I worked as an agent with Everdays…

I worked as an agent with Everdays under Mark Eaton, and my experience was extremely disappointing.

Initially, I was brought on as a standard agent receiving inbound notifications from people requesting life insurance. Very quickly, it became clear that the lead quality was poor. Many of us agents raised concerns because the people we were contacting often didn’t understand what they had signed up for, and sales dropped significantly.

The company then shifted strategies and selected a small group of agents, including myself, to test a new inbound call vendor. I committed heavily—working long hours starting as early as 6 AM PST and staying available late into the evening. I consistently performed, averaging 4–5 sales per day at my peak, and was someone Mark regularly relied on for feedback and input.

However, the core issue never changed: the leads were misleading. Many callers believed they were responding to ads for government assistance, Medicare/Medicaid benefits, or even “free money.” In reality, they were being routed to final expense insurance. This caused confusion and frustration, especially among elderly individuals.

Despite repeatedly raising concerns about what felt like false or misleading advertising, we were told to continue selling. The result? High cancellation rates and significant chargebacks. Once clients realized they weren’t receiving what they thought they signed up for, they understandably dropped their policies—and agents were left to deal with the fallout.

Compensation was also difficult. We were only paid after the client made their payment, which, given the high cancellation rate, meant inconsistent and minimal income despite long hours of work.

Toward the end, communication became even worse. My inbound calls were suddenly cut off without notice, leaving me sitting for hours with no activity. There was no transparency or respect for the time and effort I had put in.

Overall, I felt undervalued, misled, and unsupported. Based on my experience, I would not recommend working with Everdays as an agent.

Easy to use, super quick answers

I find financial matters really confusing and I tend to check out pretty quickly when I have to deal with them. But I wanted to be sure I had the right life insurance for my family so I found this site and went through the online questionnaire. It only took me a few minutes and I was amazed and happy that it told me I had the right insurance already! I was expecting to be pushed to buy more expensive insurance and / or to be totally confused by the site, but I was very pleasantly surprised. And now I feel reassured and confident about my life insurance choice, wish all my other financial stuff were this easy to deal with!

everyday life is a breath of fresh air

It really surprised me how little life insurance I needed according to the (nice and simple) everyday life questionnaire. I guess there are lots of companies out there trying to convince people otherwise for obvious reasons. everyday life is a breath of fresh air and huge relief - I can get just the life insurance I need!

Honesty in buying Life Insurance?!

Three of the things I dread in life;
1. Having to deal with a new or used automobile salesperson.
2. Having a colonoscopy.
3. Buying Life Insurance.

One of those changed today (hint, it wasn't the first two!)

I went on the everyday life website and used their free tool for figuring out what kind of Life Insurance coverage I needed. I answered four simple questions while dreading what they were going to recommend.

*PRESTO*

They informed me that based on what I told them, they didn't think I needed to buy Life Insurance and instead should be "focusing on other financial goals."

WHAT?!?

Why is honesty so shocking when it comes from a company that (I assume) gains to benefit from selling me something, anything?

Now I want to buy something from them because they seem to have my best interests in mind. Kudos everyday life, it's nice to see that there are still good companies and people to deal with on the internet.
