Would also rate 0 stars. I made an order for blinds but never received them. My attempts to contact customer service led nowhere. No refund and very poor customer service. Do not recommend.

Update, all sorted and in fairness I think they were let down by couriers, as were we. Apart from a small issue we're very happy with the shutters.

It's a shame that Emerald Blinds decided to ignore us. This is our second set of perfect fit shutters. The first one was great. The second one had a defective handle opening (there wasn't one which makes the window useless as you can't open it). We've been trying to get in touch since August to get it rectified, totally wasn't out fault... And nothing! No calls, we've called X5 times emailed and raised a ticket x6. Next stop, trading standards as the warranty is not honoured. Shame, but don't order from here. If they don't get it right first time, it's the customers issue.

I would rate zero stars. Ordered over a month ago and website said one date but after date passed was told a different estimate date. Numerous calls and emails not replied to. Spoke to 2 people there and one bloke didn’t even say the name of the company and answered the call as if it was an inconvenience

Beware of ordering these shutters if you have astragal bars on your window. I ordered a set of perfect fit shutters and followed the measuring instructions exactly . Unfortunately despite measuring the bead depth exactly and watching the measuring videos there is no mention of the fact they are unsuitable for this window type. The slat depth is fixed with this design and any obstruction such as astragal bars prevents the slats from opening.
Customer services suggested I try fitting longer clips to increase the spacing between the blind and window however they are meant to be used on windows with increased bead depth and not suitable for increasing the blind spacing as the longer clips are still too short and bend easily when used in this way.
Unfortunately the insurance offered when ordering does not cover this problem as it only applies to errors measuring the width and depth.
My blinds are completely useless and with no offer of a refund they will need to be binned.

I ordered two GRIP FIT roller blinds which use a spring system to fit into the recesses for windows in a loft conversion. It is a clever system that doesn't use screws or anything that would damage or even touch the UPVC windows. There is a good selection of fabric, blackout and normal. The prices are competitive. The measuring instructions are very clear and there is a video to help. They were delivered quickly, safely packaged and of the correct size.

However, when unpacking one of the them the two sliding brackets and adjustment blocks fell off - this is not a problem in itself as they just slide back on but there was no indication which was the "starting" position for the four blocks (they have four positions each) - the instructions only contain very poor photos which don't show you that. Luckily I was able to carefully unpack the second blind and see what the configuration was. Once that was set each blind took literally 30 seconds to fully install. My suggestion would be to produce new high-quality photos and videos showing EXACTLY the starting configuration for the left and right blocks in position in the bracket, and photos showing exactly how they should be positioned for too tight/too slack cases.

I would certainly buy these blinds again.

Ordered shutters for my new home, they came very well packaged, unfortunately we had not read the measuring instructions properly so 2 out of the 6 shutters didn’t fit due to slightly smaller frames on 2 windows. Totally our fault. I spoke to Shaun who was very helpful. I was able to send them back to be rectified. They now fit perfectly. They look great. Love them. Easy to clean too. Only niggle was maybe some communication regarding delivery would be helpful. Excellent service. Thank you.

We ordered a waterproof bathroom blind on line. Due to an odd computer glitch the wrong blind turned up. I called and spoke to Shaun who was really helpful and immediately dispatched the correct blind without any hesitation. New blind now here and fits perfectly - we are delighted with customer service. Thank you!

So I returned the blinds and they told me I couldn’t have my money back only to reorder so I did this and still waiting on item over 6 months now they took my money and ignored me

Ordered perfect fit shutters for French doors.

Only ordered one set to start with as I’ve tried having traditional wooden shutters in another room and they don’t work for our bevelled old timey windows so looking for an affordable DIY alternative

Delivery took 5.5 weeks as opposed to 3-4 but product is very good we are super pleased!

Packaging is excellent

Reasons for not giving 5 star are communication is poor in terms of any notification of order progress, and delivery you don’t get a tracking number or any idea of day they just rocked up with it and delivered it to a neighbour two doors down.

Will be happy to place orders for all our other windows as I go along decorating each room.

We bought the perfect fit shutters and they certainly are. We took our time and watched the video before placing our order. We also took advantage of the invaluable chat line , to help through with any measuring concerns, asking questions about the trickle vents handles etc , very competent replies. Our measuring method was husband and wife team he used a man tape and I used a sewing one , both agreeing before on the measurements before writing them down . Take time and go back later to make sure you’re happy with your measurements. We didn’t take the insurance out but it’s there if you’re not confident with measuring. The results are outstanding, totally changes the look off our rooms from inside and out .Good quality materials used .With such excellent packaging, they were sure to arrive undamaged , the actual fitting was easy and took minutes. We waited about 4 to 5 weeks , however the team were happy to reply to my update requests. We have put another order in with confidence that this company definitely are customer service driven.

Ordered 5 Perfect Fits for Bifolds. Great service from Shaun. Was unsure on how to measure as video did not make 100% clear due to square beading. Contacted Emerald for advice and pointed in right direction. Fast delivery and as easy to fit as claimed. All assembled and fitted in less than 90 mins. Great transformation of the room from the Roller blinds that they replaced. Will use again and highly recommend. 5 Star customer service and product,

I was browsing the Internet for some shutters for my big south-facing lounge window, when I came across these guys. The price was excellent, obviously costs are kept even lower because you do all the measuring & fitting yourself. Brilliant, I thought, & I was so excited, I sent my order in immediately. Almost straight away, I realised I hadn't added on the "measurement insurance", but a quick message to the online chat & that was all sorted. Delivery took a few weeks, and arrived in two separate loads. On unwrapping the first batch, I very quickly realised I had made a huge error in measuring, having not only got the height & width mixed up, but also got one wrong by a full 10cm, and I could not figure out how to make the others fit... but honestly, they were so very helpful and patient, I had many emails back & forth with Ryan, who talked me through the bracket fitting, & the mis-measured panels were returned and replaced, and now fitted successfully. And they look great! I will be ordering more at some point for upstairs (but not yet, as I think Ryan probably deserves a break)

Ordering on line was straight forward, following the on line measurement guide.
Order took almost 4 weeks but this was stated online during the order process.
Delivery arrived extremely well packaged. It took longer to remove the packaging than to fit the shutters.

Ordered shutters and they agreed I could pick them up instead of delivery.
I was a bit late but they waited till I arrived and were very helpful. Shutters are well made and my wife is over the moon with them. Will be ordering more.

We ordered 8 day and night blinds online. We didn’t encounter any problems with their website. It’s a easy process.
The blinds arrived after two weeks. They were well packed and there was no damage to anyone of them.
