang/emailed the amount of times I heard sorry the team isn’t available right not I’ve forwarded to the manager to make sure they ring today to not hear anything was outstanding. Useless I was initially told it would take 6 weeks took almost 3 months I was told I would hear something after a further 14 days it’s not on day 22 and nothing I’ve rang 3 times to be told they will ring you today to not get a call back. Not sure if this is ever going to get sorted bar me ringing every second of every day to eventually speak to the team but we will see

Most Helpful Advice

I was recommended to contact Equivo by my Solicitor when it looked as if the current delays within the County Court system would result in me losing the sale of my property. I dealt with Alison and Aaron, both of whom were charming and incredibly helpful and supportive. By total good luck, the CC Bailiff's appointment letter arrived literally within days of me speaking with Equivo and so it was unnecessary for me to employ their services. That in no way detracts from the helpful advice they offered and I would highly recommend contacting them at the earliest opportunity if you need to speedily repossess a property.

Really great and professional team

Really great and professional team. Allison picked up my call at 6pm on a Friday and made sure I was responded to by 7pm on the same day by Johnathan. He explained the whole process to me and walked me through the service and spelt out the costs clearly.

Thanks for all your help Equivo Team

Equivo delivers a good service

A very positive point about Equivo is that they promptly answered the phone whenever I needed help to recover the money a debtor owed me, and they took immediate action. I could also speak directly to the bailiff to get an update about the collection. I found them professional and trustworthy and highly recommend their services.

Removal of Squatters - Great Team!

I instructed the team at Equivo to act on my behalf when I was in the unfortunate position where I had squatters break in to a family owned property in London and take up residence, refusing to leave.

After a long process of going through the courts we were finally successful in achieving the Writ of Possession. Jon, Andy and Aaron were all super helpful with dealing with the situation for me, from keeping me updated about the next steps, to ensuring the property was vacated and secured before handing me the keys.

If anyone finds themselves in the unfortunate position like me, I would definitely recommend using Equivo to execute their High Court Writ. Thanks again!

Great Team!

I know people think that bailiffs are thugs but couldn’t have dealt with more pleasant people, in what was such a traumatic situation for me and one I hadn’t ever encountered.

Their staff, especially Alison were so helpful from the first time I spoke to them and emailed me and kept me informed all the time. When I had a question the were always available even when the person owed me money finally made contact and agreed to pay in full and all my costs.

A massive thank you to Equivo for collecting my money and being there when I needed support God Bless!

We sat on the other side

We sat on the other side - with Equivo being asked to chase down payments.
From the moment they got in touch until when we resolved the debt, they were polite & professional.
In difficult circumstances for all parties - the process was smooth & well managed.
To future clients I would recommend them. To people who are being asked to make payments - be polite, ask the questions that you want & they will treat you as one would expect.

Expert service.

From the initial telephone call to the full collection of money owed, we received expert advice and service via telephone and email. Equivo applied for a high court writ on our behalf and then succeeded in collecting the total amount owed to us from a county court judgement, together with costs, even though the debtor lived in the south of England. I would fully recommend their service and using Equivo removed all the worry and unpleasantness of the situation with no cost to ourselves.

Absolute Lifesavers!

Very impressive service from this team. We had a series of caravans arrive into our hotel car park at 11pm at night. We have never had this before so turned to google for a resolution and landed upon Equivo. We dropped then an enquiry and got a call back within a couple of hours.

We were impressed by Jonathan who gave us free advice with the hope that it would cause the visitors to move on and it cost us nothing. Unfortunately this didn't work so the Equivo team were put into action.

Within an hour Jordan turned up and served notice to our friends and more bailiffs and security arrived to protect the property and other guests. Within 6 hours, everything had been cleared on and cleared up.

The team were absolute lifesavers and we couldn't have done it without them. At the outset it was made clear that the visitors wanted to stay with us for 3 weeks and would cause irreparable damage to our reputation in that time. Thank you for your help!

Excellent No Fuss Old-Fashioned Service

I had an established judgement and was owed over £2,000 by a major financial institution (bank!) who continually blocked all my attempts to satisfy the judgement and simply tried to bamboozle me with legal jargon effectively pushing me from pillar to post.
I tried to call several High Court firms, including the so called “Leading experts in High Court enforcement and recovery” but they never answered the phone nor called me back when I left messages.

I then called Equivo and amazingly was put through to speak directly with the director, Mr J Chatsfield. He explained the procedure and process in very clear and simple terms, so I immediately instructed them online - How happy was I that within 21 days they had prosecuted the judgement, collected the debt in full and 14 days later I got my money. I didn’t even have to pay Equivo! Fantastic after what I had endured previously.

It was very refreshing to receive such great customer care and service and I cannot recommend them highly enough.

A very trustworthy company that I would highly reccommend

I have instructed different High Court Enforcement firms in the past decade, and I must say Equivo was by far the best. Unlike other firms, Equivo is very service-minded. Their members of staff are professional, approachable, knowledgeable, and I could tell they studied every detail of my case and cared about helping me. And Obviously Equivo has a very strong network with courts and other parties that enables them to gather important information quickly and to get things done efficiently. I was also happy and really impressed that they often actively kept me updated, without me having to call and ask for one. Equivo is indeed a reliable firm I will highly recommend!

A professional, swift, effective and courteous service!

I engaged the services of this company based on a word of mouth recommendation. From the beginning to the end they not only met my expectations but surpassed them. I was kept informed every step of the way. I was treated with dignity and care and staff remained professional despite very significant challenging circumstances.

Thoroughly professional and highly effective

Equivo represented me for an eviction through the High Court. Having finally achieved that now I have to say they are thoroughly professional and highly effective. I recommend them without hesitation and commend them for their team work and professionalism which made a potentially stressful situation run smoothly and without any problems at all.
