Purchase was straightforward

Purchase was straightforward, but the email went to the gift recipient even though I clicked for it to be sent only to the purchaser (me). It was a nice gift, but a ruined surprise. The purchase process needs to be buttoned up.

If a recipient’s email is entered at checkout, the system will send the voucher to both you and the recipient. To keep the gift a surprise, you can leave that field blank so only you receive the voucher and can share it at the right moment.

Bad experience with this platform

Bad experience with this platform. Terms and conditions onerous. Rooms 50% more than hotels.com. Got this as a work perk.
Would never reccomend

My experience was ok

My experience was ok. I got kicked out a couple times but then it worked fine. I do like how many options there are & how easy it can be to purchase a gift as long as thr site is working properly.

Delivered to the wrong address.

Delivered to the wrong address.
The box was not sealed? There were no instructions in the box and the oil bottle did not have a label it was ripped off. Very over priced for a gift of 2 DYI candles.
The address provided is the correct one but the picture to confirm delivery is not the correct address.

Cool idea but I was disappointed.

Cool idea but I was disappointed.
Two of the clues were out of date. The map they reference was updated in June and this is October and so we were frustrated that we couldn't figure it out. In one of the stores it asked to spot an animal and there wasn't one there. We asked the store owner and he knew what it was because he had taken it down recently. It's tricky to make a game like this without ensuring everything is 100% up to date. For the price paid I would have expected this to be air tight.
Also - while some of the clues were decent, many were worded in a confusing manner. There were some typos throughout as well. Sometimes they would say things like 'turn at the 3 yellow things' and there were just too many yellow things in sets of 3 that we could see. This felt like it was about 60% ready as an experience. This could easily have cost $10 as an experience (if it was better) but for the price, it's very underwhelming. There's zero overhead besides ensuring these puzzles are accurate. I do like the concept - I just wish they had better / smarter clue givers who understood puzzle development more.

Alberta experiences.....easy to understand

It was easy to find as l was looking for some Alberta activities as a xmas gift. It popped right up and showed me what you had to offer.
My transaction was easy and the voucher came to my email directly. I am sure my grandkids will just love taking one of your adventures.

The teacher (Jessica) was dynamic and…

The teacher (Jessica) was dynamic and fun, engaging all members of our group and getting to know a bit about us before we started. She helped explain each step into the process of baking the macaroons, and engaged each person in one part of the process or another. We did get to taste some pre-made macaroons, and took a box home with us, which was nice 😊 It was helpful to the group that she spoke both French and English, and we even able to converse with on of our group members who native language was Japanese!

It was helpful to have a parking lot available, rather than having to find street parking in the area.

It's a super easy excellent gift!

We live in Chicago and our daughter & son in law live in Vancouver. Getting gifts across the border is very time consuming, so now we generally go for e-gifts.

Epic Experiences has a wonderful, wide variety of choices. And they have the option for the giftees to choose which experience they want to have.

The kiddos are having fun choosing which experience to try first. That means this is a goto option we can use whenever we want. Win-win!

I ordered and signed up for email…

I ordered and signed up for email voucher. 24 hours later the voucher isn’t ready.

It shouldn’t take more than a day to get the voucher to get the experience
