I rented a vehicle through enterprise/alamo

I rented a vehicle through EconomyBooking, provided by Enterprise/Alamo in Switzerland.
At the time of collection, the vehicle already had visible wear and scratches and over 40,000 km usage. I documented the condition with photos and video before leaving the rental location.
After returning the vehicle, Enterprise claimed windshield damage allegedly caused by gravel and charged CHF 780 to my credit card.
However:
• The rental occurred during winter conditions (snow and rain).
• I provided clear photographic documentation of the vehicle condition.
• Enterprise confirmed in writing that the damage could not be proven based on the submitted images.
Despite this, the amount was charged while the dispute was still open.

Avoid Enterprise GO in Switzerland at all costs!

Avoid Enterprise GO in Switzerland at all costs!

This was the worst rental experience I have ever had. They gave me a faulty car that wouldn’t even start. Although I was able to unlock the car with the app, the engine was broken and completely unusable.

Despite being charged for the rental, I could not drive the car even for a minute. I tried calling their help desk numerous times — no answer. I also emailed them, but got no reply.

In short:

They take your money.

They give you a faulty car.

They ignore your calls and emails.

Totally avoid this company. Save yourself the stress and go with any other rental agency in

Mixed - cheaper but worse than Mobility

Booking Process: unreliable, sometimes no reservations can be made at all.

Key in the app: also unreliable and clunky. I often have to wait a minute for the app to refresh and show me the key. Very awkward when refuelling or in a rush. Key in lockbox or keycard like mobility is better.

Cars: OK - dirty and scratched on the outside, but inside is good. They usually give me an automatic even though I book manual, which is boring.

Annoying issues: cars are missing standard accessories - no Parkscheibe, and if you want to travel to other countries you need to bring your own country CH sticker, yellow vest, first aid kit, etc. Mobility includes all of these items in or on the car.
