Looking for a reliable, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring partner in sustainability?

We can’t thank Energy2 Solar enough for the incredible difference they’ve made to our school. From the very beginning, their team demonstrated not only genuine care and a deep understanding of our needs—but also exceptional technical know-how that gave us complete confidence in their work.
As a small rural school, every decision we make carries weight. Energy2 took the time to listen carefully and understand our priorities, both financially and educationally. Their expert advice helped us make informed choices, and their technical knowledge meant the design and installation of our solar system was both efficient and future-proof.
The entire project was executed seamlessly—from initial consultation through to installation and activation. Communication was clear and timely, and everything was completed with minimal disruption to school life.
Thanks to the energy savings we’re now seeing, we’re proud to say we can retain a teaching assistant this year—something that will have a real and lasting impact on our pupils. In addition, the display screen installed by Energy2 provides a tangible, real-time educational resource, helping our students engage with sustainability and energy usage in a way that’s meaningful and accessible.
We wholeheartedly recommend Energy2 Solar to any school or organisation looking for a reliable, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring partner in sustainability.

The right company for new technology

We worked with Shaun Butler at Energy2 to supply and install a battery for our new air source heat pump. It was a pleasure working with him. We were extremely impressed by Shaun’s knowledge of the technology and overall understanding of the energy industry. It was good to work with someone who has a genuine passion for what he builds and sells. In addition to his attention to our project he was able to solve a problem we had with a previous inverter that made too much noise (it was subtle but still noticeable) with a silent replacement that’s perfect for our house.

The world of heat pumps, batteries and solar panels is a new minefield. Shaun can guide you through it, giving you the peace of mind that you're getting what you need for the right price. Highly recommended.

I'd give 6 stars if I could

Shaun and his team were the only company that I spoke to who genuinely understood what was needed for a professional battery and solar install - and I spoke to at least 4 or 5. Everyone else tried to sell me a 5KW battery with a few panels and simple, bog-standard inverter for a quick and cheap sale. I found the actual truth is none of those are fit for purpose for me, or 99% of houses because the batteries will only last you until about 10am, and then you're pulling off the grid at peak rate!

From day 1, the knowledge and expertise Shaun and Energy2 has is so far ahead and it comes across in the first 10 minutes of speaking with him.

And honestly, everything from the upfront consultation to the ordering, install and ongoing support has been amazing. I ended up with 12 panels and 20KW of batteries, plus an off-grid ready 8kw Victron inverter.

We have 2 electric cars I think I’ve saved at least 15% of the cost in the first year alone, which is crazy, and all because I’ve got the right kit, set up in the right way. I’d say my Electricity bills have gone from hundreds per month to about £75 to £80 on average. And that’s with Octopus too.

Everyone seems to be looking for solar and batteries and therefore loads of companies are trying to sell them – but there are so many who actually don’t know what they’re doing and selling a solution that just isn’t fit for purpose – I’d have barely saved any money at all if I’d gone with anyone else.

Energy2 were the only company to properly and clearly explain what I needed and why I needed it, so I actually save money and save energy!

Toyed with the idea of Batteties for some time before taking the leap…

I had been toying with the idea of batteries for some time and spoken to a number of suppliers, I ended up going with Energy2 due to the assistance provided all the way through the process.
From the off I spoke with Shaun who took me through the different battery options as well as inverters to let me decide on the suitable system, I ended up deciding on the energy2’s own batteries due to the longevity and style of them along with an inverter which could also act as a failover in the event of the grid going offline allowing me to dispose of a UPS I already had to keep my network up and running.
We then moved onto installation dates which Shaun and the team were very accommodating for and they turned up to install, the installation went smoothly as they had pre-prepared a lot of the system to reduce the downtime of power to the house, they were friendly and put up with me constantly asking questions throughout the installation cleaned up after themselves. There was an issue with one of the boards in one of the battery but this didn’t stop them being able to bring the system online, they were able to swap the board out quickly and commission the system along with providing me with all the paperwork to be able to sell excess power back to the grid.
The batteries themselves look great and modern with useful led’s around them to show the state of charge of the batteries, they also look to be easy to service should I need to get energy2 out at any point in the future and the overall installation looks clean and tidy.
Overall very satisfied with the installation, I would highly recommend them and will be going back to them when I want to upgrade as I am looking at perhaps getting some solar panels in the future.
