Their latest release of the Serial port monitor no longer displays com-0com serial ports. They proceeded to delay resolution of this until PayPal disputes no longer were valid. Trivial questions. Telling me I did not troubleshoot when it was clearly displayed in a previous email. I am a licensed user of version 6 which works and they refuse to provide the previous licensed that works.

these people are fraudsters!!! beware. they sold a 'lifetime subscription' for videoduke. then i found i could not see it as i was on a 'free' trial. when i contacted them they said oh yeah sorry, that lifetime subscription was for an older version which we no longer support. if you want to use the current one, you have to buy a new subsription. complete scam!!! lack ethics and integrity. do not support this fraudulent company that does these types of scams.

2Checkout (now Verifone) and Eltima I experience both as absolute catastrophes. Both together (software developer and payment processor) seem not to have understood the daily routine of e-commerce yet.

Also this imposition, that you order the software at Eltima.com, but have the email exchange with Electronic Team Inc. They don't seem to know anything about corporate design and trustworthy actions.

There is also no sending of a proper receipt or invoice.

All together it seems like a mixture of absolute incompetence or deception.

2Checkout (now Verifone) and Eltima only cause a waste of time for the customer.

1. they do not manage to send the license number immediately after ordering a software. Although the payment was made directly via PayPal.
2. if you ask by email, when finally the link to the software and license number will be delivered, you get an email that it takes 5 days until they answer.
3. understandably I thought this was a stalling tactic and complained again and told PayPal my fear that there could be fraud.
4. then finally an email followed with a license number. Surprisingly not from 2Checkout (now Verifone), but from Electronic Team Inc.
5. Electronic Team Inc doesn't seem to know what software it is and sends some registration name and number.
6. the numbers sent do not match.
7. i reported by email that the number is wrong.
8. although I had documented everything, I was asked to send a screenshot of the error message, although I already sent the statement. Again, just stalling attempts.
9. again I sent everything by email and now I waste days with this, with which normal, serious and responsible service providers only need a few minutes, using the technological possibilities that have been available for almost 30 years.

Quite everyday settlement processes are obviously not mastered.

2Checkout (now Verifone) or Electronic Team Inc don't seem to know how to do anything. Why do software providers use such a poor billing service provider?

I have used the Eltima Virtual Serial Port program to setup virtual ports for my software defined radio (SDR). I have used other solutions in the past, but this product is intuitive and very easy to use. The best I have found by far.

Purchased their Virtual Serial Port Driver software. Never got to use it fully as it would loose activation. Requested a refund and they said No as the software works. Licensing doesn't work - but they don't care.

Hi, I've been using a MacBook for about 10 years now. And I constantly come across applications of this campaign. My favorite and most needed app is VideoDuke. Since I am constantly working with videos and graphics, this application is a must have for me. And I like everything. Of the advantages of the app is reasonable price, there are a lot of functions, the interface is convenient and understandable. I recommend VideoDuke 2.0 to all Mac users. Thanks

They removed a feature: Youtube Video Download. Folx used to work downloading YouTube videos, but, since 2022, they REMOVED this function... so, we bought the app with this function working, after someday Eltima removed the functionality.

Could this action have legal consequences? Probably...

In addition, they don't answer the help tickets... they've created another platform to answer... everytime we need to contact them we need to create an account to solve tickets in another website...

I downloaded the airy program does not work they refused to provide a refund even after admitting the software did not work, the entire platform is a scam please be aware of this company and don't spend your money!

February 2018 I purchased the Elmedia Player PRO from Eltima.com. This software was purchased because: Advertised Lifetime use and no need to purchase anything else and the ability to view and download web videos in multiple formats. Since 2018, this merchant sends out a yearly “ Major Update” that if you DO NOT purchase they remove your PURCHASED PRO features (e.g. downloading videos) and then convert your PAID PRO software (without your permission) to “ free.” The "free" version has limited features. IF you DO NOT pay for this “major update” they render your PRO PURCHASED software unusable with no PRO features. This has happened three times in the last three years literally forcing me to purchase this " major upgrade". Yet this year I refused, & asked that my PRO version be restored- refused. Despite over 10 emails with customer service with proof of PRO purchase being converted to “ free” this matter has not been resolved. Request to speak with a manager was ignored.
Despite trying to resolve matter for several weeks even with assistance of BBB their “answered” solution was unchanged: to download an older 7.0 not the 8.0 Pro I had installed, via a link unassociated with their website. I refused since this was not the installed version when they “bricked” it to “free”and don’t download from non company links. They simply need to provide an activation code- why is that so difficult?
Heads up to other consumers- I believe they “bricked” my software from paid Pro to “free” (and therefore making you pay to upgrade) through the firewall (that you give permission to when you do the original install)- my advice remove this company’s firewall access after you pay and install this software!

10/21 complaint filed with the BBB but for some strange reason the BBB removed the text of this unresolved “answered” complaint prompting me to post here to alert other consumers.

We had an urgent issue, and Boris assisted us in resolving it very quickly, and was providing us prompt responses along the way.

When buy software from this company they take forever so they cannot give you a refund! Now I have a program that does not work and Elitma Software refuse to refund me my money! First Folx would crash, then it would start downloading complete files al over again, and now it does not work.

The best download manager for Mac, From Video to Torrent, it has all. I simply love it. So simple and elegant to use, not much pressure on CPU.

This not only the replacement of Internet download manager in mac. It's way more than that. Use it and thank me later.
