I really should change my suppliers

I really should change my suppliers. I am with EON and I just HATE dealing with them. They ring me up, they want to know my birthday, I go on line, and after clicking twenty different images of horses and fekking lions I get more pictures of more horses and more lions. Look, I know we need some security, but they ring ME up, on my number, with my bad attitude. THEY KNOW ITS ME d'huay. So that is my task for today. Change from EON

Absolutely terrible

Absolutely terrible - both heat and next. Direct debits never for the correct amount (among a multitude of other issues) and customer services awful. When complains are raised, the constantly claim they have tried to contact you and threaten you with stopping work on the complaint. If I wasn't stuck with them because of the heating system in my house I would leave.

Awful company

Awful company, I paid my Npower account in full and switched when Eon next took over (because they’re known for defrauding customers with extortionate bills.) I owed nothing on the account and surprise surprise 2 months after I switch to SSE they back bill me over £1000. Absolute scammers.

Eon is the worse supplier

Eon is the worse supplier. Issue with gas meter. Then not being able to take a reading since living at property in august 2020. Contacted them about 15 times or more with same issue. Said it will be fixed within 90 days. 14months later we are still waiting. Contacted them as bill was incorrect again. Gave them correct gas reading. Then our bill was incorrect. As we have not used nearly £300 in gas in two months. Live chat is shocking. Finally spoke to someone on app and stated we have new meter fitted in august 2021 which is also incorrect. So reading is from new meter. Which we had to give the reading so incorrect again. Eon customer service don’t listen to everything we had to say. Just say will be sorted in 90 days which is completely unacceptable. We should need to give a meter reading every time the bill is due. Isn’t that the whole part in having smart meters. Disgusted with service. Currently on hold to put in a massive complaint. And looking to switch to different supplier.

Never joined them as they steal your money!

I am a customer since December 2020. I recorded my start meter reading that time.
I was told I need to give a new meter reading in August which I did.

Between this period eon zeroed my meter reading (in July) some reason, and since then they billing me this amount. I have noticed it after I have received my bill in August. I contacted with them at least 5 times but they don’t understand what I am saying. So basically they want me to pay over 2000 cubic meter of gas for 8 months :O when I have this gas meter since I moved into my house in 2016. Even back then the meter reading was not zero.
Unbelievable! I am 5 months old pregnant and eon gives unnecessary stress for my baby and me! I will take it to next level!

Never join them, even if they are the cheapest on the market!
Pay a bit more but you will pay what you use!

I should never ever leave Ovo Energy!

Wish I had read these reviews and stayed…

Wish I had read these reviews and stayed with who i was with E-On are a pile of ****, no customer service, satellite meters that cannot be read by satellite, threatening letters, even though I only owe Augusts account as I cancelled DD due to not getting a true reading for over 6 months and this is at extortionate amounts and yet they can't get a reading and due to limited mobility due to back issues I cannot read them myself!! I am fuming and moving whether my contract is up or not

Disgusting operators.

E.ON's customer service provides no service at all. They are akin to loan sharks in that all they are interested in is coming for your money. They do not listen or try to understand if you contact them. They are dictatorial and - I believe, from my experience with them - fraudulent in their charging methods. There is a smoke-and-mirrors approach to what they charge you for your energy usage. If you raise a complaint with them, as I have, they close it unilaterally within seven days at their own chosing with no mediation with the complainant.
They are refusing to show me honest accounts of the energy I am using. They are almost doubling what is shown on my smart meter and charging me nearly
twice what the meter shows, PLUS repeatedly adding penalty charges for profiteering purposes despite me overpaying my usage by almost double to clear an arrears which I dispute that I owe.
They are very difficult to contact. I have spoken to their incompetent staff in India, South Africa, and the North of England. None of whom have any clue how to resolve my issue. They just read from a script.
They really take the biscuit as a company when it comes to bad practice, very poor customer service, bullying, and incompetence. I am truly shocked that in this day and age a company can get away with their behaviour.

Don’t deserve one star I have paid…

Don’t deserve one star I have paid every bill on time but still late payment denials of having received the money ridiculous company that can’t carry on I’m not paying anything I don’t owe judging by everyone else’s experience they won’t look good in court

AVOID AT ALL COSTS This company should be closed down

This company should be closed down , changed address which both address are with e on so I changed address then I get a bill for £500 I’m classed as vp and I’m 29bweeks pregnant and I’m being harassed by e on and debt collectors which I provided all correct information and now it’s stressing me out and my baby out , SO I WOUPD LIKE ALL TO REPORT THIS COMPANY TO Company’s house and tradeing standards this is really scary that they are forcing money out of people and that youu don’t even do there research befor ringing customers I’ve rang them up after being ignored treated like a criminal it’s all on there system and I’ve proved I moved out and e on confirms I changed the address over , is this normal !!!!!! PLEASE AVOID THIS COMPANY AND MY NAME OS PAIGE BELL I WIL BE REPORTING THESE PERSNOALY TODAY THERE STANDARDS ARE SCARY AND WHAT THEY ARE DOING IS WRONG

If I could give a minus star I would.
Absolutely Shocking awful customer service, there is no one you can talk to about disputes, so had to raise a formal complaint in writing which is still not resolved, despite them acknowledging the error is theirs , have now opened a dispute with the energy ombudsman against them. If you can use an alternative company then do so!! Absolutely useless waste of time company and staff !!

Unwilling to accept the error on there side

Not at all happy with the customer service, paid a bill over the phone on the 15Feb and the money came out of my bank account, the received another bill on 4 Mar saying the bill hadn’t been paid. Contacted the bank and they raised a claim for a refund, eon still not paying. Bank paid me back and paid the bill again, another letter came saying I hadn’t paid, because they have paid the bank back money from the 4 Mar, spoke to the bank and no money has been paid, what a farce. I’m getting ready to move once this is all rectified.

Absolutely shocking customer service or…

Absolutely shocking customer service or lack there of! I called the number they provide to give a final meter reading and I’m still here an hour later! What’s frustrating is at minute 37 I got through and they re directed my call to a different department and even worse I tried to do this online prior and that failed me too. Utter utter rubbish! They’ve been pants the whole time I’ve been with them! AVOID!
