Extremely unprofessional company to…

Extremely unprofessional company to work with. An obvious scam is operating with the government as well as students. Collapsed system, broken education system, under qualified lecturers, favouritism on its peak, controlling environment, fragile working environment. Bypassing government and giving admissions to not eligible students.

My experience at the Elizabeth School…

My experience at the Elizabeth School of London has been extremely disappointing and frustrating.

I am studying the Foundation Year in Business and Law, and the overall quality of the institution has raised serious concerns for me. In my class there were multiple students who could barely speak English, which made me question how the admission process works and whether the entry tests are actually meaningful. It is difficult to follow lessons and complete group work when some students cannot communicate at a basic academic level.

The professionalism of some teachers was also very poor. There were classes where the organisation was unclear, the teaching quality felt unstructured, and the level of professionalism did not match what you would expect from a higher education institution.

I also had issues with how academic matters were handled. After failing one module (Individual Project), I was told that I cannot progress to Year 1 and must retake the module with attendance. While I understand that failing a module has consequences, the way this was communicated and managed showed a lack of support and guidance for students.

Overall, the experience has made me seriously question the quality, organisation, and standards of the institution. I would strongly recommend that prospective students research carefully before enrolling.

Extremely poor student support – Birmingham campus

Student support at the Birmingham campus is shocking. Emails are ignored, phones never been answered, and the only way to get a response is to physically go to campus. When you do, staff casually say “ we just seen your email” — as if not checking daily or replying is normal for them.
This constant lack of communication causes serious problems, including Student Finance delays and unnecessary stress. Many students are leaving because they receive little to no help when they need it most.

Management urgently needs to investigate the ignorance and lack of accountability within the Birmingham student support team and recruit staff who actually want to support students.

Completely unacceptable for an educational institution.

My recent experience at the Elizabeth…

My recent experience at the Elizabeth School of London – Leeds Campus, specifically with the Student Finance Support department, was unfortunately very disappointing. I repeatedly encountered an unhelpful and rather dismissive attitude from the staff. Breaks appear to be taken at random times rather than according to any clear schedule, which creates unnecessary difficulties for students who need assistance.

During one particular visit, I knocked on the office door shortly before 1:00 PM and was told they were on break. When I returned exactly at 1:00 PM, according to their stated opening hours, a staff member opened the door but immediately left for another break without offering any communication or guidance. As a student seeking support, I expected at least a basic level of courtesy and willingness to help.

This type of behavior creates an unwelcoming atmosphere and makes it challenging for students to resolve important academic and financial matters. I believe the Elizabeth School of London – Leeds Campus should pay closer attention to the professionalism and accessibility of its student services.

The school's location is the only good…

The school's location is the only good thing for the students. The academic team (3 out of 5) members are so incompetent with their own subject knowledge and English Language communication (so many grammar mistakes - basics). The fault is within Bath SPA university, who partnered with this college for the sake of students (numbers only, no quality at all). I am not sure how the academic team was selected and as a student, i would like to know the interview or screening process for some of the academic team members. As for the students, we have to go for English language test, knowledge and speaking skills etc. I wish the University looked into this for the academic team who taught the foundation year for the Business Management programme. Most students can barely speak a sentence without making grammar mistake. Thank to chat GPT. If not, almost every student will fail.

NON-SERIOUSNESS AND INDIFFERENCE.

I am a student at this university. I finished the Foundation Year, but I had so much stress because of their unprofessionalism. We use the Blackboard and MyRecord platforms, here the results always do not match. For example, on Blackboard I have a good score on an exam but in MyRecord I have a Fail. No one answers calls and emails. So, I do not recommend it. Only stress.

DO NOT APPLY FOR THIS INSTITUTION

I enrolled at Elizabeth School of London (ESL) in January 2024. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing from the very beginning. The classes were dull and unstructured — I genuinely learned nothing during the Foundation Year.

We had a different teacher almost every day, and on several occasions, there were no teachers at all. We were left sitting in the classroom with nothing to do. I failed the Law module and, to this day — seven months after the end of the course — I have still not been given the opportunity to retake it. I am currently not allowed to attend any classes, nor have I received any proper academic guidance or updates.

Honestly, these were some of the worst months of my life. A complete waste of time, money, and, most of all, my mental health. Both the Canterbury support team and ESL continuously pass blame between each other and have offered me no real help or accountability.

I would strongly advise any prospective student to avoid enrolling at ESL. My experience was one of chaos, mismanagement, and disregard for student welbeing.

Avoid Elizabeth School of London (ESL)…

Avoid Elizabeth School of London (ESL) – Serious Neglect and Zero Academic Support

I am a Business Management student who enrolled through Elizabeth School of London – Manchester campus, and I need to warn others:

Despite submitting medical evidence, PIP documentation, and an Impaired Performance form on time, I was falsely marked as “Fail – Attempt 2” without being invited to any second exam. This was a clear violation of procedure and caused severe distress.

The Wellbeing Office confirmed my mental health struggles and that my documents were received, yet the school ignored them. I was left with 3 failed modules, not due to academic weakness, but because of institutional negligence and miscommunication.

I submitted my Stage 2 complaint, and instead of helping, they kept blaming each other (CCCU blames ESL, ESL blames CCCU). No one took responsibility. No fair appeal process, no accountability, no humanity.

I was treated more like a number than a person, and even with strong grades in other modules, I was academically penalized due to their own administrative failure.

If you care about your mental health, academic success, and basic respect as a student, avoid this school.

Shambles of a company

If you're thinking about attending Elizabeth School of London—don't. It's basically the Wish version of a college. The lecturers? Half of them look like they just stumbled in from a YouTube tutorial and the other half are busy Googling basic terms mid-lecture. How are you teaching a course if you don’t even know what “methodology” means?

Let’s not even talk about the vetting process—because clearly there isn’t one. They’re hiring people who can barely string a sentence together in English, and we’re meant to pay £9k a year for that? It’s giving “scam with a certificate.”

Speaking of scams—some agents are out here putting their own bank details on SFE applications and pocketing the money. That’s not just shady, that’s criminal.

And if you thought you’d at least get a clean place to study? Think again. There’s been two separate mice infestations and the rooms are so cold, it feels like you’re revising in a walk-in freezer. Don’t expect help either—management ghosts harder than your ex on weekends. place is a joke, and not the funny kind. There’s no management on weekends, so if something goes wrong (spoiler alert: it will), you’re on your own. Promises about course days? Pure fiction. They’ll say whatever it takes to get you in, and then conveniently “forget” everything they told you.

Need answers? Good luck with that! You’ll be bounced around like a ping-pong ball because apparently, nobody here knows how to do their job. Coordinators? Campus managers? Honestly, I’m not even sure what they’re being paid for because it certainly isn’t solving problems or doing anything remotely useful.

And here’s the cherry on top: they’re breaking DOFE rules left, right, and center, and guess what? They’re not even accredited. Yes, you read that right. They’re running this unregulated mess, and we’re supposed to trust them with our education? Please.

ESL is a hot mess, and unless you enjoy being scammed and ignored, do yourself a favor and stay far, far away

Unsafe. Unhygienic. Unqualified. Just avoid.

Big NO NO!

It was a big mistake choosing this "educational" institution for my university studying. There is nothing about the "education" and "studying". The teachers has poor English, very low management, during the online lessons and in campus face-to-face lesson - it is a constant break.

Disappointing Experience

Disappointing Experience – Lack of Support and Accountability

I began a foundation year in October 2023 and faced significant issues with assignment submissions due to unclear instructions. Two submission links were provided for the same task, and after consulting my lecturer and Student Support, I was incorrectly advised to use the wrong one. This resulted in a failed grade.

When I sought clarification, I was redirected multiple times without resolution. For a resubmission involving a video presentation, I was assured by a department manager that my original submission was sufficient. Yet, I failed again due to a “missing video presentation.” Despite providing evidence of my efforts to resolve these issues, I was blamed for the errors.

My appeal process was equally frustrating. The university exceeded its stated response times, taking 35 working days instead of 30 for the initial appeal, and my review appeal has now exceeded the 20-working-day deadline with no response.

If you’re looking for an institution that prioritizes clear communication, support, and adherence to its own policies, I cannot recommend this university.
