Dear Sir/Madam,

Approximately one week ago, I applied for a car loan with your bank, however, I have not received any feedback, either positive or negative, to date. I later learned from the authorized representative at the dealership where I intended to purchase the vehicle that my application was rejected.

What I do not understand and find concerning is the following:
I have been working steadily at the same company for nearly two years. While two of my colleagues, who work at the same company under the same procedures and with the same salary, had their car loan applications approved, mine was rejected. This situation gives the impression that the decision may have been person-specific.

Since all conditions are identical, it is difficult for me to understand the reason for this difference. Therefore, I kindly request that my application be reviewed in detail and that a clear explanation be provided to me.

I respectfully request your review and evaluation of this matter and look forward to your response.

Im a longstanding ENBD customer 35 years My family and I have been struggling with their customer service We had a dispute with our credit card and lost money As soon as we noticed the bank blocked my credit card Initially they assured us the issue would be resolved and the money would be replaced However they later asked us to proceed with a police case which we did We obtained a positive report from Dubai Police and submitted it to ENBD Despite this theyve been sending generic unhelpful responses to my emails Im frustrated with their service and dont know how to resolve this issue Could you please advise on the next steps or provide a contact for escalation I appreciate your assistance

This is not safe bank at all they…

This is not safe bank at all they debited automatically in my second account without any permission to my car loan. I didnt received any email or sms. I went to downtown branch they told me they can't resolved problem. I also send a screenshot and showed them i already paid but they ignore it they said customer service gonna call me but i didnt received any call from them and still now they didnt deduct my other payment. I even went to meydan branch to complain and ask them to help me but they didnt solve my problem at all. The point is you already have proof but they didnt even help you at all. they said they dont have access for that. Im really sad because i work hard for that. but their service they doesnt care about you complain.

Slowest bank

I applied for a small personal loan (less than the value of 6 salaries) through ENBD mobile app. I submitted all the required papers as requested by their phone call and email. But after 15 days the process is still going on and whenever I call the bank, a new agent will answer and ask me to submit the same papers again.
Finally I decided to stop answering their calls and messages and to move to a better bank.
Taking more than 2 weeks WITHOUT deciding about a very small personal loan is definitely a shame particularly in DUBAI where most services are super fast and amazing.
An extra star is given to their good mobile app.

Giving promises only to attract customers

I would like to formally express my significant dissatisfaction with the overall quality of service provided by Emirates NBD Bank in Dubai. Although the bank promotes itself as one of the leading financial institutions in the UAE, my personal experience has, unfortunately, been entirely inconsistent with that reputation.
My concerns began immediately after opening my account. The relationship manager who initially persuaded me to join the bank has not contacted me even once since the account was activated. Despite assurances that I would receive ongoing assistance and support, I have been left completely without guidance or follow-up. This lack of accountability reflects extremely poor customer relationship management.
Furthermore, for several weeks I have been attempting to resolve a very straightforward request: to have my loan installment debited directly from my Emirates NBD account instead of my LIV account. I have submitted this request repeatedly, yet every submission has resulted in nothing more than vague promises that the issue will be addressed. I have lost count of how many times I have been told that my request has been forwarded to “the concerned department,” an entity that seems to operate with no transparency and is entirely unreachable to customers. Every attempt to obtain clarification or an update leads only to automated responses and standard call-center messages. At no point has anyone from the bank taken the initiative to call me back or provide a meaningful update, despite numerous commitments to do so.
In addition to these unresolved service issues, I encountered another unprofessional incident at the Al Quoz branch. Without asking for my consent, the banker attempted to submit an application for a credit card on my behalf. The fact that this was done without my approval is deeply concerning and raises serious questions about ethical standards and internal controls. Fortunately, I noticed the email notification on my phone in time to intervene and insist that the application be cancelled immediately. Such behavior is entirely unacceptable in any financial institution, especially one that claims to prioritize customer trust and transparency.
Overall, my experience with Emirates NBD has been characterized by a lack of communication, poor organizational processes, unfulfilled promises, and, in some cases, questionable professional conduct. The level of service I have received is far below what should be expected from a bank that positions itself as a market leader in the UAE. I genuinely hope that senior management takes these issues seriously and implements the necessary improvements to ensure that other customers do not encounter similar frustrations.
Until meaningful changes are made, I cannot recommend Emirates NBD based on my experience.

fraud and long time to operate against it

Having a bank account with them, inexplicably, they allowed an unauthorized transaction outside of the UAE, and so far they haven't declined or reversed it, but instead they will give me some credit, which it's unacceptable and not fair since this is a fraud and because of the negligence of their system, I will owe my own money and I expect to have my money back as a refund. Now I have to wait for them for close to 3 months to resolve the investigation, a long time for something very important.

This kind of risk is not acceptable, and it talks a lot about the safety of their system when it is supposed to be one of the main banks in the UAE.

It’s the worse bank I have ever dealt with! To make it clear, they do not accept negative feedback on any of their platforms, rejecting it completely from
the start. I have an open complaint with them for over 2 months now, and all people I dealt with in this bank were having the same low level of professionalism. Currently still open, handled to Sanadak for further investigations! Outrageous…

I was victimized by a fraudulent…

I was victimized by a fraudulent transaction of ~40,000 AED via Apple Pay, even though I never used Apple Pay nor shared my OTP. The transaction reference is “Smart Government”.

I filed a complaint and provided all evidence, but my case was closed without explanation, and no one is taking responsibility. It has now been 6 months with no updates. This is not the first time this has happened, and other customers have faced similar issues.

I also contacted Sanadak for assistance to get my money back.

I demand that Emirates NBD contact me immediately to resolve this matter. If my case is not handled properly, I will leave negative reviews and strongly advise against using this bank on all platforms.

Not surprised seeing this low review rate.
Verry bad customer service. They just contact you to sell you loans daily ! And when you need to speak to a human being regarding any issue they start pushing you to the phone to speak to an agent that is useless . Had this experience today at a main branch in city walk and no one helped spent 20 mnts on the phone with an agent with a verry low voice that i couldn’t hear him and i asked him to call me on my number and he never did and all was witnessed by the lady that she is at the branch trying to help and saw everything and didn’t have anyting to say for me ! It’s a shame for such a bank ! Closing my account and never again !

Worst customer service in UAE!

I've dealt with banks in many countries, but this one has by far the worst customer service I've ever experienced. I thought Masreq bank is worst. The service is incredibly frustrating — they delay processes to the point where you end up paying more, and there's a clear lack of consideration for the customer.

Instead of resolving issues, they keep transferring you from one department to another, none of which are able or willing to help. Even something as basic as closing an account is taking forever. Their staff has been unhelpful, only email will take forever to respond, and the overall experience feels like they’re making things deliberately difficult. It was a nightmare!!

Just don't do it

Do not open an Emirates NBD account if you might ever leave the country. It is currently October and I've been trying to close my account since January. Eventually I was able to, literally in August, only now to find out that they kept my credit card open because there was "payment due" (there was a positive balance on the card when I requested to cancel it) and keep upping the cost. They're just trying to bleed you dry and make life impossible, go with an international bank instead.

Bad experience

Guys please don’t open any credit card in this NBD emirates bank , they are changing a lot of money without letting the customer know,
I have very bad experience with this bank

Extremely terrible
