I ordered engraved bottle for my wife’s…

I ordered engraved bottle for my wife’s birthday and payed extra for next day delivery. An absolute waste of money!

The bottle never turned up and when I emailed you, there was no reply what so ever. I couldn’t even track the item, that option was unavailable.

I really regret making a purchase with you, I will definitely not make that mistake again.

No communication, customer service nor customer support. I’m gutted!

I can see your order was submitted December 26th which is boxing day and a Bank holiday. On this day both ourselves and the couriers do not work and we therefore received your order on the 27th and this was delivered the next day the 28th.

We are sorry for any bad experience you had with your order and if wish to order again please let us know and we will add complementary gift wrapping or shipping upgrade for you.

Very happy with image and engraved Cristal bottle

Ordered a bottle of champagne with engraving and image as last min Christmas present. Excellent service and staff was very helpful and friendly throughout ordering process. Bottle arrived before Christmas and very impressed with product. Will definitely recommend!

Fantastic customer service

Fantastic customer service, we ordered an engraved bottle of Grey Goose for my stepson who has just had his passing out parade with the army. When we first received the bottle we were a bit disappointed with the outcome, but they couldn’t have been more helpful fixing it for us & ensuring we were happy , recommended

Amazing

Amazing! Engraved Just how I wanted . Perfect gift for your love ones
Paid extra for next day delivery, received 3 days after I placed the order so allow couple of extra days if you need it to Be delivered by particular date. However it’s worth the money !

During black Friday week 2019

During black Friday week 2019, we came across EngraveDrinks offering an excellent deal on a Jeroboam of Bollinger being engraved for the price of £205.19. This seemed a good deal as the nearest cost was £195 delivered but did not offer the special personalisation and engraving service. It was a very special year for us, so we went with EngraveDrinks as we'd then have a bottle to keep afterwards as a memory.
A couple of weeks after order we received a call saying they may be unable to engrave the Bollinger Jeroboam due to its size and shape and if they were unable to offer this service, would we still accept the bottle supply only. We noted that since the order, prices had now increased and we would not be able to get the special offers available so we agreed.
Our bottle arrived without any personalisation and engraving and when I explained to my team why, they all went back onto EngraveDrinks website and could clearly see that Engraving and Personalisation of a Jeroboam of Bollinger was still advertised and marketed on the website, even showing an image of an engraved bottle! We wrote to EngraveDrinks to ask why this was a service that was on offer but they had failed to do this for us.
Hazel from EngraveDrinks informed us that although they do have this clearly on offer on their website (at a much higher price of circa £250), it was showing as 'Out of Stock.' She asked us why we were upset with this as we had agreed to take the bottle if they could not engrave it.
I explained over and over to Hazel that it was the principal that they are advertising a service and product (with pictures) that they cannot deliver and this is misleading. She repeated annoyingly - it depends how you look at it. I explained that we felt upset because it clearly looks like they did not engrave our bottle to save costs rather than it not being possible (saving costs because they had to source one specula for us - something she had said on her call). If it were not possible, it should not be advertised on their website as a product available for personalisation currently. Hazel repeated that it depends how you look at it. We ended the call with sheer frustration and informed EngraveDrinks we would not be taking a further purchase from them in the future as their advert is still misleading - they advertise a product they cannot provide...in or out of stock! We feel we did not get an engraved bottle as it would cost them more to do. Wish we had ordered with the cheaper champagnedirect.co.uk in the first place, a company that advertises what they can offer!

We’ve since made changes to the Jeraboam items on the store, removing personalisation as we cannot offer this temporarily.

We did advise you after purchase and asked if you still wanted the bottle, which you accepted.

The reason we couldn’t engrave at the time was not for profit reasons - only due to new machinery installation.

However we understand your frustration with being excited by our products and low prices, to then be told we cannot provide on this occasion.

We are offering to resolve the matter, if you would allow us to discuss with you. (Including engraving the bottle when it becomes available).

However if you don’t wish to communicate with us, we’re unable to provide an outcome you are happy with.

Very happy with service

Really happy with the service from start to finish. Website was easy to use. I initially left out the first line of the shipping address and Hazel in customer service was very helpful and the package got delivered to London in under 3 days. Recipient was delighted with gift. Couldn’t ask for more.

Really brilliant service

Really brilliant service, I cannot fault their customer services.
I ordered an engraved bottle for my daughter’s birthday, and they have gone out of their way to ensure it gets to her on time. I wasn’t sure what to buy, but liked the idea of a personalised bottle.
I will definitely use them again, thank you very much for going above and beyond!

Amazing and first class service

Where to start , from start to finish they were amazing. The bottle that was engraved looked amazing. Would recommend to everyone looking for some thing special and will be telling eveyone i can about them.
Delivery was fast and arrived when promised. Made my brothers wedding day.

I ordered a bottle of Vodka

I ordered a bottle of Vodka, had it engraved, paid extra for larger text. It was a keepsake for my son after passing his A'levels. Package arrived , packaging was good , but metal lid has a gap in and neck is dented. This was prior to packing so they would have seen it clearly. Contacted Engrave Drinks immediately,. Sent photos. Their reply was swift but told me there was nothing they could/would do,it was their bottle suppliers fault. Pointed out I was their customer. I paid over £30 for a damaged item. Contacting trading standards as they are now not responding to emails. NOT A QUALITY PRODUCT!

Thank you for your feedback and sorry that you are unhappy with your order. From the photographs you have kindly sent over we can see that there is a small dent in the red collar of the Smirnoff vodka bottle top which has probably been brought about from the security tag being removed by our suppliers.

Although we are as selective as possible with stock and choose the best bottles for our customer orders it is not always possible to avoid any slight blemishes or minor defects such as this as the manufacturer product the bottles for general consumption.

I hope the gift is enjoyed and please do get back to me regarding the free gift wrapping we have offered in our email reply.

Amazing quality

Amazing quality, my friend loved her personalised disaronno and it was so much more thoughtful and meaningful than just a bottle of alcohol, the customer service is fantastic and they can’t do enough for you, I would definitely recommend this company and will use them again in the future.

At the moment I am not very happy.

At the moment I am not very happy.

I ordered a Father's day gift first thing in Thursday morning. I did not receive a correct email. But after seeing other reviews and the website they said this was an expected error they are having. So I left it as others had said they still received their gifts.

However, even though I had paid the £10 for next day delivery my bottle has not turned up and now have nothing to give my father tomorrow.

I did email 9am ish this morning as there is no number to contact an I have not been replied to. So thought maybe my order did not go through. But the money has been taken for the gift.

Seems like a bit hit and miss for people.

We've since reduced the price of next day delivery to 7.99 as this method is not guaranteed and only successful 95% of the time - which it stated below the option.

For very urgent/ unmissable gifts we recommend the (next day *guaranteed) delivery, which was available at the time of your purchase. Although a little more expensive, this guarantees next day delivery before 1pm.

We are working on reducing the cost for delivery further and parenting with more consistent delivery services.
