eMortgage Harassing Untrustworthy/Scam
Subject: Complaint Regarding Harassing and Questionable Mortgage Refinance Contacts
I am submitting this complaint regarding a company calling itself “eMortgage” or a similar name. This company has repeatedly contacted me by telephone, notary, delivery services, and email regarding refinancing my home mortgage, even after I issued a written request to cease and desist this harassment continues.
Their behavior has been unprofessional, intimidating, and concerning. They have attempted to pressure me into allowing a notary to telephone, come to my home, and on one occasion arranged for a pizza delivery driver to come to my residence and attempted to use the driver to get me on the phone. This is not standard or professional business conduct.
Phone numbers they have used are 248‑362‑5617, 248-480-4537, 248-266-0635, 586-209-6251, 248-918-4416, 248-833-6959, 864-502-1786, which appear to be associated with Michigan and South Carolina. However, I do not know their actual city or physical address, and they have not provided either.
I am attempting to identify this business, to determine whether it is legitimate, and record this complaint in your system so that other consumers may be informed.
