Endomondo & The Very Very Poor Service .....my Expriences...plEASE Read before trying it could prove to be Expensive...

Hi.

Having been with Endomondo since erm let me see ..probably qround 2013 i generally had a Positive Experience that is until i had to actually Contact Endomondo - they like to take your money but they are very Poor at responding Accurately & Relevantly to your Concerns...

My main Issue i have with Endomondo is that since 2017 when Under Armour took control the Customer Service & Value for Money has Plummeted Drastically..

the cost of Premium was £21 upto 2017 and when Under Armour took over the Cost for the Same Premium is wait for it either £59 based on Monthly(never never ending because you forget) payments of around £4.99
Similarly if you Pay VIA GOOGLE it costs £40 as a Yearly Cost & get this - Pay via Google then after payment has gone through Cancel Payment whereby you will be Paid until the end of the year AND YOU WILL NOT BE AUTOMATICALLY RENEWED - A VERY SNEAKY TRICK FROM UNDER ARMOUR - NOT TO BE TRUSTED IN MY EXPERIENCE & IT SEEMS ON HERE FROM OTHERS

Regarding Service & CONTACT yet again Under Armour Excels is making it VERY VERY VERY DIFFICULT to actually CONTACT THEM - You really really have to SEARCH hIGH & LOW TO FIND HOW TO MAKE CONTACT WITH THEM

If the above was Not BAD OR POOR ENOUGH the responses you generally receive to Concerns are shall we say at Best POOR & IRRELEVANT to the Concerns Raised - either they are shall we say rather DIM or as i think very SELECTIVE in their responses

So the Moral of the story is NEVER AUTOMATICALLY RENEW WITH UNDER ARMOUR & question what they are charging (just as i h ave done before writing this review) and Then if you still want to go ahead do it Annually Via Google then Cancel so as Not to INVOKE THE SNEAKY AUTO RENEWAL OPTION PUT IN PLACE BY THE SNEAKY TACTICS MENTIONED ABOVE

Sync issues and web site (endomondo.com) has big issues.

My workouts have problems syncing. It has been like that for several months. Long after finishing my run, often the web site says I'm still out running. Today I ran 15k and the workout on the web site has the correct time, but only 1,3k logged. It usually syncs after a while, but today it has been like this for 8 hours. App says "not able to sync".

I have premium subscribtion but I'm done with endomondo and will not look back.

Impossible to contact customer support

Impossible to contact customer support via the form on their website. "Email not submitted." is the message that keeps popping up.

Can't see the route it tracked. Just ran my longest run ever and the app was supposed to notify me about that but it didn't, and I wanted to go through the route, but sadly it's just not there for me to view.

Update: Now 2 weeks later, the errors in the app have finally been fixed. So I am now giving 4 stars instead of 1.

Slow

Slow. Used to be really good. Now just slow. Feels as if it is left to die?

Not stable for workouts

As a satisfied premium customer 10 years+, i have to admit Endomondo becomes more and more unstable to the point, where i rather want to change to another app, well knowing i will loose years of data. But the alternative is worse and unstable app, where i can not analyse my data after workout and sometimes have to wait days.... a shame
