The tour was very interesting. Unfortunately the tasting was billed on the web site as being multiple samples with small bottles that the designated driver could take home.

Sadly there was just 1 sample of the bog standard version sold in their shop.

No samples for the driver.

Not worth the £75 that we paid for 3 people.

My advice…. Watch a virtual tour of any distillery online, buy 2 good bottles of whiskey, stay at home and have a nice evening with friends and loved ones.

I visited the whiskey shop in the Norwich area with my friend just to have a look around. When we entered, the shop assistant was sitting on the windowsill, chatting with someone else. We couldn’t find what we were looking for, so as we were leaving, we said goodbye – but instead of responding politely, the assistant mockingly said, “This isn’t a swimming pool!”

Only later did we realise she must have been referring to our footwear – we were wearing sandals because it was over 30°C outside. I have never felt so humiliated by a sales assistant in my life. Completely unprofessional and disrespectful.

Have beeen on the tour which was fantastic and tried various whiskies all of which were a credit to their pride in what they do. I will always have a bottle ready to enjoy. Sadly their award winning whisky was so popular it sold out, hope it will return soon.

Well what can I say just fantastic never thought any whiskey from anywhere apart from Scotland can Make a malt this single malt is as good as any malt whiskey’s I’ve had from Scotland Congratulations can’t wait to tast another one 5stars

I visited the English Whiskey Company with my son in law 28/01/24 for a 2 hour tour which included a tasting session. Our tour guide Lee was excellent in explaining the full process of making malt whiskey he had a great sense of humour, and interacted well with the tour group some of the group had experienced the tour before, but everyone enjoyed the experience. The tasting experience was also excellent we all had a bit of a laugh trying to fathom out the differences between the five testers I think we had done quite well overall a great experience definitely go again.

My sister and I went for a staycation to Forest Lodge Thorpe Park, in October. The English Whisky Company was one of our places of interest. It did not disappoint, in fact it exceeded our expectations. Absolutely great place of interest. The staff are terrific, and so very friendly and welcoming. The guide, Sandie, was so knowledgable and great fun, I dare you not to have a fun visit with her. It also has a brilliant shop and great tasting - I do not even like whisky. Thoroughly recommend visiting this company if you are in the vicinity. We visited a distillery in Inverness which was 4 times larger than this one but was nowhere near as good.
