You Won't Be Welcome If You Have A Disability

The staff only care about selling you a membership. I canceled my membership after my first day as a member at the gym. The staff would rather hang out with fellow employees or be on their phones than to help you.
I am disabled and I found it very difficult to try and get help when I came in andvthey told me to download the app to sign in. When I told them I was struggling to get the app, they told me I could sit on the couch while I worked on it. I'm 50 so I know some tech stuff but they could have at least offered to come around and show me what to do. I appreciate the couch so I didn't have to lean on my walker the whole time but I'm sure it took me so much longer to get the app and login versus one of the three staff members at the desk helping me and not just standing there talking to one another and ignoring me.
I saw an assistant manager in an office and went in to speak with him aboutbthe situation at the desk and he couldn't be bothered to stop texting on his phone.
The other issue is that because of my disability, I was signing up solely because of the indoor pool. I was told during my tour before I joined that it was a heated pool. The day I went in as a "member", I got in the pool to find out it was either not a heated pool or the water heater was not working. It was very cool water.
The members of the staff were so dismissive of me. I'm sure they don't care about one person canceling their membership after one day because they already charged me the annual fee. And if you have an issue with this company, you can't tmreach out to their corporate website.
There are many fitness gyms in the Coral Springs, FL area. I suggest you go to a place that appreciates their members and treat them as humans. Especially if you have a disability, I would definitely advise you go somewhere else.

My EOS Fitness monthly fee went up as…

My EOS Fitness monthly fee went up as well as my annual fee, and was not in alignment with my contract. I was just charged my annual fee today, and contacted my location to discuss the increased fees. I was told that it was a corporate decision a few months ago, and that there is nothing I can do about it. I asked to have my account cancelled and to refund my annual fee that was just charged. I was told that EOS Fitness would not refund the annual fee. I asked to speak with the corporate office, and was told that they are moving and that I cannot talk with someone from the corporate office.

Can’t trust a business like Eos Fitness…

Can’t trust a business like Eos Fitness when the general manager Deejay at Katy branch is deceptive and bullies her clients! She is dating Tyler the trainer there which is a conflict of interest! This manager is self-serving and manipulative. Every issue I have inquired about is dismissed! The gym is extremely dirty under her watch! I have called numerous times to upper management and nothing has been done about these issues.

I joined the Meyerland EŌS about 1 year…

I joined the Meyerland EŌS about 1 year ago. They advertised a decent price, but things like towels were extra, there were lots of hidden costs, and the real price was not so great. In Meyerland none of the equipment has a TV so using the treadmill while you’re trying to watch the one far from you on uninteresting topics with no sound is not enjoyable, but the woman who signed me up assured me they had lots of yoga and other classes for women my age. After I signed up I looked on line and found they actually had next to none, but she kept on assuring me then and every time I went in that many classes for people my age were coming very soon. That NEVER happened. I think what bothers me most was that they LIED. Then they called to tell me my credit card expired and asked for a different way to bill. I went in the day they contacted me and gave them another card. They said there would be no problem since I addressed the issue right away. Today I got my bill. They charged a late fee of 50% over my regular fee. I’m having a hard time trusting anything they tell me. I quit. DO YOU WANT TO GO TO A PLACE YOU CAN’T TRUST? I don’t. Read their reviews. Most written by real customers are awful.

Scammers! Open multiple accounts without consent and refuse to cancel

Signed up for a membership and they asked if I wanted to add a member. Went to cancel after not using my membership and they said pay a fee to cancel. Did that and they never cancelled and furthermore triple charged me. When I confronted them they lied and claimed that’s the fee to cancel. Well no given the documents I received said otherwise. Showed them the email and got refunded. Now I’m still being charged and come to find out when I added a member they created an entirely different membership for my husband and had just racked up backpay. Saying I owe 75 now. After I paid to cancel. BEWARE.

The best tour of a fitness center …

The general manager Haziel was the reason I signed up. Haziel gave me a tour of the facility. He’s knowledge and technique are unequivocally the best. Haz is very personable and will make you the best deal he can offer with in reason. This gym offers state of the art equipment, however, I have been in and out of gyms for over 25 years and Haz made all the difference in my opinion.

Hawaiian Garden location

this review is for their Hawaiian Gardens location. i had signed up at pre opening apprx April 2021. thought i was supporting local business. given them my cc ‘to lock in my rate’ and was told that once they opened they would notify me. fast fwd a few months and zero notifications later, i start noticing random billings on my credit card statement. havent had a chance even to come in for a single workout even. when i contacted Hawaiian Gardens, they referred me to an unavailable contact in San Diego. that i could never get a hold of. not knowing how to stop the billing process otherwise. i contacted my cc. my credit card company tried to claim billing error on less than a handful of charges out of many charges. fast fwd a few more months. EOS 3rd party billing sent my acct to collection. this nightmare never ends

Do not waste your money here.

This review is meant for their new Riverview location. The sauna has been broken for over a week now. I just asked when it would be fixed and they are “waiting on the parts”. Brand new facility and you can’t even keep up with the equipment. New machines are already broken as well and have remained broken. This gym may like nice from the outside. But from the inside it’s a dump. They only care about signing up new people.

Very easy to work with. Would recommend

Had a problem with my account and asked on the website. I heard back on the same day and they made it right. The young lady called me on the phone and was extremely helpful and professional. They froze all of my membership fees for two months free.
