Document import not intuitive.
Convoluted.

I continue to use Mendeley and Zotero intuitively, simply and freely.

Not sure why I paid for convolution?

Meh. I write scientific manuscripts and grants for a living and have not used EndNote in over 20 years. Recently, I have started working with several large clients that use it. Frankly, it's the pits. It's overpriced, isn't compatible with OneDrive/the cloud, and is clunky when citing directly from your browser. As it's so expensive, it's baffling that free products such as Zotero and Mendeley are so much better in every way. I just spent $247 for the program and now I've got to spend another $150 or so to upgrade to a cloud-compatible version. It screws up my documents in sometimes inexplicable ways, in which even tech support can't figure out, costing me well over $1000 in lost time and work since downloading in Feb 2023. I'm not sure why large institutions go all in on EndNote, leaving employees/researchers stuck with a crummy tool that isn't user friendly. Stick to Zotero if you don't need to work in Word Online or Mendeley if you do.

Easy to use (relatively)
Saves so much time with formatting and I love the integration with MS Word.

Ease of use and fast for adding to library and organization. Hands down, EndNote is >>>> better than refworks.

new versions are getting worst compared to old version with user friendly. There is no user friendly environment. Most people use this software to update references for publication and recent version and updates are getting useless and more confusing. we are buying software to get easy to use, not getting wasting our time to figure it out, what functions where.

It is slow. Not user friendly . Makes my whole Mac slow.

Couldn't write up my research without Endnotes. Every university should instruct students in it's use. Surprisingly, they do not!

Endnote has been a game changer for me. I have been able to write and publish 3 studies this year. The ease of using endnote makes the flow of writing effortless.

Endnote helps me catalog, format, and organize my references.

if there is ever a problem I can find solution on website. EN interfaces well in area of expertise and with colleagues. It does not interface with Zotero and I wish people would not fall the 'free' nature of Zotero. it sucks.

EndNote is not that user friendly. Initially, getting to know the various options had took a learning curve that was manageable. But I have not been able to use EndNote because it freezes, consistently. I open it, and an update prompt comes whlie the appplication itself never gets going. I don't know if it's too late to get a refund because the program simply does not work on my PC desktop. But I spent money on unused software.

Endnote gives me a system for organizing everything I have read. I primarily use Endnote to store notes on each item, questions that I can ask my students, and links to the source document. I also use Endnote to instantly create reading lists or bibliographies. Because by Endnote database is automatically synced to the web, whether I work at home or my office I am always using the same information. I recently upgraded to Endnote X20 which has additional advanced features, but to be honest, I don't use those features.

Great way to track various scientific journals and articles. It’s also easy table to integrate references, into a word document and adjust references as I’m moving around and edit text within my papers.

EndNote has 2 major problems for me.
1) EndNote does not work smoothly with WordPerfect.
2) New imports are hidden by formatted space within the EndNote window.

Easy to navigate and web learning tools are amazing

First, the program has been most useful to me and easy to use. Secondly, I had some problems of my own doing that your help desk was very responsive to and helped me solve the problem (and not point out how dumb I was). So everything has been prompt, courteous, and helpful. Please note I have not gone back to check exactly when the interaction(s) took place: it happened a couple of times in the last couple of years.

EndNote is very easy to use when I inserted citations. EndNote always helps me to work efficiently. Also, I can log my reading journey into Research Note.

I had several problems and a call to the service department solved the problem. *****
