Danny at Engine Reborn literally brought my 2009 Mini Cooper S back to life and it now drives like a new car! Genuinely a lovely guy who's just completely at home under the bonnet of a car and even though rebuilding and reconditioning this sporty car was quite a challenge, he kept at it until it was running like a dream. His communication over WhatsApp was super helpful and he regularly supplied video updates of the car during the work being done. Just been back to get the first service under warranty and am very happy. I'd totally recommend this business.

Danny and his team brought back to life a car that had been sitting on our driveway for nearly 10 months with the engine in bits (cutesy of another garage) in the boot.
His original quote wasn’t the cheapest but he provided a solution that no one else did, another recon engine (supply/fit) rather than repair my old one. Whilst I pondered over the quote, and went back to him 2.5 weeks later, price had jumped £450!! Although wasn’t happy with this and couldn’t understand why that much I went ahead - glad I did as the team done a cracking job, and at speed. I used the opportunity to get the clutch replaced and few other ancillaries. Danny got me those parts at his discounted rates :) This helped offset the increase in price for engine.
Kept me updated with photos & video snapshots.
At times I did have to wait to replies to my calls/texts which was little frustrating and had to mention to Danny. He explained it was because they were very busy ….. which is evident when you go see their garage. He took my feedback on board and got better with comms.

I would say is ensure you understand what you’re paying for as per agreed quote and what are additional costs before works have started, so is no ambiguity. Also to advise Danny likes to payment after each agreed section of works is complete, with full payment before you go to collect vehicle, and I like to hold little back until I have fully inspected the finished product.

Overall very pleased with service - thank you! Have already recommended Danny to others.

Top job done by these guys. My BMW -x police ARV need total engine rebuild. Was quoted reasonable price compare to the competitors and no hickups in the process. Videos and pictures shared during the process were helpful and gave me the much needed assurance my car was in safe hand. Would defo recommend engine reborn guys. Nice one boys!!!

Danny and he`s team were 1st class from start to finish. I was kept up to date and was sent video and picture updates of progress on a regular basis
Overall the car was managed and repaired perfectly and the aftercare was amazing

I recommend engine Reborn, I took my mazda 6 there for head gasket issues, they quoted me to have the engine rebuilt to which I agreed to, I was kept up to date every step of the way via whats app. Now the job is done the engine is running like new without any issues, very happy with the service and would use again

Sent my MR2 here to have an engine rebuild. Danny was amazing. Kept me up to date with progress with texts, videos and pics. Very quick turnover time. Gave me some great tips on how to seal a leak in my soft-top. Polite and professional.

Not very good...i gave my car to checked and assessed as it seemed that something was wrong with engine...i asked to diagnose it and let me know They said its engine which is gone and gave me 2000£ quote for it. Later they kept addiing different parts including clutch, turbo, oil pump, 4 conrods, 4 cyclinder block liners, sleeves , water pump, crank shaftcosted me additional 1670£ in addition to the previous quote so total now 3670£. The car was with them for 2 months. Also, later i was told that fuel pump and injectors are no working as well and changed one injectors and some other part costed me 475£ again. Other injectors were still left to be changed. At the end they told friend of michenic came in and he said you know what ECU might have gone. So they informed me ECU is gone and they don repair it and someone they knew would take 6 weeks. So they told me they cant keep my car in their and i have to take it and make all payments. I was robbed. They should have diagnosed it to start with that what all is wrong, i would hvae never gone through it. now after all this i lost car to scrap. costed total of around 3900£ and car was not working and had to scrap it.
