Endeavour Law has been supporting clients since 2013. We have experienced solicitors providing clear, practical advice across all areas of family law, including divorce, finances, and child arrangements. Our team works nationally, offering consultations by phone and WhatsApp for convenience, as well as in-person meetings at our three offices in Bridgend, Church Village, and London. *** Alongside family law, we have a well-established private client and conveyancing department. Director Meinir Evans leads our Church Village office, while Head of Private Client Joanne Matthews is based in Pencoed, offering trusted advice on conveyancing, wills, lasting powers of attorney, and deputyship applications. *** For our London clients, consultant solicitor Dean Vickery provides advocacy and flexible support, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends, ensuring busy professionals can access advice when they need it most. *** Frequently Asked Questions *** Q: How long does a divorce take in England and Wales? * A: A divorce takes a minimum of 26 weeks. This includes a 20-week reflection period after the application is issued and a further 6-week waiting period before applying for the final order. It can take longer if financial or child arrangements are still being resolved. *** Q: What am I entitled to after a divorce? * A: Entitlement depends on the length of the marriage, financial contributions, and future needs of both parties. The court’s aim is to reach a fair outcome, which does not always mean a 50/50 split. *** Q: What happens if my ex denies me access to the children? * A: You can apply for a child arrangements order. If granted, this sets out when the children spend time with each parent. Breaching the order can result in legal consequences. *** Q: How long does conveyancing usually take? * A: Most property transactions take between 8 and 12 weeks, depending on factors such as the length of the chain, mortgage offers, and searches. Our private client team will guide you through the process to keep things on track. *** Q: Why should I make a will? * A: A will ensures your estate passes according to your wishes. Without one, the intestacy rules apply, which may not reflect what you want. It can also make things simpler and less stressful for your loved ones. *** Q: What is a lasting power of attorney (LPA)? * A: An LPA allows you to appoint someone you trust to make decisions about your finances or health and welfare if you are no longer able to do so. Setting one up gives you control and peace of mind. *** Q: What is a deputyship order? * A: If someone has lost capacity and has not made an LPA, their family may need to apply to the Court of Protection for a deputyship order. This gives authority to manage their financial affairs and make decisions in their best interests.

Divorce with no stress or worries

I used quickie divorce online to start my divorce back in February and they handed me over to Endeavour Law, they made things simple to understand and did the whole process for me, I could communicate through email or WhatsApp and the staff were always polite and helpful, took all the fears and worries out of my hands and kept me informed through everything so I can't fault them. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who wants to divorce without all the stresses to do all the paperwork, they do everything for you, thank you so much guys

Unfortunately not able to recommend

I initially felt confident regarding my initially contact with Endeavour Law. Unfortunately this was short lived.

Their conduct was nothing short of incompetent. Constantly emailing for more money, I felt sending correspondence that was unnecessary in some instances to use up funds that I had deposited to the point I was very reluctant to even ask a simple question.

It became very stressful and not a fluid journey that had been portrayed. Considering their was no animosity between myself and my ex-husband and nothing was being contended it became a 12 month journey of being on edge. They had all the information they requested yet did not compile this into a document as required/requested by the court. Even the judge commented that the D81 was confusing and at points difficult to understand, I paid a significant amount of money to ensure it was proof read by their solicitor to avoid this - yet when challenged about this the company/solicitor became very defensive.

Even charging me for proof reading the workings of their trainee solicitor who stood in for a period of time where their assigned solicitor was on holiday???

The financial clean break order has now been concluded, face to face in court and myself and my ex-husband even had to comment in court that the legal advice and conduct of the company fell far below the standard that we felt was acceptable and that myself and my ex-husband had started to compare communications as there was little or no confidence left by the end.

I say this with great honesty, please consider other options, I am unable to recommend this company.

Extremely disappointing experience

Extremely disappointing experience — £699 paid and refund not resolved

I paid £699 for this service based on specific information and assurances about the support I would receive. My experience did not match those expectations. I understood that I would have access to a qualified solicitor, yet I ended up dealing with a Case Handler/Case Worker. During a phone call, Martine Miles, Complaint Manager, told me that she could act as my Case Handler and connect me directly with a qualified solicitor.

I also have serious concerns about the Terms & Conditions. I was told they would be sent to me by email, but I did not receive them, and I did not sign or expressly agree to them. Despite this, I was later told that I had agreed to the Terms & Conditions. This was particularly concerning because I had never received the document I was supposedly agreeing to.

The refund process was equally disappointing. I understood that a 30-day refund guarantee applied. When I requested a refund, instead of simply resolving my request, I was repeatedly offered reduced fees to continue with the company. In an email, Martine Miles, Complaint Manager, wrote: “Our offer to continuing the process and reduce your fee by £200.00 still stands.” She then wrote: “Please let me know if you want to close the file down and receive £200.00 refund or continue at the reduced fee mentioned above.” In effect, the options presented to me were to continue with the company at a reduced fee or close my file and receive only £200.

I spent 8 days trying to resolve the matter before having to raise a dispute with my bank. In another email, Martine Miles wrote: “I am sorry if this gave the impression that a full refund had been confirmed.” She also stated: “My offer to refund the unused Clean Break element of your service remains open.” These statements are particularly important because they show in their own written correspondence how the refund was ultimately being handled.

During a phone conversation, I was also asked not to post a review and was given one week for the refund issue to be resolved. I gave them that opportunity, but the matter was not resolved.

I have retained the relevant emails and WhatsApp messages and will share selected excerpts so that potential customers can judge the situation from the correspondence themselves. Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend that anyone considering this company carefully verifies exactly what service they are paying for, who will actually handle their case, what Terms & Conditions they have received and agreed to, and exactly what refund they can realistically expect if they decide not to continue.

Extremely disappointing experience

Extremely disappointing experience. Poor communication, hidden costs and unprofessional service.

I would strongly advise anyone considering using Endeavour Law to think twice, particularly when it comes to their transparency regarding fees.

When I initially approached the firm regarding a property transfer, I was quoted £700 plus VAT. I accepted the quotation and paid the requested amount upfront, hoping the matter would be dealt with quickly and efficiently.

However, I was subsequently informed of an additional £175 charge relating to a covenant. To my disbelief, the overall cost then increased to over £1,700, despite the original quotation being significantly lower. These additional charges were not made clear to me at the outset, and had I been informed of the true cost, I would have reconsidered instructing the firm.

To make matters worse, the legal documents I then received were incorrect. I had explicitly instructed the firm to transfer the property solely into my mother’s name. Instead, the documents were prepared to transfer the property into both my name and my mother’s name. This is a fundamental error concerning the very purpose for which I instructed them.

Communication has been equally frustrating. I have attempted to resolve these issues directly, including requesting a telephone conversation, but have encountered difficulties getting matters addressed. What should have been a relatively straightforward transaction has become unnecessarily stressful and time-consuming.

I find it completely unacceptable that a professional legal firm can provide an initial quotation, subsequently increase the charges so substantially and then produce documentation that does not reflect the client’s instructions.

My experience has left me extremely disappointed in both the service provided and the lack of transparency regarding costs.

I would not recommend Endeavour Law based on my experience. I would strongly encourage prospective clients to obtain a comprehensive written breakdown of all potential fees before instructing this firm.

I instructed the firm back in July and now in October I am no closer to the completion of the work. My emails and phone calls are being ignored and left answered.

I have paid £960 for divorce advise

I have paid £960 for divorce advise . They had a trainee solicitor ringing me, I did tell them when they got to £960 that was that. They sent one letter had one reply now they trying to say I owe them another £177 I know solicitors expensive, but this is unfair when I said £960 was my limit can they not follow instructions . I was also told that as soon as the £960 ran out no more work would be done. So how can they try and charge me more. Noticed on here they reply try to be helpful not to believe the reply it's for show only.

I used a company called quickie divorce who in turn use this company endeavour law
I paid 699 for a complete package for my divorce and was never told about any extra charges and even asked this in my initial consultation but only 3 minutes into my first consultation with a solicitor they said needed to pay a further 70 pounds to trace my x partner but this was never mentioned in my first call infact the payment 0ff 699 I was told was the premium package with everything included apart from court costs so one these prople asked for a further 70 pounds for additional extras I decided to cancel my divorce with them and now im having to take legal action against them because they won't give me my money back and have done nothing to earn a penny from me and now they refuse to send me the recorded phone call where they say I agreed to additional charges and im wondering why
Please be very cautious before handing these back street solicitors any money at all

Do not use these so called solicitors…

Do not use these so called solicitors for example

You ring the number get a receptionist answer who then bounces you around several people who have no idea who to put you through to....

Then you have the farcical info email address that nobody seems to access so any emails sit in a black hole

Nobody calls you back nobody 💯 this firm is a shell they seem to have no actual solicitors but farm out work and then skim of the top on whatever they charge you

You have been warned ⚠️

This is an update of my review of 22nd…

This is an update of my review of 22nd June. This company contacted me to discuss and clarify the situation..a satisfactory resolution has been reached with a partial refund being offered and the offer to use certain services using the portion of the money they retain. The member of staff who dealt with me, this week, demonstrated a proffessionalism and desire to resolve my issue, which had been lacking from one or two of my earlier contacts with them. Once fully discussed, I was treated courteously and I would say fairly. I am happy to report good service and understanding.

Worst customer service I have experienced

Absolutely terrible. They were tardy with my clean break agreement, didn’t compete the forms accurately and this may get the clean break agreement rejected, wasting 12 months and £2k.

Their website states we get “full support throughout” and nothing could be further from the truth. When we asked for assistance with the issues caused by poorly completed forms, they stated they are merely a “form filling service” and could not even do this properly. It’s safe to say this is the worst customer service I have ever experienced and I would caution anyone from using Endeavour Law.

Thank you for taking the time to share this. Endeavour Law does not offer a clean break form filling service. Fixed fee clean break order services offered by other firms are typically priced under £500. A case involving a spend in the region of £2,000 would relate to a financial order. We would like to be able to look into this for you. Can you please respond to our request for your details so that we can locate you on our system?

Do not use them

Do not use them, use AI and do it yourself.
I am extremely disappointed with the service I received from this firm during what was already a very stressful period.
Despite always making payments promptly, often within hours, I experienced poor communication and a clear lack of client focus. On one occasion, I missed a payment email as I was on leave, and I was told no update could be provided until payment was made. I paid immediately yet still had to chase for over three weeks to receive the update, which was critical to my case.
Throughout the process, I repeatedly had to follow up for progress updates, incurring additional costs each time. This is particularly frustrating given the firm’s advertised client portal, which was supposed to provide visibility but was not delivered in my experience.
I am also concerned about basic errors in my case, including the use of my exwife’s incorrect name and the omission of a £7,000 figure that had been clearly agreed. These were issues I identified myself and then had to pay to have corrected.
Overall, the experience has felt heavily focused on generating fees rather than delivering a professional service. The delays and additional costs, including increased payments, have had a real financial and personal impact, and have unnecessarily complicated what was originally an amicable situation.
Given the firm’s branding around efficiency and rapid service, this experience has been particularly disappointing. Communication has declined further recently, and I have had no response to my formal complaint or request for refund of unused payments. The first I knew was a mail from the court saying they no longer represented me.
