You pay for one course, but they eventually start automatically taking money from your account every month without clear consent. You can not stop it.

Posting this as a warning to everyone because I almost got screwed by EF English Live’s sales tactics.

I signed up for a Premium course after an interview with an advisor. I asked point-blank: "Can I cancel anytime for free if the platform does not meet my expectations?" The advisor literally said: "Yes, you can cancel anytime, plus there's a 90-day money-back guarantee."

Fast forward: I wasn’t happy with the platform (bad teachers, useless self-study material), so I wanted to cancel.
Support told me: "Sure, you can cancel... but you have to pay a 30% penalty fee." That’s almost $600 USD.

When I told them their advisor promised it was free, they basically told me the "fine print" in the Terms & Conditions overrides anything a human says to you.
The best part? I requested my data/call recording. They actually sent it to me. I listened to it, and the advisor is on tape lying about the cancellation terms to get me to sign up. When I sent them the timestamp of the lie, they didn't apologize—they just offered me a "15% discount" on the penalty.

They are literally trying to charge me $500+ for a lie they caught themselves telling.

TLDR: EF English Live advisors will tell you whatever you want to hear to get your card info, then hide behind hidden fees.

Unfortunately, my experience was very bad. The customer service was extremely unprofessional and rude. When I told them that I needed time to think and would get back to them because the price was high, I was told, “What is there to think about if you already find the price expensive?” and the call was ended.
This is an online course, yet the price is highly overpriced — $1,200 for only six months. I do not recommend dealing with them.
The employee was Syrian or Lebanese.

EF English Live has a very comprehensive platform for learning English. I'm very excited to participate in this course.

EF English Live is a great place to learn English. And I'm very proud to have studied there in recent years. Although it's very challenging for someone whose mother tongue is French, I succeeded thanks to you, the EF English Team.

Basically you´re updating the courses as: having AI training programs. What´d really great is that improve the classes since I´notice that the topics are always the same.

A great school with friendly teachers and fun classes. The only difficulty is in the groups due to my English, as the teachers don't understand my language. I especially want to highlight Jorge Orozco, who is exceptionally kind and understands me super well.

When booking a one-on-one class, a grace period could be allowed for entering the classroom so as not to lose the class, since it is difficult to find available times.

In the grammar section of self-study, it would be helpful to add markdowns in order to come back and go over the lesson.
In the group lessons would be wonderful to reduce the amount of students per class up to a maximum to 4 because so far, I noticed that the least the better so teacher can give you a better feedback and prolong the conversation by each speaking member.

Actually, EF is a professional learning school. I had an amazing experience with EF English Live learning system.

I am very grateful for my experience with you. All the teachers were excellent and gave their all to help us improve our language skills.

The classes helped me learn English, and the person who explained how the whole system works was exceptional.

Most of classes are so good. But sometimes was bad.

​Massive waste of time. Half of the 40-minute class is spent every day just on "introduce yourself." No real learning happens.
​They lied about student levels. They promised students would be the same level, but they are not (beginners are mixed with advanced).
​Poor teachers. Most do not listen, and in some classes, the teacher never asked me to speak one word.
​I complained to their support team about these quality issues and they completely ignored my message. But when it's about money, they send millions of emails.

Teachers are great, the self-study materials are not boring and very useful. I really enjoy them, and I can find group classes whenever I need. It's really convenient for me because I don't have much time to spend on my education.
