We had so many downtimes, malfunctions and issues with the hotline. A pitty, could have been a nice and relaxed summer with family...

This was our first family RV trip, and we had a great experience with El Monte RV. The RV was clean and comfortable, and everything worked well throughout our trip.

Unfortunately, we hit a deer during the trip. Thankfully, no one was injured. The front bumper and headlight had some minor damage, but the RV was still safe to drive, so we were able to continue our trip as planned.

We were in an area without cell service and weren’t able to report the accident within 24 hours. The staff were understanding about the situation and helped us through the process, and the damage was covered by our insurance. We were especially glad that we had chosen the VIP Plus coverage.

Overall, we had a very positive experience, both with the RV and the staff at the San Leandro location. We would definitely consider renting from El Monte again for our next RV trip.
A special thanks to Jose, who helped us at the front desk. His friendly smile and calm attitude made us feel much more at ease.

FIRST TIME RENTING . IS WA A GREAT RV EXPECT IT WOULD OF BEEN BETTER IF ITEMS AND USAGE OF RV WAS EXPLAINED BETTER. BED WAS BROKEN AND NOT TOLD ABOUT. OTHER THAN THAT IT WAS A NICE RV.

I have rented from El Monte several times. Customer service is great. I had no issues with them.

Over all great costumer service at the Dublin (SF) location. We had an issue with an ant problem in the motor home we rented and the smell of cigarette smoke in the over head bunk above the driver and passenger seats. That was a bit disappointing to deal with but overall we managed to have a great trip.

I got exactly what I needed on somewhat short notice. From the communications by email up to dropping off the RV at the end of the trip, everyone was easy to work with.

It was so easy to rent from this location. Very helpful staff. Location was close to my home.
Class C RV was easy to drive. And loved the the extra room with the slide outs. Awning was a plus. And as I camped at a campground with electrical and water, hooking up was easy.

The RV was in good conditions. Everything worked. We had no issues.
Most importantly, I lost my wallet, the cleaners found it, and management report it to me and sent it to me. all the cash and credit cards were there.
This level of honesty and integrity is quite rate nowadays.

We enjoyed our experience with Dublin (San Francisco) El Monte RV. We rented an RV for a week traveling to 3 states. The staff was friendly and helpful. The facility is clean and well maintained. I'd recommend this location to friends that wanted to try the RV life for a trip.

1. Pick-up in Denver was effective and pleasant. No problem and very friendly personnel.
2. The ~5 week travel and ~5200 miles were without any problem with the RV! No engine or tires issue and no problems with any of the onboard systems. So I am unable to comment on their 'service' during the trip: there were no problems...:).
3. Return in San Francisco was again very effective and pleasant with nice and friendly personnel.
In summary: great RV and great company.

We rented a Class C motorhome from the Dublin/Bay Area location for an eleven-night family trip with our two teenage sons. The vehicle was handed over with an auxiliary house battery that would not hold a charge. On day one, after a full day's driving, the fridge died within hours and we lost about US$250 of food we had just bought. For eight of the eleven nights the fridge and 12-volt systems were unusable and the generator wouldn't even start. We paid for eleven nights in a self-contained motorhome and were without that core function for eight of them. Our trip was planned as a (at least for 24 hours) self-sufficient off-grid trip through Yosemite to Las Vegas, so the failure also cost us planned day hikes — we couldn't leave the vehicle too long/far because we had to manage power. El Monte's own On-Road Care acknowledged the fault in writing, but we were sent from shop to shop on the road, and the battery wasn't replaced until day eight at another branch. A worn-out battery is exactly what a pre-rental inspection should catch before handing a vehicle to a family for two weeks. The staff we dealt with were polite, but the inspection and maintenance let us down.

Had a great experience with El Monte RV in Dublin, CA. From check-in to the final walk-around, everything went smoothly and professionally. We drove nearly 3,000 miles over 16 days, and the 24-foot RV was updated, comfortable, and performed flawlessly throughout the trip.

We experienced one minor issue when the kitchen faucet began leaking on our last night, but since it happened at the very end of the trip, it wasn’t a significant inconvenience. Other than that, the entire rental process was seamless.

I would definitely rent from El Monte RV again and highly recommend the Dublin location to anyone looking for a hassle-free RV rental experience.
